I visited Glamour Nails hoping to try a new nail salon experience. Upon entering, the receptionist asked whether I had an appointment. I explained that I did not, but that I would be willing to schedule one and return another day if necessary. She then asked what services I was looking to receive, instructed me to sign in on the iPad, and told me to have a seat. While signing in, I asked a question regarding which category to select for the nail package I wanted. Before I could finish, I was interrupted and told to "hold on." Shortly afterward, another employee approached me and stated in a very rude and unprofessional manner that I could not receive services because appointments were required and they were fully booked. What made the experience even more upsetting was that, before leaving, I overheard staff accepting two other customers who were also walk-ins and did not have appointments. I found this treatment to be unfair, inconsistent, and unprofessional. As a customer, I expected to be treated with the same level of courtesy and consideration as everyone else. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I will not be returning. read more

While on the other hand my friend was left with their nails not even fully cut on some nails. And my acrylics at the end were messy with paint all over my finger. Glamour nails and spa is usually ok service but I recently went to remove a set of acrylic nails and I scheduled to have a soak off, I also damaged one of my nails and was in pain and I had said to please be careful in advance. When I sat down with Tina I was ready for a soak off and she proceeded to RIP my nails off, she ripped chunks off of my real nail and cut me, she severely damaged my nails and when I said to her that I asked for a soak off she just said oops and continued on, then I said to her that I did not want her to do the same for my second hand and she ignored me and tried to do the same. After A while she finally agreed to not rip off my nails and she just went in with a drill after I explicitly said several times I wanted a soak off. I asked her to be more gentle and carful with my nails because I was in pain and she ignored me, she did not take off all of the acrylic and just left me with ruined nails that had not been cleaned off. I went to complain and the women at the front told me to go sit with yet another person to finish removing the nails, I sat down and said that I wanted a soak off and the women ignored me and tried to go back in with a drill, after a while of arguing I finally made her do a soak off and she did a horrible job and didn't remove everything. They then made me pay for this treatment after I showed them what they did to my nails and said that I was dissatisfied with the service. I will not be coming back here again. read more

First time here as a referral. I had an appointment and arrived a little ahead. The lot was full and I parked across the street. A sign was posted on the door that I saw after parking. It was super crowded but I was processed quickly and brought back to my technician's station. Really liked the private booth and how light/bright the space is. The total price for my mani/pedi was reasonable at $60 but I was less than impressed with my gel mani. Not as crisp as I'm accustomed to. Didn't care for the technique. This place is horrible. I went in for a simple gel removal and I cannot believe the service I received. During the removal of the polish my tech didnt give me anything to wipe off the dust leaving that till the end. This allowed the residue to settle in do even after I washed my hands. But what really upset me was the treatment of my actual nails. She filed my actual nail so far down that she injured it leaving a red spot on the skin underneath. She also couldnt manage to cut my nails down properly leaving them uneven and boxy even after I asked her to round/even then out. She originally wasn't going to cut them at all. How are you a nail tech that can't cut nails? Why would you want someone to leave your shop with their hands looking so horrible. That's just willfully embarrassing yourself and sending someone into the world with unpresentable hands. If I have to go home and rectify your work to be honest I shouldn't even have paid at all. I am Extremely unhappy with service today. Nail technician Lilly felt entitled to chastise me as IF I was her child... for unintentionally failing to call ahead and cancel a recent appointment. I've always arrived for every appointment scheduled....Her tone, energy and approach was beyond disrespectful! Nail services felt rushed. I except full responsibility for not being able to cancel a recent appointment within adequate time... However this is not the first time Lilly has been rude with her approach during service. Her behavior is inexcusable and completely unacceptable and for that reason I will not be returning for further services or recommending her as a technician at Glamour Nails. Today I went to the Glamour nail and spa and had very bad service. I was asking questions on how much each thing cost but yet looking at the sign . The sign saids one thing and Heidi saids another. She explained so many prices that wasnt on the board I ve gotten aggravated so I said whatever just give me this that and another. Then as she massaged my legs that was it ,her thumbs was digging in the meat of my legs I had to tell her stop and dont press hard with the thumb. Very clean. The prices are through the roof for basic nail jobs. The pedicures are a very good price and they're kind.

