When he first started he did have to adjust -- I'm assuming it's because of how big the class is in comparison to his previous daycare. But it didn't take long for him to blossom, all thanks to Ms. Tonja & Ms. Lorraine's class! Then he moved to Mrs. Jennifer & Mrs. Cassie's class the following year, and he absolutely loved it. When we had to travel during my husband's paternity leave to visit my parents in Asia, he kept asking when we'd go back because he'd missed his friends and teachers. We clearly see the genuine love that's poured towards the kids not only from the teachers, but also the staffs. Not only they remember each of the kids' names, they also give hugs (and stickers, ha) on the daily basis. The principal is also very involved, which we appreciated. Would highly recommend anyone to put their kids at CPCC-- it's worth the wait and every penny. Can't wait for the baby brother to join in a couple of years!

It was very obvious that both of the directors really loved children and were passionate about what they do, as they should be. My son's preschool teachers were also super sweet and kind. The facility itself is very clean and very child friendly. They have safety measures put in place to ensure that the children are well cared for and protected. I always felt that my son was in good hands when he was there. The curriculum is advanced and really good to help children learn and progress in their Preschool skills. They do chapel every week, it was so adorable to see all the little children in their matching T-shirts walk together. We ended up taking our son out of the program because it wasn't a good fit for him. I don't believe that it was any fault of the teachers, just rather the class size being a little bit too big for him at the time. The ratio for the three-year-olds was 11 kids to one teacher, with his class size being comprised of 22 students and two teachers. Once we moved to a smaller class size, our son did so much better. For the price of tuition (only slightly less than the mortgage on our home), I do feel that the class size is a little bit big, there are many other programs out there that are a lot less expensive and class sizes are significantly smaller. The public school system is now offering free preschool education and transitional kindergarten to all eligible 3 and 4 year old children in Chino and Ontario. Overall, it's a great program and for many kids and parents, it will be a wonderful experience.

We chose Goddard due to their new and excellently maintained facilities, as well as their focus on socializing children. The kids are encouraged to participate and interact in a group leaning environment. The curriculum is adapted for each individual child's development and progress. I feel this is essential, especially when children begin forming social bonds with each other and communicating. For the younger toddlers, the staff has been great at working with parents in key challenges such as potty training and eating. The culture and environment is diverse, including cultural experiences, language exposure, lunch selection, and demographics. They school additional words in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish to add additional context to subject matters. Children are taught about ethnic holidays ranging from Chinese New Year to Diwali while encouraging parental participation. Socialization is promoted through group play and they are mindful to encourage participation. They approach seperation anxiety and behavioral issues with understanding and compassion, but prioritizes the emotional and physical well being of all children first and foremost. As mentioned by several reviews, there was an incident involving repeated and extreme behavioral issues with a child who aggressively bit numerous children, including to the face. Some of the bites caused bruising and bleeding. Goddard respected the confidentiality of that child, but children and parents talk. That child was promptly dismissed to protect other children from further injury and potential emotional distress. I truly commend them on how they dealt with that disturbing situation.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Kiddie Academy…read more One of the main reasons I decided to withdraw my daughter was the constant illnesses she seemed to bring home. She was getting sick every week after attending. The final incident was especially concerning, when I arrived, she was visibly distressed and frightened and the eye contact she was making with specific teacher made fear the teacher had been mean or rude somehow. But the moment she saw me, she began crying and then started vomiting in the middle of the classroom. And it shocked me most, the lack of urgency, compassion, or assistance from the staff. No one appeared interested in helping either my daughter or me during what was clearly a frightening situation for a young child. My daughter had been perfectly fine when I dropped her off that morning, making the situation even more alarming. Despite knowing what had happened, no one from the school followed up afterward to check on her wellbeing or see how she was doing. Now, months later, the only communication I have received is regarding their attempt to collect two additional weeks of tuition because I did not provide a two-week withdrawal notice. While they seem very concerned about collecting payment, they showed far less concern for my child's health, safety, and emotional wellbeing when it mattered most. Families trust childcare providers with their most precious responsibility--their children. Compassion, communication, and care should come before policies and tuition collection. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Also be aware of the quality of the food provided. For a facility that cares for young children during such important developmental years, I expected a stronger focus on nutrition. Instead, many of the meals appeared to be heavily processed, canned, or microwaved foods, accompanied by sugary snacks and junk food. It was concerning to see items such as chips, including Cheetos, and other highly processed snacks being offered on a regular basis. As a parent, I believe childcare centers should help promote healthy eating habits, not normalize a diet centered around convenience foods and excessive sugar.

