Time goes by so fast. My two now teenage boys did their preschool here. If you're looking for the…read moreperfect preschool or thinking about piano lessons for your little ones, let me save you some research: Do Re Mi Music Academy is the absolute best choice we ever made. From day one, Ms. Lauren and her incredible staff wrapped our boys in an environment filled with genuine care and infectious passion. They don't just teach; they weave joy into every single lesson, turning learning into a playful adventure. But it's not just about the fun. Did you know that data shows students who take early music lessons score up to 20% higher on standardized tests, particularly in math and reading, compared to their peers? I saw that brain boost firsthand as my boys transitioned seamlessly into grade school. Our journey didn't end at preschool graduation. We trusted Ms. Lauren and her team so deeply that we stayed on for years of piano lessons. Through every milestone, the academy felt like an extension of our own family--providing a safe, comforting, and nurturing space that helped shape my boys into the confident teenagers they are today. Yes, the cost did increase over the years, but everything does. It was the value, convenience and nurturing that made us stay. If you want your child to build a lifelong love for music, academic confidence, and beautiful memories, check out Do Re Mi Music Academy. You'll be so glad you did! #DoReMiMusicAcademy #EarlyMusicEducation #PreschoolLife #PianoLessons #NurturingCreativity

Most importantly, they know how to encourage the kids to learn. My kid learned a lot during her time there. She even tried herself to play a few advanced pieces for recitals over the years. She out grew the school after a couple of years with Ms Leah and Hannah. It's too bad they don't offer 1-1 lessons. I was sad to pull her out for 1-1 lessons now. But, I strongly recommend Do Re Mi for young beginners!

She just wanted to try it all as fast as she could. Different areas for kids of different ages. The playground's icon is a 25-foot-long colorful caterpillar climbing sculpture. Kids can climb, exercise their fine and gross motor skills, and really feel their accomplishment as they climb to the nose of the caterpillar. All play areas have adjacent paths for continuous easy movement. The colorful park has a tree and meadow motif, with plants and creatures depicted in the equipment and the poured-in-place rubber surfacing. The playground includes features designed to encourage healthy physical development, such as slides, swings, spinners, and climbing rocks, as well as nontraditional playground activities designed for sensory development. The playground is divided into three areas: One play area focuses on early childhood, one focuses on children ages 5 to 12, and one is easily used by both groups for climbing, swinging, spinning and sliding. Children can play anywhere on the playground, but the design allows younger children to play independently from older children. The early childhood areas feature equipment that helps young children develop balance, coordination, social skills, and imagination. They can climb on a sculpted ladybug, and spin in an Omni Spinner and on a ring-like Super Nova. A glider swing is big enough to accommodate a pile of kids. They can try the balance beam and play in a little house. In the painted-games area, children can hopscotch on a dragonfly or balance on a bee flying to a flower. The Rolling Hills synthetic turf mound invites them to climb up and roll down, and in a climbing area, they can travel the circular walk or climb the tree to the top of a play structure and slide down the slide. Children on tricycles or in wheelchairs rolling on the Wavy Walk can stop at a stop sign, fill up at the gas station, and slow down in the school zone. They can also enjoy the sensory delight of making music on oversized instruments. A central covered area with picnic tables allows parents to sit in the shade and see almost every play area. Benches are also scattered around the periphery. A bathroom was clean and close by. This park is definitely worth the trip. Bring a picnic, but don't bring your dog. Dogs (other than service animals) aren't allowed.

It has been so obvious how much they truly care for every kid. The state of the property can only be described as "magical". The children have the opportunity to play and learn outside, gardening, taking care of animals, and learning real-life skills through play. Our son has grown academically, learning to read and write...as well as just as a person - learning patience, sharing, regulating his emotions, etc. They also focus on healthy foods and habits and teaching a good foundation for how to take of your body and the earth. Something that matters a lot to me in addition to all the other things is cleanliness. The property inside and out is extremely well cared for and safe. All kids wash their hands on arrival and many times throughout the day - and they always keep parents in the loop if something is "going around". I would recommend Village Learning to anyone who wants a magical upbringing for their kids...a true home away from home for them.

This place is amazing. The first daycare my children were placed in was terrible and I was…read morereluctant to place my girls in another one. However, from the beginning Alexandra was patient and was willing to address any concerns I had about my previous experience. My oldest daughter had a speech delay which made her behavior - challenging. This didn't intimidate Alexandra though, who immediately began looking into ways she could continue to support my daughter while in her care. When that same daughter left for kindergarten, she was ahead of her peers academically - being able to write her entire alphabet and knowing all the letters and sounds they made. My youngest daughter is still in her care and, when I gave Alexandra feedback about some ways she could better support kids who were going into kindergarten, she listened to the feedback and made thoughtful changes to the curriculum that that future children will be even better prepared. However, she doesn't just take feedback from me. I know that other parents are able to express any concerns they have and Alexandra listens and implements any changes as necessary. She loves the kids in her care and always has their best interests in mind. I must note, while Alexandra is absolutely amazing - she cannot do it alone. But that's not a cause for concern! When she recently expanded her daycare, she was very thoughtful about the staff she brought in. Eunice, Amanda and Davika, her assistants, are also phenomenal. In fact, thanks to them, I think her expansion went off without a hitch and she successfully expanded her center! If you're looking for a daycare, I know a spot will open up when my youngest goes off to kindergarten this fall - I'd get on her wait list now. You won't be disappointed!

Watching his growth over these past few months has been amazing, and we owe so much of that to the wonderful, caring staff. When he first started, it was a big transition--he had been home with me since birth, and adjusting to a new environment and new caregivers was tough. He cried a lot and had trouble napping at first. But the staff was so patient and gentle with him through it all. Their support and consistency helped him feel safe and loved, and it made all the difference. Now, he's excited to go to school--he even runs into the classroom and forgets to say goodbye! As a parent, there's nothing better than knowing your child feels happy, secure, and cared for. Thank you to everyone at Bright Horizons at Longacres for helping him grow into such a confident little person. We are so grateful.

If you look at the staff picture wall by the entrance only a handful of teachers have been there longer than a year. We also noticed that staff can be very stressed at times due to being shuffled around from class to class. We finally left (intending it to be temporary) due to our second child being born. Our son had his pictures taken right before we gave our notice and requested to purchase it as well but we never heard back after multiple attempts. TL:DR Depending on the teacher that you have your experience can vary by a lot. If management can do a better job with keeping the staff less stressed/happy I don't think we would hesitate with coming back.
