I love this place. Driving over 30 minutes just to eat their small plates. Like most places in Atl that want to make authentic foods end up confirming to more " southern" acceptable menu items. I'm pretty pumped this place landed in Grant Park. Everything we had was soooo goooood. . Whatever the little balls of cheesy goodness were are a must have. The chicken skewers were divine. The caipirinhas were perfectly balanced. We had basically everything on the menu except the waffles and tapioca thing. It was all good! And everyone working there is super nice and knowledgeable. We went on a Saturday morning for coffee, food & drinks. Mediocre experience overall. The guys working were incredibly slow & seemed hungover. I got an iced americano and either something's wrong with the espresso or whoever made it didn't know what they were doing but I was not impressed, couldn't even finish it. For the $$ I'd expect something way better. The coffee (intelligentsia) and pastries here are great (Baker Dude) but my 5 stars are for the men's bathroom. This is a fabulous place to do your business; smells good, stocked with TP, art for sale on the walls, natural lighting, and an antique radio that I think is operable. Good coffee and tasty waffles. They dont start serving food until ten on Sunday so we had to wait around a little. Easy parking and nice chill atmosphere. We got three different types of waffles - the pesto, guava and egg/bacon ones. I liked the pesto the best. The waffles are kind of cheesy (they are made of the Brazilian style cheese bread ans thus are gluten free - not your typical batter wafflrs) so I think they lend better to savory flavors read more

This is definitely my favorite new coffee shop in Atlanta!!! First off, the baristas and the owner were there when I came in and were incredibly friendly and welcome. I'm personally a pourover / espresso snob, and love it when it's done correctly, and these dudes do it right. They use Intelligentsia, which should tell you enough. Also as a person that works remotely all the time, this place is a win. USB slots on all the electrical outlets so I can charge all my devices while I drain them to death. LOVE THIS I've only had the coffee, but there is a full bar and a food truck outside (Very Brazilian influenced) that I can't wait to try. I visited with my buddy that has Down's syndrome. This presents some challenges with restaurants, and I never really know how it's going to go. Let me tell you, these guys were amazing with him! Incredibly patient while he adjusted to it being different. Their gentleness and kindness told me everything I needed to know about how the rest of my experience would be. I had a chai, maybe the best I've had. We ordered two of the savory waffles. Mine was served with drizzled guava sauce over it. The waffle itself has cheese through it. Delicious! My buddy had a ham and cheese one. He wasn't a fan of the sauce, but he hobbled up his waffle happily and was in awe of the ham being cooked inside. The best part of the experience, I described to them what kind of drinks he likes, and our need to avoid Caffiene. They created a vanilla soda type mix for him, he loved it! He got enjoy a red carpet experience. I can't wait to return with my husband for an evening of live music. Definitely will be back! read more

Service is not bad, however the food isn't good at all, waffles are doughy and just weak, chicken wings were decent, veggie skewers way over priced and was barely even grilled. Service is very slow. It's very hard to get employees attention and you get the feeling that they are keeping their head down to avoid engauging you. My steak skewers though tasty came out cold. If you sit at the bar then you will be annoyed and in the way of people ordering their food as that is where is the register is. The waffle impregnated with cheese and bacon were very good. Perhaps they should just let people go straight to the food truck outside and sit inside if they wish. The door to the dining area is cumbersome, unsanitary, and dangerous for waitresses delivering orders from the food truck outside. In addition the menus on the bar were sticky and nasty. read more

I have only had the black bean soup but it was awful. Legit no Flavor, no salt no nothing. Looked like old sludge they forgot about. I have also had the coffee and that was actually pretty good but the service was sorta rude and rushed like I was bothering them. Don't think I'll be back anytime soon read more

Wow. Buteco really is something else. If you're looking for hearty, authentic Brazilian food look nowhere else. Buteco has highly appealing cocktails and absolutely DELICIOUS food. Although we ordered a take-out order (due to the pandemic), the service we experienced in that short period was impeccable. Our order was delayed and Rafael was extremely polite and apologetic. Im Brazilian born and raised, very authentic. They have coxinhas, plenty of savory dishes, they have guarana and Brazil's national sweet, the Brigadier (think caramel-ish chocolate truffle) it is exactly how its supposed to me, like homemade and the ones Brazilians have for their kids birthday party. Great ambiance, very nice staff. Sunday's they have Brazilian national dish Blackbean Stew in all you can eat style, haven't tried it yet, but im sure it great. I can tell this is more a labor of love and not just a way to make a living place. read more

We went last night for drinks and dinner and were impressed. Nicely hip vibe, delicious food, and tasty, not-too-sweet cocktails. The quibe were my favorite, especially with extra lime squeezed over them. We also had the coxinha, the ham waffles (sort of like chewy pizza), and the beef and the chicken skewers. The beef is especially good - tender, juicy, flavorful, yum! Also sampled the blueberry, strawberry, and the plain lime cocktails made with cachaca. All were very good. We were hungry, so we ended up ordering a lot of food and spending quite a bit, but we can't wait to go back and bring our 11 year old, as it appears pretty family friendly. Checked this place out for the first time tonight because it's one of the few coffee shops open later than 8pm in town (what's up with that by the way???) and I dug the vibe just reading about it online. Coffee/bar/food spot with bright colors, tall ceilings, and a cool Latin vibe. Folks running this place are super nice and they had the best mellow weeknight music playing at just the right volume to carry a conversation or get some work done.