I tapped on the link and remembered thinking to myself, "Woah. All these 5 star reviews and some are even as long as essays!?" After reading all the raving reviews we called and left a voicemail wanting to get a tour. The classroom was spacious, clean and has a lot of natural lighting which was excellent because it didn't feel like your kiddo is locked up indoor. She also showed us the books and the scientific toys kids would play. Different toys had different teaching functions, not just purely for playing, which was nice. That was our 4th tour and after speaking for over an hour getting to know Miss Angela's teaching philosophy, we enrolled. Choosing a good preschool for your child is one of the first biggest decisions we all have to make as new parents. So I really wanted to take the time getting to know who is teaching my daughter. Not just what they are teaching, but who they are as a person. For children at this young age, the number one thing I am looking for in a teacher is patience, kindness, empathy, and compassion. And let me tell you, Miss Angela is one of the kindest and most empathatic person I've ever met. You just feel so secured and comfortable knowing your child is in the best hands. In terms of her academic programs, Miss Angela teaches different themes for each month. For example, during spring months she will teach about the nature, bugs, butterflies, lady bugs, etc. In class they will raise a butterfly from an egg, to caterpillar, to a chysalis, all the way to an adult butterfly. My daughter loved the lady bugs she got to bring home. Then, at the end of the month all the parents and the kids get together watching the release of those butterflies into the wild. Not sure what the future will look like for our kids with AI in the mix, but I love that Miss Angela focuses on teaching the kids how to think and how to ask the right questions. I can go on and on and on but really once you get a tour with Miss Angela you'll know what I am talking about. It's been a little over a year, and I am now the one who's writing a 5 star review for Ms. Angela and Ms. Jen lol. But I really want to spread the word like so many other parents before me. I hope this review helps all you parents out there

We actually found her daycare by chance when my husband met her on his way to the local park while she was handing out flyers with her son. At the time, our son wasn't in daycare yet, but we were planning to enroll him soon. Like many parents, I was incredibly nervous when he started at 2.5 years old. After JUST ONE WEEK, he absolutely loved going. Every morning he would wake up, eat breakfast, and excitedly got his shoes on to go to school. The growth we saw during his time there was AMAZINGGG. He learned so much through Montessori-style activities, including counting, recognizing numbers, practical life skills, independence, and problem-solving. We were constantly surprised by the new things he would come home talking about. He became more confident, more social, and loved sharing stories about his friends and what they did each day. It was so great seeing how much he changed just from going to school. One thing that always made us smile was how much he embraced the classroom routines. He would come home and try to enforce the "school rules" with us! "But Ms. Hiranthi said..." It was clear that he genuinely enjoyed being there. Ms. Hiranthi also does such a great job making daycare fun for the kids, including celebrating birthdays. Sometime when we would pick him up, he wanted to stay longer so he could keep playing with his friends. There was even one day when we got home and he cried because he wanted to go back. We ultimately had to leave because we moved out of the area, but if we still lived nearby, we would absolutely send our children to her. We are so grateful for the love, care, patience, and guidance she gave our son during such an important stage of his life. If we ever move back, she would be our first call. Ms. Hiranthi, if you're reading this - we love you!

Soon after he would even talk about his new friends at school and what he learned from Miss Lily at home everyday. First of all my son was potty trained in 1 week!!! I couldn't believe it. 2nd and most of all, ms Elsie is amazing!! She is very Montessori knowledgeable and passionate about its philosophy, so you get the whole Montessori experience. I had looked at many preschools around the area and even chino hills but they were not truly Montessori. She is very kind and patient and that's how she teaches patience to the children, because she models it first. I saw with my own eyes how she resolved conflict among children and I was amazed. I had to take notes quickly! I would sometimes ask ms Elsie advise on how to handle situations and she would gladly advise me so I think I also learned alot... she was like our north star guiding us ... My son learned to write, read sight words, logical sequence, simple math, express his emotions and voice out what bothers him. He also learned to navigate group settings and follow rules. We waited 6 months to get in and only got 3 days half days, but we were happy with that because he was able to learn everything he needed for kinder, and was so ready for it he was not nervous nor cried on his first day. I see preschool mainly as a place to prepare children for big school, academically and socially and he achieved both here. My son was super attached to me and wouldn't even go out with daddy without me. But after a couple of months with ms Elsie he was saying he wanted to go to school 7 days a week. Now he tells me he misses everyone and everything about it, going there, learning, helping, the food... everything . Btw ms Veronica who is also there every day is also wonderful, she is also very kind and patient with the children.
