I explained that I did not, but that I would be willing to schedule one and return another day if necessary. She then asked what services I was looking to receive, instructed me to sign in on the iPad, and told me to have a seat. While signing in, I asked a question regarding which category to select for the nail package I wanted. Before I could finish, I was interrupted and told to "hold on." Shortly afterward, another employee approached me and stated in a very rude and unprofessional manner that I could not receive services because appointments were required and they were fully booked. What made the experience even more upsetting was that, before leaving, I overheard staff accepting two other customers who were also walk-ins and did not have appointments. I found this treatment to be unfair, inconsistent, and unprofessional. As a customer, I expected to be treated with the same level of courtesy and consideration as everyone else. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I will not be returning.

The deep tissue massage is pretty expensive here (more so than Swedish massage - most places charge the same), but the space upstairs was very nice - nice furniture with a homey feel. Mimi, my therapist was excellent. I've had many massages and often you feel like they're going through a routine, but Mimi really custom tailored our session to my specific needs. I could tell that she really wanted to make me feel better and feeling that intention is important. I've only been once so far, but intend to go back for myo-fascial work. I probably would've given it 5 stars but it was quite a bit more expensive.

When I contacted them about the touchup, the tech's sister (the owner) said that there would be a charge for this since there should have only been one. I explained what I just said above and she said she would get back to me but she didn't. When I contacted them again the whole story changed to: they don't feel comfortable doing it; they can't keep adding strokes or it'll turn out a messy blob; I kept changing the brow shape every appointment; maybe I should go someplace else. My response was I was "changing" the shape to make them match; I wanted strokes added where there were none so that the brows would be the same; and was she going to reimburse me if she wanted me to go elsewhere. And why was she willing to do the touchup for a charge until I said I wouldn't pay for something they did wrong and needed to fix. They said it was a costly and timely procedure for them and even admitted the tech lacked the expertise. So apparently customer satisfaction or even business image is not high on their list. They have no idea of good customer service. I spent a lot of money poor service with poor attitude.

The color matched perfectly, she cut my hair exactly how I wanted it done, and she gave me a very cute blow out which I am happy to say lasted through the night and I am still rocking today! I felt like Channel really listened to me about what I wanted. I cant wait to go back to her in July for a gloss on my ends and a touch up. The salon itself is decorated nicely and is very clean. The room that the waxing took place in was dumpy looking, there were water marks all over the ceiling and the entire area seemed unsanitary. The aesthetician did NOT know what she was doing whatsoever and the waxing was extremely painful. She was ready to tell me that I was finished after 40 minutes of pain when I realized that the waxing was not complete. She admitted to me at the end that she was "sucky", left me with wax everywhere and did not offer anything to soothe the pain. They still charged me half ( like they were doing me a favor). The manager called me to offer for me to come back at a different time for another one. (Who in there right mind would ever ever return after being put through this). It took the management 2 weeks to refund my $ and I was in touch every day until they did. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone for anything. Do not go through the misery I had to.

The environment was nice & because of all the amazing online reviews, I thought I picked the perfect place! I had 2 yrs of growing out a VERY short, icy blonde pixy/undercut. I've always worn very edgy & on trend styles - both short & longer. My hair became much curlier over the last 4-5 yrs so I thought I'd really embrace my curls this time. I have very fine 2C-3A curls. So they frizz easily & it goes flat on top /sides if I don't use the right products. My natural color is a level 6 ash blonde/brown but there was a solid 3 in. of growth in my roots while the rest was a brassy reddish. It was my intention to really brighten it up but also get a cut that would enhance volume & texture. I hadnt touched the color in over a year. I decided I wanted to do a really bright copper shade with a few really dark lowlights to ground that shade. I showed a few pictures of the cut I wanted - nothing crazy but the cut NEEDED to be a particular shape (one we see often in curly hair as it supports volume) & it would also allow me to play up the style in different ways too. Straight cuts just do not work & what I was asking for was very realistic for my texture & length. It's a cut very specific to curly hair & would have created volume & the shape is flattering to my face shape. So like I said, my previous cut was VERY grown out & the color was VERY drab too. I let it go this long so there wouldn't be any issue w/obtaining the style I wanted. It's hard to know sometimes how it's going to come out until you get home & style it yourself with your most loved products. I didn't want it blow dried that day because I needed to see how it would look diffused. Normally I let it dry about 80% by itself to get a good curl cast & THEN I go in & style it with the dryer & products. It's how I get the volume I need. Otherwise my hair is very flat despite the curls. I included before & after photos & no doubt my new color is pretty but its wasn't bright enough to lowlight. She did 1 color & it created a root shadow because of what I already had when I came in. Yes the shade is pretty but nowhere near what I was asking for. And the cut?? It's basically a trimmed version of my original style-less grow out. Yes, my trimmed ends helped my curls to pop back up A LITTLE, & yes they are less stringy but I'm wearing the exact same hairstyle (or lack of one) that I came in with. It's very heavy on top, no volume & super boring. It's also very boxy, which is reminiscent of something that works on straight hair. There's nothing nothing about the cut that's even remotely close to what I requested. It's healthier & the color is less drab but there's no style to it. I feel terrible even writing this review but I'm just not happy. If a customer explains specific curly hair needs such as fine hair that lacks volume, & they're communicating they need a cut to thwart that, it's important the stylist knows how to cut it that way. Curly hair care is VERY different from straight hair. I have not touched up the photos except to cover my face with emojis lol. I don't do selfies. I paid a lot of money for very little result. I honestly thought I was going to be much happier than I am. Unfortunately I think I need a stylist who specializes in curly hair cuts & will accommodate my color requests too. I wanted to do volume extensions at Head Rush but I'm having second thoughts now. I can't explain why my requests weren't met, I didn't ask for anything that was unreasonable or couldn't be done.
