Nope, a while ago I had to drive out to the area to grab some tractor equipment and I stopped in for some coffee and snacks for the drive home. They weren't wearing ppe, so there was no way they were getting my money. I'm not sure of the local laws but people were inside hanging out and no one was wearing a mask - the restaurant I ended up going to was all outdoors, all masked with proper sanitization which leads me to believe this was one of those places that doesn't quite believe in science. read more

I love this place! It's always open, welcoming and clean. I love the atmosphere and the patrons. You get a real sense of community and love. If you want some quiet, private time you can get that too. Went in to this place and wasn't shocked after seeing the recall newsom sign that their manager wasn't following guidelines and not wearing a mask in the store talking to someone else who wasn't wearing a mask. Then proceeded to assist in making my drinks without gloves or even taking the time to wash her hands. Working in a restaurant myself this was rather appalling knowing they don't pay their employees putting them at risk with maskless customers and management. Seems sketch to keep all the profit from this place as a charity tax write off, but that's the Christian way I guess. Avoid this cesspool at all costs. read more

Walked in and instantly noticed the signs against wearing masks or having mandates. Saw the few patrons and all employees were not wearing masks. Went to the register and got helped by a clearly new employee, which is fine. Got a small caramel macchiato and it was $6? Sat and waited for my drink for fifteen mins while the employee scanned a book learning how to make my drink, again fine but hardly reassuring. While waiting, the owner came in with one of her pastor friends, went behind the counter and made him a drink on the house. Offered no assistance to the employe who was struggling and didn't care to make a paying customers drink first. She then started to loudly complain that no one was shopping there anymore. At this point all of the customers in the place gathered in a circle and started praying out loud. Never been so put off by a place in my life. I hope they go out of business, appalling. read more

This coffee shop has been an amazing contribution to our community and we love the things they stand for along with their service! In regards to any negative reviews that involve not being a kid friendly place- please disregard them. If you have "free spirited" and "rambunctious" kids that have a difficult time listening in public settings, that's not the owners fault. This coffee shop is a public setting that's being shared with all ages. It's not your living room. The polite thing is to be considerate of other paying customers and maybe instead, enjoying your coffee outside instead of disrupting a coffee shop full of people who can control themselves. I've never had an issue taking my children here and will continue to bring them. If anyone has an issue with being asked to quiet down their disruptive children, there's a Starbucks right down the street that I'm sure would love to accommodate the jumping, screaming, and smiling kids that have parents who don't want to crush their little spirits by telling them to use inside voices. Probably one of the most active local coffee shops in our community. it is always filled with people, staff is always friendly and nice, and there are tons of tables. It's a nice place to hangout with family, meet up with a friend, or even enjoy a coffee and book by yourself. they also have local musicians play occasionally. It's in a good location with various businesses and food places within the same plaza. I havent tried the food yet, but i always come for their blended drinks and iced coffees. I like the idea of Butler's Coffee. It is an independently run coffee shop with a great atmosphere and a good selection of drinks as well as snacks. This is the kind of coffee shop I wish I had in my neighborhood, where I can relax, read books or surf the Internet, while enjoying a cup of coffee. In Butler's, the free wireless works great, there's always an open table, and the place is comfortable, a nice place to escape the desert heat during hot weather. There is also a play area for toddlers and a bookshelf stocked with books if you did not bring your own reading material. Additionally, there are occasional open mic sessions for cool live music. I like my coffee bars to have those kind of sessions. As for the coffee, I have to say I'm not too crazy about what I have tried so far. The brewed coffee somewhat resembles Dunkin' Donut's coffee to me. I'm not saying that type kind of coffee is bad, but it's not really my cup of tea (or cup of coffee, in this case). Personal preferences aside though, this is a good choice for coffee in the Antelope Valley. I will most definitely come back when I need to study, read, browse the Internet, or, simply, when I just need to sit down and unwind. read more