I can't say anything and about this place, except that their parking is a nightmare. I first came here last summer, when I had gotten an awful set of UV Gels somewhere else for way too much money. They fixed them exactly the way I wanted them for just $30. I've been back a few times and never had a bad experience - they just did my nails for my wedding! I came here to get my WEDDING nails done because I had gotten good service in the past, and left the salon almost in tears because I don't have time to get my wedding nails redone. I'm not sure if I just got assigned to a bad technician today (Tina), but after asking 3x for a french manicure after my red-polish pedicure, she proceeded to begin painting my fingers red before I had to stop her again to clarify for the fourth time that I wanted french tips. The tips were uneven, not clean, and I had to ask 3 different times for her to clean up the polish on the side of my nails. After my nails dried and I was ready to leave, I noticed some of my tips weren't even painted all the way and one of my middle finger nails had a squiggly tip. I asked for this to be fixed up, just for the receptionist to tell me Tina left already and no one is available to fix up a french manicure. I asked for a refund and all I got was the extra $5 for french manicure even though the whole manicure was subpar. I am now scrambling to find time to go to a different salon before tomorrow so I don't have to have sloppy nails for my own wedding. Very disappointed. ***UPDATE*** It is the night before my wedding now and the nail polish on 2 of my fingers has chipped already (it's been 24 hours since my manicure). I felt rushed from start to finish, I was picking out my polish for two minutes before the woman (very rude woman) doing my nails starred at me until I picked out my color. (They were not busy) She massaged my legs for maybe 15 seconds on each leg and acted as though I was annoying her by being in her presence through out the whole pedicure. Pedicure only lasted fifteen minutes. Then, I decided to go get a manicure (another bad choice) and this same woman huffed and puffed through out the whole service, had the most annoyed look on her face and proceeded to pick at my nails with the cuticle cutter until my nails were bleeding. Most definitely will not be back to this "spa". Update: less than 24 hours later my manicure has bubbled on the sides and resulted in peeling off. read more

I made my appointment a week before I wanted to get it done to ensure I didn't have to wait... The person that was supposed to do my nails showed up half an hour later. I think she forgot, because the woman opening the shop had to call her. Aside from that, everything went well. I had a spa pedicure and stiletto gel nails done. I asked for some tribal artwork for my toes and she did an awesome job. My manicure was also really nice. The total for both turned out to $100, not bad, since I also had jewels added to my nails. They have lasted awhile and no chipping... which is awesome. The only thing I didn't like was she applied the gel rather far from my cuticle, so it looked like already needed a filling when I left. But she was probably trying not to avoid baking the gel on my skin. The salon is clean and everything looks brand new. They have a huge selection of nail colors, to include the gel ones. Prices are reasonable! I would totally come again and recommend the place. The employees are nice and they make you feel like you are in your own little spa room, where you have your own TV and cubicle... pretty sweet! read more

They give 1/2 price discounts for services on your birthday (just show your ID) and they also give a discount if you pay in cash (atm inside building). CONS: Services are timed and it definitely feels rushed a lot. Especially the scrubs/massages. It's not as pampering as I have found at other places. I get gel nails and have gone twice now. They're okay. Not great. Designs are definitely lacking and I'm pretty disappointed with my current design. There is also a language barrier that makes being there a little uncomfortable. Way overpriced for a gel manicure that falls off in two days. As for the experience itself, the manicurist was very rough with my nails and rushed through the entire appointment. My full experience: I made an appointment for a gel manicure at 2pm, wasn't seen until 2:30... I wasn't in a rush or anything so it was fine and I understood. The woman who did my nails was not very friendly and was quite rough with my nails. The filing and pushing back my cuticles actually hurt. She nonverbally signaled me to put my hands under the UV light, hardly used her words at all. This may have been because of a language barrier between us, and I didn't have a problem with that, but I did have a problem with the impatience and the overall rushed nature of my appointment. The way she applied the base/nail polish/top coat seemed strange to me, she did it sporadically and kept putting on coat after coat and seemed really rushed. I had a feeling that because of the way she applied the polish the manicure wouldn't last very long... and I was right. I looked down this morning so see a gaping hole in my thumb nail polish and now I have to get a new manicure somewhere else. As a person who works in customer service I try to give the benefit of the doubt whenever possible but this was just awful. There are places where your money gets you a beautiful, high quality manicure that lasts a long time, and this is not one of them. Don't waste your $30 here. read more

