It's really a great workout too if you challenge yourself. Try and limit your dependency on holding the safety cord everywhere. It's exhilarating! The zip line is fun to try a few times. I'd say altogether we last 45 minutes, trying to enjoy everything. There's a smaller adventure area for little tykes. Some little ones will still have a fear of heights on that course too. Give it a try though. The staff are helpful and ensure everyone is comfortable, safe and following the rules. We've always enjoyed the adventure.

You have to meet a certain height (I think it's 48") to go on the main course. They also do have a kiddy course to the side for toddlers and such. Cost is $28 for the main course and $12 for the kiddy course. The wait wasn't too bad when we got there (~5min), but when we finished, the line was quite a bit longer. So plan accordingly.

On October 20, 1981, a three-year crime spree in the New York Metropolitan area came to an end at this site. Members of the Weather Underground, a radical domestic terrorist group, robbed a Brink's armored car at the Nanuet Mall. Using high-powered weapons, they stole 1.6 million dollars, and shot and killed security guard Peter Paige. At this entrance to the New York State Thruway, the Nyack Police Department set up a roadblock and was ambushed by the assailants. A fierce shootout ensued. As a reult, Sergeant Edward J. O'Grady Jr and Police Officer Waverly "Chipper" Brown were shot and killed. All the suspects were apprehended. Subsequent trials held in Goshen and White Plains led to their convictions." The 1981 Brink's robbery was an armed robbery and three related murders committed on October 20, 1981, which were carried out by six Black Liberation Army members: Mutulu Shakur, Kuwasi Balagoon, Solomon Bouines (Samuel Brown), Mtayari Shabaka Sundiata, Edward Joseph, and Cecilio "Chui" Ferguson; and four former members of the Weather Underground, now belonging to the May 19th Communist Organization, consisting of David Gilbert, Judith Alice Clark, Kathy Boudin, and Marilyn Buck. I walked in and had to find someone in order to make any sort of contact. I just wanted some prices, a general idea of the place. I was a new person coming to you for an impression and you left it. It was unremarkable. There was a mom sitting with her kid in the eating area by the door/window and maybe 2 kids playing in the place. And the person who I tried to talk to really seemed uninterested in my patronage... too bad. Basically this is a play place for kids that you pay and play and stay as long as you want but you can't bring in food from outside and I'm not sure about in-n-out privileges. You can buy a membership but it's basically like buying a coupon because it just discounts your next visits... boring. So perhaps I shall give this place a proper chance for my son to tear it apart, but not yet. I'll go ahead and take him to Finch Park for free right now.

This is a review for a birthday party!…read more We had a fantastic experience planning a birthday party for my son at JumpinJax. Shannon was fantastic to work with to iron out all the details and answered every question we had. Marleen was our day of person and she was great. All decor and set up was ready when we arrived and they set out all the birthday treats for us. This facility is a perfect birthday spot if your group ranges from babies to about 8 years old. We had a handful of tiny tots and mostly kids between 5-6 and it was perfect. Everyone had a great time and I saw staff actively walking around cleaning up the place and making sure to contain the chaos and look out for kids safety. It's definitely not a cheap place to have a kids party, but it was definitely worth it. My only negative feedback would be that the parking lot is tight and got crowded fast. A lot of our guest had to circle for a spot. The second feedback would be that they could definitely benefit from getting a better caterer. The pizza was pretty disappointing even by a kids standard and they all went for the fruit and veggie plates originally got for the adults. Otherwise it was great! I would definitely reconsider having another party here or bringing the kids on a rainy weekend. Thanks JumpinJax!
