After a long week, we walked around looking for comfort food to heal our soul on a busy Friday night, and that's how we ended up at Pig & Rooster! Service was fast and friendly, the food came out hot and delicious, and the portions are generous. We started with the mozz stixx, and I failed to get a cheese pull shot but these were loaded! I thought the marinara was a little lacking in flavor and watery, but it didn't stop us from enjoying them. I had the Double Double, which is a burger with two patties. I was looking for a dirty, greasy, delicious burger and this hit the spot. My husband got the meatball sub and it was really yummy. I would have liked more meatball, either cut in half or smaller sizes, it was essentially one meatball per sub half. This is a great dive bar with decently priced comfort food, a few arcade machines, and plenty of TVs. I know I'll be back soon!

Pepperoni cheese deepdish pizza piece with my portion of fries!

We really wanted a deepdish pizza ... something local...we asked our neighbor.... so we ordered pepperoni cheese add pineapple- deepdish pizza for doordash delivery with fries.. simple night in for us. I was just a little irritated that there was less pineapple on it... i guess it's not for everyone, but I asked for it. Besides this, the crust the cheese the sauce and the fries were very good. I hope to visit the restaurant sometime soon for a sit down meal!!!

It's a bar so get pizza. Very yummy, attentive bar tender on a Friday night. Wide selection of drinks and has games as well including big tic Tac toe.

Cool little neighborhood bar. Came in earlier in the day and was suprised about the amount of people who was in there . I didn't try the food however the drinks were reasonably priced . The fact that they have old school arcade and giant tic tac toes was an extra plus .

Double double, with one patty removed, over salted fries, and flat beer

2 stars for decent service...everything else was thumbs down. I ordered A Little Sumpin' Sumpin' beer which I've had many times and is good, except here it was flat. I ordered the double double b/c I was SUPER HUNGRY, but both patties were too small for the bun, PLUS very bland and not seasoned at all. I took off one patty and ate the other one solo b/c as I said, I was hungry, and I could only manage one too small patty on the bun. The burger deal came with fries...the fries were too salty. I ate those anyway too, b/c again, hungry. Tryna find the redeeming qualities of this dive bar, which has no ambiance, bad beer, and bad food. The bartender was ok, but I don't foresee that being a reason I come back.

Haven't been here in 2 years and am kicking myself for not coming back here sooner. The Detroit style pizza is unrivaled (yes, even compared to Underground which is another one of my faves!) We enjoyed a great music bingo night. Great food & vibes for a dive bar, the service is also great. The bartender helped point out that our bingo winning bar tabs were actually more than we expected!

Got take out from this hidden gem during COVID because I definitely wanted to try this pizza! It was super easy to find a menu online and I called in my order. The person who picked up helped clarify some new options (I must have been looking at an outdated menu.) He was super patient with me as I asked him to repeat a few things. I arrived a bit later to pick up this really dense pizza that was absolutely delicious. I would recommend if you like thicker pizza. I was so stuffed that I ate this over two days. By the time I ate it, it was a bit cold and it reheated really well. I would highly recommend!

This is a small neighborhood dive bar with an incredible menu. The food is hearty and heavy, which is perfect for what we were looking for. The staff was so friendly. We sat at the bar and the bartender chatted with us for 20 minutes and gave recommendations for other local spots and what to eat. He also clearly knew the other patrons and it seemed like a friendly local spot. The drinks were great and they had insane drink specials. Absolutely will be a staple for us.

Mozz sticks. Not enough time in the fryer and the coating was too thin, so they fell apart in a huge mess as soon as you picked one up.

This is a review for a take out order of their appetizers. Called an order in early evening on a Sunday and talked with a very friendly and helpful employee. I ordered their mozzarella sticks, bbq wings, and chicken tenders. It took about 20 minutes for the food to be prepared. Overall, I wasn't wowed by any of the dishes which is a bummer because I thought this place would have solid bar food. The mozzarella sticks didn't have enough time in the fryer and the breading was pretty thin, so when you picked one up it immediately busted open and was a huge mess. It also didn't have that crispy, crunchy crust that you look for as the contrast to the ooey gooey cheese. The chicken tenders were an ok size but there were only 3 medium sized tenders (for $9) and I actually wasn't a huge fan of the honey drizzle-- either it was too sweet or there was too much of it. Finally, the wings were the biggest let down. There was an ok portion, but they weren't grilled or fried-- no idea what they did to cook them but they had the thickest, most RUBBERY chicken skin I've ever eaten... Bleh! The texture put me off them completely and I only had two. I really hope this visit is an anomaly, because it seems to be a pretty popular place in a great location. I might try them again for a burger or something, but I definitely won't order a high volume of food in case it's a disappointment again.