I go almost every two weeks for a gel manicure (& sometimes I treat myself for a basic or spa pedicure). Although it is a little pricy- most nail places are going to have similar prices. It is super clean, they are always nice, and there is complimentary beverages by the door. I wish I could make appointments for Sundays (walk ins only) but there is usually not much of a wait. They will offer you the wifi password if you need it (which I a pretty sure it is their phone number) and I recommend creating an account with them. Every time you go for a service you get a percentage (depending on if you pay with cash or card the percentage varies). Overtime it adds up and you can put it towards a service, which comes in handy! Very clean, tons of colors, nice private rooms with massage chairs and tv. They are very up front with pricing; you are handed a menu when you arrive so you can easily see what you will be charged. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They did not seem at all bothered that my 7 year old son was with me, although he is very good when he comes with me. They offered him water or soda and patiently answered all his questions. The spa pedicure for $35 was very thorough, with scrub, mud, hot towels, and stones. Definitely got my money's worth. I did opt for the callus remover treatment for $3. I did not have an appointment, but was taken right away at about 10:30 a.m. on a Saturday. They do try to sell you additional services as you are on the chair; I was offered eyebrow waxing and a manicure. They aren't pushy, though. Glamor nail salon is really lovely , I went in on a Sunday at 1230 , I was told it would be about a half and hour. There's not really a waiting area , so I went across the street and came back about 20 minutes later and was told it would still be a little bit , I had to ask were to sit , wich was fine I didn't mind. I waited about 5/10 minutes and then went to a station I had Heidi , she was very nice and did a amazing job and did it very quickly and very well , they have TONS of colors to choose from, from nudes to neon to glitter and everything in between !! I could have spent a hour looking at colors alone . They also have a good selection of gel colors as well I just got a basic acrylic set with a pretty lilac shimmer shade I will definitely be back again , I think I may get a pedicure soon to They may be a few dollars more then other places but they definitely are well worth it, Pros: very very clean, very friendly staff, tons of colors, quick and well done Cons: no waiting area , maybe me waiting was rare , but it may be nice to have 2 or 3 chairs with a table to sit ar while u wait. While the spa itself is bright and clean, their practices leave much to be desired. I had gel nail color applied a few times and noticed that my nails were getting very weak. I consulted a website along with a couple other nail technicians in the area. I found out that while having gel polish is not harmful to nails in itself, the way the gel color is removed can be very bad for your nail beds. The method used at Glamour Nails is to soak the nails with remover for less than 5 minutes and FILE the remaining color off along with the top of your nails thin and weak. When I brought this up to my technician, she suggested that I not have gel nails and give my nails a "rest". I asked if I could come in earlier than my appt. and soak my nails for the correct 20 min and was told no. My nails are now in terrible shape and will take months to grow out the ridges and thin spots left from this filing. I have heard of others who had the same experience. read more

I've been frequenting Glamour Nails & Spa since December of 2015. I go for gel fills every three weeks and my nails have never looked better. Thuy has been doing nails for many years and I can truly say she is the best tech I have ever been to in more than 20 years of having artificial nails. She sculpts my nails to a lovely shape and applies the polish so that it doesn't touch my cuticle. This makes it so that the gel nails do not lift as they grow out. Her attention to detail is amazing. She is also very friendly and fun to talk to. It's convenient to make appointments online, and there is a rewards program by which you can earn rewards with each service. Tips are cash only. All the employees are friendly and very skilled.
