Me and a friend got manis and pedis here as a last minute decision after eating at the Teds nearby. We were in a time crunch so we considered only doing one or the other but the ladies convinced us they could have us done in 70 minutes so we went for it. I got gel with French tips, and Helen did an amazing job. Kudos to them for working together and making it happen as promised. And my nails have never looked better. And a bonus was the not-your-average along massage chairs in that section to the right when you walk in...amazing! If I could give this place 0 stars that is exactly what I would do. It is to my pure upmost disappointment of this establishment to feel this disgusted at this place as I am. Upon arrival, my friend and I (2 African American females) requested 2 eyebrow waxes. The man at the front desk looks up at the lady on his left and she proceeds to say "Sorry, we don't have available for you. It very busy." So then I proceeded to ask, "Well when will the next person be available?" and she responds back, "I don't know, sorry." We then leave. Still in the parking lot I wanted to see something. I called this establishment with my "customer service voice" (aka my white voice) if you will, and proceeded to call and inquire about coming in, in about 30 minutes to get a full set, and as to confirm my suspicion, they were more than willing to accept my service. Stopped in needing a pedicure, and only had an hour but wanted a nice experience. They had me in and out literally in 60 minutes, on the dot, and the place was packed! Had the "pearl" spa pedicure, which was pre boxed with 4-5 packets of special lotions and potions etc. The brochure said you could pick from two types (scents) of the pearl spa, but another team member gave my pedicurist the box and that was the one they used - which was fine, but the choice would have been nice. The pedicure included a parafin wax dip on the feet, but this wasn't mentioned or listed in the brochure with this pedi - I wish I had known as I really dislike those and would have taken a pass or asked for extra massage instead. The sugar scrub was my favorite (perfect blend of scratch from the sugar and massage). Cost was $50, which seems the local average for a nicer pedicure. read more

They had a lot of staff helping everyone. I brought my daughter to get her nails done, and my husband decided to get a facial. The lady helping me was so attentive and very nice. She paid attention to my nails and fixed little imperfections without me having to ask, which has never happened at any nail salon I've been to. She did an over the top job on my daughters nails also. She showed her a picture from Pinterest and she nailed it. I will definitely be returning. Prices were great too. $40 for a new full set of acrylic pink and white and the. $15 for my daughters manicure with design and gel. Can't beat that. My husband chose the $50 facial which he said was mediocre, but i can tell his pores are much smaller. I highly recommend coming here. I am super extra with my nails I did not get extra i showed them a pic of what I wanted and they said they could do it then I get asked you didn't tell me you want them like that ‍. It was nice that there was no wait and I found my technician friendly and not at all pushy. The pedicure chairs are worn out! They look so dated for a fairly new salon. I had not gotten my nails done In about 3 months, and so I went to Butterfly Nails and I got a full set. About two weeks later whenever I got them removed, I noticed that I had developed a nail fungus. I know that I got the fungus from this salon, as I hadn't had my nails done prior. Also, whenever I was receiving the service, the tools were not sanitized, as the nail tech that was performing the service just picked the tools up (not packaged in proper sanitization packaging) from the table beside her. So that's another reason I know that this is where the fungus came from. I thought it was the right thing to do to call the nail salon and let them know what happened and just suggested that they clean their tools and take better precautions when sanitizing and reusing tools. After I explained my situation, the lady proceeded to tell me that it in fact did not come from their salon, and that it was because I didn't take proper care of my nails. First off, in all my years, I've never gotten a nail fungus "because I don't take proper care of my nails". She just continued to push the blame on me whenever I would try to talk to her. However, she did offer for me to come in and she would put medicine on it. Which, I am appreciative of, but I will never go back as I felt she was not listening to me, and blaming the nail fungus on me whenever it came from this salon because they did not sanitize or use their tools in a proper manner. Now I am on 90 days of medicine to get rid of this horrible fungus! Just beware! read more