    Wonderful bar and awesome bartender

Ryan is amazing bartender . Super duper friendly and nice. The atmosphere is cool and cozy, if you wanna try the Baltimore culture you should definitely try this bar. Specially if you are fan of martini and whisky cocktail. Every Wednesday they have trivia night. Sport bar, they have 4 big TV. They have some cool games to play. Beer is $3-$5 all the time. Who needs the happy hour when the drinks are this cheap. The bomb drink was cool, Ryan was explained perfectly. The food is wonderful, they have small menu to be sure you get fresh food. This is bar that should try for food and drink. Cheap and cozy and wonderful food and drinks with friendly staff.

Chicken tenders are out of this world. They had honey drizzled on them and once I took that first bite I thought I had to change my drawers.

Great old-school bar, Great music every day!…read more We are always happy when we can catch a band at Cats Eye Pub in Fells Point Baltimore. Lots of rock and some americana. We were even happier to catch a blues band the other day! (Jun 2026). Charlie Owen & Pocket Change gave a great performance, with some well-known songs and a number of good more-obscure ones. It's fun when they feature one or another band member for a riff. We also love the divey character of the bar, while the crowd is more hip than divey. It's dark and gets crowded. The stools at the bar and by the windows always fill up. The ones along the wall come and go. The dance floor is usually packed. There's a room in back with a few tables, too, and you can hear the band from there, too. The bar has a full selection. They have around two dozen beers on tap, mostly crafts, some standards. Morgan pulled us a Snowball Sour draft from Dundalk's Key Brewing. It was smooth and creamy, only lightly sour, a fairly mild flavor, but well-balanced and pleasant. Steven served us a Banhez Mezcal, nicely flavored, rather mild in that trend to over-refine the bite out of agave spirits. He brought out a tequila that he likes, though i dont recall the name, also smooth and not bitey. We ended with a pure shot of Absolut Peppar, normally an ingredient to add some spice to bloody marys. On its own, there really is no spice, just the dark and slightly bitter bite of jalapeño and black pepper. We love Cat's Eye Pub! It's one of very few spots for blues in Baltimore.

As Ruth C's review states we went on an off day when the taps weren't working (they have six beers on draft). The bartender (owner, I believe) got us bottles of cider and cans of natty boh and then watched us like a hawk. This lady must have the mortgage paid off on the bar because she was not shy in telling us what to do. We were clearly under her roof. While we were here, she would say things like: Don't put your purse there, hon. Don't shoot the pool balls in my direction Don't put your drink there Clean your room You should dress warmer You're sitting too close to the TV You could have called. Ok the last few comments, may have not come out of her mouth and I just projected that but you get the gist of it. I don't know about you but I kind of prefer my bohs without the kvetching. I'm sure she does it as a good, character-building thing, bless her heart. About the bar called bar. It's a true dive. It's not fancy. Very un-Fells Point like, and a great place to escape the crowds. I can't even describe the decor it's like 70s trailer park storage unit chic? Dude, the actual box that their toilet came in from however many decades ago is proudly displayed in the back corner. They have a pool table, basically you should come here for the cheap bohs, shoot pool and hang with friends.

We asked the bartender, "what's the address of the place? Is this Lancaster St?" She says, "It's Lancaster yes, but I don't know." That sealed the effing deal on the complete and total awesomeness of the place (this place called bar). Random oddities strewn about on the walls. Baltimoreans at its finest. It felt like it was someone's house when the bar wasn't open, which is fine with me man. About five minutes later the bartender says to me, "it's 1718 Lancaster." That is service people. And a bartender willing to learn. Did you know that Maryland is home to the smartest people in America? We were there on a Wednesday night last week. Maybe the crowd that night was skewed toward mid-forties, but we younged up the place. Various crowds and groups coming in and out keeping the vibe fresh. My pool partner and I won (twice) so maybe I am still high from that. Man I am feeling my biceps. We paid $2.00 for our Natty Bohs which made me squint my eyes (I am shocked when Natty Boh is ever over $0.50 but some people that I know have recently begun to question my grip on reality). I think people should come here more.
