Beef Sausage was deep fried again not smoked which is why I came to a "smokehouse". Service Review: The gentleman upfront very cool and accommodating. I asked for a sample of the brisket to determine whether I was going to purchase the 1/2 pound or the pound. As he preceded to get the sample the gentleman (who may be the owner, not sure) in the kitchen told him nah we don't do that. This is the same gentleman that rung up my order and he just wasn't friendly almost annoyed while I was asking questions. Ultimately I want to support local business so I will give them another chance. I'll be hoping for a better experience.

They come with a marina sauce but I swear you don't even need it. Their normal Detroit style pizza is bready and yummy, but the New Haven style is thin and so crispy. You can't go wrong with either. They also have good salads and super crispy chicken tenders. I only wish the breading was seasoned as they taste a little bland. On the other hand, I find the pepperoni a little too salty but overal the pizzas are usually well balanced. Service is attentive and quick and the place gets packed but there is plenty of outdoor seating when the weather is nice! Such a good neighborhood spot for a happy hour or dinner!

Was in Baltimore for a show at Creative Alliance (highly recommend checking out Get Mortified --…read morefantastic show!) and stumbled across Pig & Rooster... and wow, what a find. This is the kind of neighborhood bar you instantly want to make a staple every time you are in the area. Chill vibe, and absolutely phenomenal Detroit style pizza. Our group tried four different pies and every single one knocked it out of the park: crispy edges, great toppings, perfect dough. The bartender was awesome too, super attentive and even shared a good laugh with me about a couple of the signs around the bar. It made the experience even better. Highly recommended if you are in the neighborhood, or honestly, even if you are not. Pig & Rooster is worth the detour.

Then the banchan was the glass noodles, kimichi, kimichi cucumbers, daikon radish and we also got an order of dumplings. The food was delicious. The manager was the only one working and he handled us with care. Coming over to check on us periodically and even assisting with cooking some of the meat for us. For the amount of money we spent we were thoroughly satisfied with the portion of food given. Even ended up having some leftovers. I like to eat out and Steak N Bone is definitely going in my rotation. The restaurant is clean, bathroom spacious and noise level is moderate.

The banchan was yummy and included a variety of options. The corn cheese was also delicious. The meat seemed high quality and our server stayed on top of switching out the grill and helping us with menu suggestions. My main reason for four stars and not five is I think they could do better with their gluten free friendly options. One side of the menu was clearly marked for gluten free options while the other side wasn't, making it a hassle to flip back and forth and figure out what I could eat. Despite having quite a few gluten free options, they didn't have any gluten free soy sauce (or tamari). This would've really taken the meal to the next level as the gluten free meats come without any marination and are very very plain on their own. We also ordered large combo for 5-6 people which had a good amount of meats and sides but was supposed to come with six servings of rice. We never received the rice but weren't provided a reason or a discount. I'd return in the future but probably smuggle in my own personal bottle of tamari so I could enjoy the flavors of the meat more. Overall, the price at $215 for six of us (plus drinks) was pretty good, regardless of these small hiccups.

The meat had no allergens but I was warned about the spicy BBQ potentially containing gluten so I just didn't use the spicy BBQ sauce. I do think this is the best BBQ I've ever eaten. I got the Dino Ribs and 1/2 lb brisket with burnt ends but I think they put the burnt ends on my ribs (not a problem at all). The rib was about the size of my forearm!! Needless to say, my eyes were bigger than my stomach so I never got to the brisket. I'll be freezing it tor later. They got a new loyal customer.

I love good bbg and the Texas style with a Latin twist was all that I thought it would be waiting in the line. You walk in, place your order and find a seat inside or outside. We ordered smorgasbord of food to sample. This was my first time here but my guest has been here plenty. We had the brisket sandwich, the burger and lots of sides to try. The potato salad and coleslaw were potato salad and coleslaw; good but standard. However that zesty garden and jimaca salads were phenomenal! I love a good side it balanced with the flavors of the bbq so we'll. The brisket burger was great too. Oh and how could I forget the key lime pie, the right amount of tart and sweet. I haven't found key lime pie that good since heading to thru the Florida Keys. This is a must try. Don't fear the line, stay there. Whatever you order is going to be amazing.

I was in the Dundalk area by chance and decided to give Smokin' Joes Grill a shot after seeing…read moreothers' reviews. I think it's worth mentioning that I've never had pit beef before so I am by no means an expert as to what's good or not. I will also say however, that what I ordered, the open face pit beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy was ok. The entire plate was swimming in gravy so that took away from what could've been a better meal. I did ask for gravy on the whole sandwich and the mashed potatoes (because the picture on their website looked like gravy only came on the mashed potatoes and I do like a little extra) but I wasn't expecting a to-go box literally full of gravy, so that's probably my fault. The texture of the beef mixed with all the gravy and mashed potatoes was a bit unpleasant and soupy and I periodically had to pick burnt bits and foil out my mouth so that also took away from the experience. They seem to have a pretty vast menu and I had no idea what I was going to get when I walked in. The young lady that took my order was very friendly and helped me come to my decision so the customer service was good and I appreciated her patience with me. As far as ambiance goes, while I was waiting for my order, there was an older man waiting for his order that was yelling at the tv about how Joe Biden hasn't done anything for this country and that Trump only told the truth. I try not to get caught up in politics with strangers because it really can be off putting but what can you do. I wouldn't do the gravy with a side of open face pit beef sandwich again but there's so many other options I'd like to try in the future should I find myself in the area again. A man that was also waiting for his order said he really like the ribs.