My mother, sister and I get our nails done here all of the time. They do my nails perfectly every time, offer drinks (including wine) and give a nice mini massage during the manicure. I'll start this post and say I am already very picky about my nails but I was given a $60 gift certificate to this place so I thought it was a perfect time to branch out of my comfort zone a.k.a. the same girl I've been going to for the last year. I made an appointment at 3 o'clock to come in at five, when I arrived they didn't have my appointment and I had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Once I was seated it was an additional 20 minutes before they began to do my pedicure. The tools they were using to do my pedicure looked like they hadn't been sanitized. The woman who did my pedicure was so rough I thought some of my toes were bleeding and with the unclean tools in the back of my mind, I am not sure why I didn't say something. Then I got a dip manicure like I always do. The woman who was doing my manicure was nice at first, then she started filing down my natural nail so much I had to tell her to stop because they were becoming too sensitive. Just like the pedicure, I watched her grab a dirty file, a dirty buffer, and a cuticle trimmer all which *your guessed it* were not clean. The whole time she was doing my manicure another lady from the salon was chatting with her and watching videos, even leaving me there to sit uncomfortably for a few minutes as they were watching on their phone. When she was applying the color she was dipping my nails directly into the powder instead of separating the powder, which is once again unsanitary. Then she filed down my nails and they were still bubbles, totally round. I asked her to shave off more until the third time they looked like my typical dip manicure, and she look to her friend made and comment and both started laughing. I've never had a moment where I was so confident they were talking about me at a nail salon In my life and it made me instantly uncomfortable. She continued to keep telling me how thin my nails were and that the color wasn't going to look good but I kept saying it was fine because I did not want them bulky like they were. I am writing this immediately coming out of the salon with two crooked files nails because I didn't want to say anything else about the way she shaped them. That hits on the major things that I experienced at this nail salon today. Take this with a grain of salt because I did come at 5 PM and they closed at 7, but I still don't think any of that was right. Will I be returning? Nope. It makes me appreciate my nail girl that much more. read more

Just had the WORST experience of my life in this salon. I asked for coffin-shaped nails with gel polish and this is what I got. The lady was short and rude with me the entire time. She could tell she had done a terrible job because even after putting them under the light to cure, she kept re-filing and having to put more coats of polish on only to worsen the situation. They are lumpy, uneven, messy, and not at all coffin-shaped. I felt embarrassed to have to spend money on this & will have to be taking time out of my day tomorrow to get them fixed somewhere else. Went here for a pedicure and lash tint. Barely scrubbed my feet at all and only did one foot of my boyfriends. Lash tint was even worse. My lashes literally looked exactly the same (no curl and minimal tint) they tried twice and literally no curl. They then told me my lashes were too straight (yeah I know that why I'm here). The 1st appointment I made I was told to be there at 6:30 and I rushed to get there and had to wait 30 mins and then the 2nd time I went there I had an appointment with Lily AGAIN and she looked at me and told me that the girls nails were soaking and they just finished, so she couldn't get to me tonight and asked me to come back tomorrow or if someone else could take care of me. If you make an APPOINTMENT with someone then they should honor that and if they can't then work better on scheduling appointments. I decide to go back only to use my $5.00 off, so I walked in there and got stuck with the RUDEST girl ever. She burnt the skin around my nail and didn't care b/c she was rushing to finish and then I noticed after she got done painting my nails that the polish was on my skin and I said something to her about that and she said to me so rude "I know, put your nails under the dryer and I will worry about that after" I would never recommend this place. Ok so l was there yesterday. I was able to walk in and go straight to a chair. Not much of a wait. While l waited for my nail tech l was soaking off my old powder dip. When my nail tech showed the place started to get busy. When she started she seemed like she was in a hurry and missed a step while doing my powder dip. I asked her isn't she supposed to put on a base coat, she stopped and had to remove the powder dip from my two fingers. She tried to use the Dremel which burned. Ended up just using to acetone. I was ready to leave at that point. I just felt like she was in such a hurry to move on to the next person. I don't care how busy you are, lm a paying customer just like all the others. Give me my time please and do a good job. This was not my first time there. Others time have been good and not so good. Might try another place next time. Edmonds has lots to choose from. read more
