Lovely smash burgers at Armistice Brewery parking lot. Ordered the single royal smash burger with a side of fries. They definitely load up the burgers and a healthy portion of fries, seasoned with generous salt! Meat is juicy and overall tasty burger! Such an excellent meal to pair with Armistice beers. I need to try the tots next time!

We stopped by Butter's burgers during our visit to Armistice Brewery for Monday happy hour. We ordered burgers and fries to enjoy with our beer. Everything was delicious! The burgers are a bit pricier but they are hefty! The meat party was juicy and delicious. I would definitely order again to enjoy with a beer.

I came in with high hopes for this burger, but it fell short. Between the upcharge for sauce, the burger price, and a separate charge for tater tots, my total hit around $35. The burger was oversalted and the tots were too salty as well. The setup is an outdoor food truck with pretty average service and outdoor seating. Might be fine after a few beers, but there are better burgers in the area. I personally wouldn't go back.

Bad reviews are hard for me but I have to do it. The Burger messed up my stomach. I eat the same breakfast everyday to avoid bad situations and know who or what to blame. The Burger did taste good. It's more of a $10 burger than a $15. There was no options to add jalapeños and raw onions. There was no list of what the sauce is made of. The water was warm and tasted like unfiltered tap water. These situations are rare but I just can't eat at places that my body rejects.

Best burger I've had in the east bay for this price point plus it's such a delight to be able to get a nice N/A beer from the brewery inside

Seems like a ton of money for what I thought was a good backyard style burger but nothing fancy. I think backyard style is the best description of the flavor. A bit dry. Not super juicy. They have a lot of interesting smash burger options, including a Trompo featuring Al Pastor. We got the Fat Boi, Trompo, and Highway Style fries. We waited longer than we expected, but good thing they have many monitors so we watched the World Cup while waiting for our food. When the food came, they were an impressive sight. The burgers were loaded and dripping with grease. My son liked his Fat Boi, but I thought the Al Pastor in the Trompo was a bit bland. The Trompo was also so greasy that grease was running down my hand and forearm while I am eating it, and I can feel my arteries hardening already! The Highway Style fries were decent. A smash patty laid between two layers of fries and then topped with melted cheese. It was decadent but a guilty pleasure. The kids gave the place 7-7.5 out of 10 and they said they would come back. For myself, probably not as the food was just too heavy for me.

There is no one in the place, there are four (high school aged) workers behind the counter. I stood there for a good minute. Not one came over to me. I moved over and got one of their attention since they were not going to come and assist (because you know, they were busy goofing off - there was no adult there). The order was NOT ready in fact, they didn't even make the fries. So they started the fries and I stood there while they were cooked. Why did you tell us it was ready when it wasn't remotely ready? I got my order and left, got home and realized the burrito wasn't there. I went all the way back and they said "we refunded the burrito, it's only served for breakfast" First off the menu does not say this. If it's only served during a certain part of the day THEN SAY IT ON THE MENU. Second, no one thought of letting anyone know it was refunded. Just did and went on about their day of goofing off. The people at the store there couldn't give a flying yahoo when I voiced my displeasure. The last couple times we've been here the service was almost non-existent and the orders are always messed up. And this was the last time. Management will read this and just laugh. They could not care at all. Time for poorly run businesses like this to be done.

What I don't understand is why I'm charged an additional $2.50 for the lettuce wrap when I'm not even getting the bun. If you're taking something away, what's the justification for adding an extra charge? I could understand a modest upcharge, but $2.50 for a few leaves of lettuce is hard to justify. I can buy an entire head of lettuce for about that price. What bothered me even more was that no one mentioned the charge when I placed my order. It wasn't until I picked up my food and saw the receipt that I realized I had been charged extra. Customers deserve to know about additional charges before they order, not after the fact. When I politely asked why there was a $2.50 charge, the employee simply looked at me and said, "I don't know." There was no explanation, no offer to ask someone else, and no attempt to address a perfectly reasonable question. That level of customer service was just as disappointing as the surprise charge. The burger was excellent, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. At this point, I don't plan on coming back. Or maybe I'll just bring my own lettuce next time. Better yet, just give me the burger without the bun, and I'll wrap the damn thing myself when I get home.
