Got a 12-pack of cookies, in separate boxes to gift half of them to someone else. The display case was well stocked with lots of unique and tantalizing flavors on a Saturday afternoon, nut free options on the left, others to the right. We appreciated receiving immediate service, as we were the only customers there. With so many flavors to choose from, our cookie selections included the brown butter pecan (most popular according to the worker), oatmeal raisin pecan, walnut brownie, chocolate butter pecan, rocky road, mint cookies & cream, birthday cake, and my fave, the dark chocolate walnut. They also offered other unique flavors like banana toffee, carrot cake, and strawberry lemonade pound cake. Unfortunately, no peanut butter flavor available. The cookies were inconsistent in size and a little pricey, but the taste was pretty good, with a soft and chewy texture I really enjoyed. This wonderful cookie shop was recommended to me and my husband by our son. We had the opportunity of stopping by the shop today. I got the Brown Butter Pecan and my husband got the Dark Chocolate Walnut. Both delicious. Moist and not overly sweet. Crumbl who? The staff was so courteous. I love that Vallejo also has a Butter Pecan Bakeshop location! They are honestly the best cookies in the Bay Area and taste way better and more flavorful than Crumbl! Just like any other Butter Pecan location I've been to, they provide quick and friendly service. The young lady helping us out was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Excellent customer service! I went just before they closed, so some flavors were sold out, unfortunately. But all of the cookies that remained, that I ordered, still tasted great. They're right off Sonoma Blvd ! Like any bake shop you got the goods and you got the favorites . By far my Favorites were the Birthday Cake Cookie and the Salted Dark Chocolate Chip Cookie. The staff were very friendly and gave insightful recommendations. And they were very patient with my sister that was very indecisive. This newly opened branch is located at a small not busy plaza in Vallejo, with plenty of parking. Same interior as the other branches. Good customer service. I love their butter pecan and the banana pudding cookie is the best! They are fancy and more expensive in my opinion but they are worth trying. I came back for a second time within the same week after tasting their cookies through a Yelp event! This time I stopped by around 5:30pm on a Friday. Some cookies were sold out for the time being. They had more going in the back. You can always ask the employee if they have more of a flavor in the back or what's the wait time for them. (For one flavor I overheard them say it would be 40 minutes.) When I arrived there were two people in line before me. Another 2-3 groups came in after me. They are busy! This time I chose a 6 box assortment to gift to a new neighbor and another two cookies in a paper bag for myself. The boxes have a sticker seal so it's perfect for gifting! Grab a flyer with pics as a guide! Tip. The little flyer they have with pics and lists of flavors has a coupon for 1 free cookie on the back! For myself I got the cookies and cream and the brownie cookie. It was just as delicious as I remembered earlier in the week! Points for consistency! I love how big these cookies are and how they are soft on the inside without being underbaked/raw. Butter Pecan will likely be my new go to for bringing baked goods into work for occasions like potlucks or birthdays celebrations! read more

I am a huge cookie fanatic. When I was on the ferry and overheard someone talking about a new cookie shop in Vallejo, I had to stop by and try it out for myself. First, I saw the sign: best cookies in the bay. I thought wait wait wait, that's a bold claim. It was empty when I opened the door. I walked in and saw a row of cookies in front of me - just like how I like them, nice and well done on the edges and looked soft in the center. I had to order a dozen (which is a bit odd that they don't offer a bakers dozen - that would be wonderful). When I turned around there was a whole line behind me! I thought either this place was overhyped or it's the real deal. When I got home, I immediately opened the box with my mom and started taste testing every single cookie. The workers appeared a bit overwhelmed with the line of people and at one point there was only one person working in the storefront. We stopped in right before closingand the cookies were cold, but we waited and went home and warmed them for 10 seconds and thoroughly enjoyed. Very nice buttery taste, a little sweet, but that's the point, right? We tried the original butter pecan, German chocolate, sweet potato, and dark chocolate with sea salt. Always loved butter pecan cookies but this location needs a little work. I've never been told before that there was a maximum number of a certain cookie I could buy.
