The small, sandwich board signage allured me in..and once I was in, I knew this was my first stop for a specialty coffee and breakfast nosh.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu is filled with delicious coffee options, and I opted for an iced sea salt maple latte, everything bagel toasted with cream cheese (omg this cream cheese was literally everything), and a chocolate chip cookie to-go. They have the most yummy pastry case filled with homemade scones, cookies, bagels, and more. One of the coolest takeaways here was the open kitchen concept and amazing staff. You could have conversations with them while they're making their bakery delectables. You could see the passion and enthusiasm in each knead, and felt the love in each sip. Located in downtown Benicia's popular 1st St., this all vegan bakery has a humble storefront (no seating), cute interior with cupcake and cookie offerings. Cakes are available with advanced request. Hubz and I stopped by to grab an assorted dozen cupcakes to celebrate our new baby's 1 month "birthday" and they were absolutely delicious! They have traditional chocolate/vanilla/funfetti combos and some fun ones like matcha and sea salted maple. Moist base cake, whimsical traditional flavors with frosting that pairs perfectly with the cake. The ladies who work there are super friendly and provided prompt service. Lovely vegan bakery close to the waterfront. It was my first time here. I arrived 15 minutes to closing and the door was open. It's a small place but super cute and employees were friendly and welcoming. I was immediately greeted with smiles despite it being the end of the day. They had a few cupcakes and cookies leftover but instead I purchased a cold brew with oat milk. I was trying to be good. I have to say that the cold brew was delicious.
