Sirloin, Patty baked with potato loaded and Texas toast

We came in had to wait to Seated that was ok the service was good the food was good and getting close to closing and the employees were using the restroom as a playroom being very loud, not appropriate for a nice restaurant that I will return the service and the food was great

It's a great local place with many great options to choose from. We both had Rib Eyes and end up taking 2/3's home. Can't wait to go back here.

My husband and I heard wonderful things about Butcher's Block and those things were not wrong. We tried them out on a Saturday night for our anniversary. The atmosphere was casual and family friendly. Our server was very attentive, helpful and friendly. We started with the shrimp cocktail which was delicious with large shrimp. I also had the French onion soup and bacon wrapped filet mignon. My husband had the cowboy ribeye (I believe that was the name and it had Cajun seasoning). Everything was perfectly cooked and super delicious. The only thing I didn't care for was you don't know your meal total until they ring up your bill at the register (many of the steaks show as "market price" on the menu) and the amounts aren't shown on the handwritten bill. But the prices were fair and we will definitely go back again.

First of all, let me begin by saying this was a trip to the bar area of this restaurant. I was in…read moretown visiting friends and they have a regular routine on Friday. They go to Aubrey's for drinks with friends they've met there who also have made this their favorite spot on Friday. Anyway, the bartenders Sid and Brian are friendly and great servers. If you enjoy a variety of beer types, Aubrey's has you covered. Ask for a taster of the PB&J beer. I know it sounds weird but it's actually pretty tasty. If you live nearby and feel the need to socialize and maybe meet a few new people, come to Aubrey's and ask for Sharon. She is one of the regulars and has never met a stranger

The crispy potatoes were also good, and the Parmesan spinach tasted okay. However, the meal ended up causing a severe health issue for both my husband and myself. I ordered the fish and chips and was highly disappointed by the food quality. It wasn't the thick, flaky pub-style fish with a light crust you expect; instead, it was thin, heavily breaded, and tasted like a frozen product. I didn't care for the lemon caper sauce or malt vinegar combination and only ate a few small pieces of fish and two bites of the spinach side. That dinner (along with morning coffee with cream) was all I had consumed that entire day. Around midnight, I woke up with agonizing stomach cramps and spent the next several hours alternately vomiting and dealing with severe diarrhea. It was a miserable experience! My husband only tasted a single piece of my fish to see what I meant about the quality, and he had the Parmesan spinach side with his own meal. On our drive home, he had to make an emergency restroom pitstop and suffered from loose stools multiple times through the night, too. Because the fish and the spinach were the only shared items between us, there was clearly a major food safety issue with one of them. Management needs to urgently investigate their seafood storage, handling, or spinach prep temperatures. Drink here for the cold beer, but be extremely cautious with the food!

Color me hooked. I asked a friend several years ago about Mrs. Belts Cafe. He's no food snob, so I…read morerespect his recs. He wasn't impressed. I've avoided it since. I decided to go against the rec and try it out for myself. I did a lunch special for $9.99, which came with 3 side and a roll, cornbread, or cheddar biscuit. If that didn't get your attention, well read on, my Yelp! friend. I pickle meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, fried squash, and corn fritters ('cause I'm healthy like that). Meatloaf is a hard thing to do outside of your momma or grandmama's house. Cracker Barrel can't get it right for me. Troyer's, in Limestone can sell you a 1/2 pound piece of it, but you and I both know it's mid. This meatloaf was good. It was moist and tender, and not drenched in ketchup. The mashed potatoes were decent. The corn fritters were mid. I've saved the best for last - the friend squash was awesome! It was, if I'm honest, the star of the show. For $9.99, just under $11 with tags, tax, and title...yep, I'm in on that deal. The real star was the service. If you can find better service in Greeneville, let me know where it is. The cashier/waitresses were incredibly helpful and recommended things to this newcomer to the place. Will I be back? Um, maybe tomorrow, but if not it will be soon.
