Well here it goes, I ordered a 8oz. Ribeye steak combo which came with a crab cake. The steak was tough, it tasted like it was low quality meat, I asked for A1 for my steak, the waitress got it out of the refrigerator because the bottle was cold and when I poured it on my steak, it made my steak cold. The crab cake was very salty, I couldn't eat that, the waitress was very nice. When she brought out the place for our rolls, one plate was chipped on the edge, the 2nd plate have a small bug crawling on it. We spent $72 on a meal that was very disappointing. We tried the new Butchers Steak and Seafood last Saturday. The server was on point and very nice. I got a water with lemon but had to switch to a sweet tea because it tasted like soap. The bread was good, had a slight sweetness to it. My husband ordered the Butchers 16 oz. Bone-in Ribeye Steak. I ordered the Stuffed Flounder. The food presentation was really good. The portions were good (for the price though I would have gotten a little more for my bang). The steak was good but really under cooked towards the bone (took a picture to show). It was tender up until then though. The flounder was good, but I don't think it would have been on its own as it wasn't seasoned, but it was stuffed with crab meat so you tasted that the most. The white sauce on top wasn't needed, they should have just done a butter sauce instead. They still have some kinks to work out. I think when we go back we will get the lunch menu. We were there Friday night. We entered and she said I will seat you in a moment. She then said Taylor party? This way. I said no we are not. She said OH 30 Min wait. We left. So tonight we tried again. We were seated promptly. We ordered hamburger steak with 2 sides. He got a tiny sweet potato and a small cup of cole slaw. It took 30 minutes to get it. (SALAD IS NOT A SIDE) It was 17.99. At texas roadhouse its 12.99 with rolls. I got a sirloin salad with cold 4 pieces of steak. We were not offered rolls or steak sauce. No one checked on us. No refills of water. It was awful for $38.00. We never got a bill. We had to tell cashier what we ordered. I asked why people got rolls and we didn't. She said you had to ask! People around us didn't ask. Heck, I couldn't even get water. We won't go back. Who was I supposed to ask????? We were ignored. read more

Just tried this place, just got a burger but it was very tasty, the young man who was the waiter was very nice and helpful. Next time I'll try the steak. Glad to see something new in Franklin different food choices. It was clean, don't see where people were saying it was dirty. A tad noisy but, a lot of places can be noisy. I ordered my steak well done and it was burnt, had no seasoning and dry. There was no seasoning on the corn or broccoli. My husband did not like the butchers chicken. The naked wings were not a hit either. If you like the Sister Sherbert rolls in the bag, that's what you get. The best thing we had was the baked potato and shrimp. We left $72 worth of food on the table! I can say the other staff were friendly. Our waitress did not know the menu, was nervous & didn't check on us even though others did. She did not know the menu & didn't bother to say "let me find out." She just said she couldn't remember. I had to get up & find her to say we needed the check. Staff is pleasant and friendly. Food is very good. Bourbon steak and fish n chips can be vouched for. Ambiance is rustic with western influence. Prices are normal for the times we live in. Some will remember the building when it was a Golden Corral. read more

The place is busy, and understaffed. They literally just opened last week. Give it a minute. Then you get to a table, they're fine! They did a nice job making this place presentable! I like the atmosphere, everyone around us seems so happy to be here. The food: better than I expected, the crab stuffed mushrooms were amazing, portions were small though. The in-bone ribeye was one of the best I've ever had! Disclaimer I had sauteed onions and mushrooms added, they were perfect. The wait staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, we asked to move tables and the 2 people running the floor made it happen(we wanted to sit at a cozy window seat). For a place open for 3 days and extremely understaffed for the packed parking lot, every single employee was professional and helpful! We asked the other wait staff questions and they didn't hesitate to help even though we were not their table. I can't wait to see how they thrive. So if your are going to call yourself a Steak and Seafood restaurant then be one. I ordered the 12 oz ribeye med rare..There is no way possible to get a steak that THIN med rare. It was tasteless and chewy, never offered any bread or any type of steak sauce. My girlfriend got the Salmon, grilled..what a joke, it wasnt even red, bland no taste..Unbelievable! My husband and I arrived at 5:00 on a Friday night. The restaurant quickly filled up after we arrived. The surrounding tables were receiving service, but we weren't. We had to ask for a waitress. My husband ordered a 12 oz ribeye with sautéed spinach and steak fries. His dinner also included bread. I ordered a house salad with a crab cake on the side. His steak and spinach came out first and then fries. We had to get our server's attention for steak sauce and ketchup. My salad, that I ordered without cucumbers, came with cucumbers. No crab cake or bread yet. The server returned a few minutes later to check on us. I sent the salad back and eventually got my dinner with my husband's bread. He had already eaten his entire dinner by the time I received mine. The steak was extremely thin and flavorless. The same could be said for the spinach. My salad was fresh and crispy, but the crab cake was very thin and mediocre. We had to request drink refills. We were extremely disappointed with the food and the service. No discount was offered. Sadly, we were hoping to have a new place to eat out, but we won't return. read more

I don't mean to hammer this place too bad, BUT. These owners pretty much have the Monopoly of restaurants in Franklin. Two, so called Italian restaurants that wouldn't last 5 minutes any where else in Hampton Roads besides Franklin. They call this a Steakhouse? Have any of these guys checked out a real Steakhouse anywhere? Using cheap cuts of meat from Sysco Foods is probably not going to cut it, especially for their prices. They list fresh fish, really in Franklin, fresh frozen is more like it. The guys should look at Tilapia, any restaurant that sells this crap is not serious. Why can't they just get some serious steaks from U.S. Foods and maybe hire a chef, not one or many of their family members to cook. Have a happy hour, good steaks, burgers and roll with it. The menu is so over the place, saying any fish is fresh is a lie, like they are turning over that much food. Eating at restaurants from all over the country this place is a joke, come on. the outside still looks like shit and the inside is bland. Owners, maybe take a food tour around Hampton Roads instead of thinking Franklin folks are ignorant and will keep patronizing your establishments. P.S.
