I went in to get some car keys copied and they were very professional and efficient. I was in and out of there in 5 minutes. The cost to copy the double sided key was $7.50 each. They do advise that if you are copying a car key, you bring the car in so they can guarantee it works. read more

We requested that four locks be rekeyed. When Kyle arrived, he determined that two of the locks were too old to rekey and suggested another solution, which solved the problem of having lost keys, and was less expensive as well. This review is a long time in coming. Nicholas Skala literally prevented me from going to the hospital. It was an extremely hot day in San Diego and I had locked myself out of my house and none of my neighbors were home. I couldn't even get into my garage.I wear an insulin pump for my Type 1 diabetes. 3 times failed, I went to get a copy of a mailbox key took it home didn't work went back. They said they could try to make another one. If it didn't work, they would give me a refund ,at that point. I just decided to buy a new lock and have duplicates made . On a second occasion I gave them a second chance , I tried to get a brand new gate lock key duplicated, after two times failing to make a key that would even go into the lock. I just requested a refund. If Home Depot can't make the key, do not try busy bee they are not a true locksmith. I am no expert but you would think after the first failure and saying the key wouldn't even go into the lock, you would take a measurement like a caliper, etc., after 2 separate incidents and three failed attempts. I went to lynns in El Cajon. They are true locksmith , one try and the key works no problem. Save time and money and go to Lynn's ,they made the same key that BB tried twice to make and failed. They made it on the first time and sent me home with a free blank so if I wanted more it would be faster when I returned. On top of all that they are literally half the price. read more

Highly recommend! My car's keyless remote fob stopped working and I knew a dealer replacement would cost way too much, so I decided to try to repair it myself. After struggling just trying to open the sealing, I gave up and went into Busy Bees for help.
