Needless to say when the bill came, my bill was over $112 MORE and he had applied charges and an additional phone line I did not authorize and was never discussed with me while I was in the store. I called ATT customer service and talked to a representative on the phone who not only cleared up that mess, but she credited me for his errors and got me a better wireless plan too! They were very nice also. This is the second time I have had an issue with this store, but this was by far the worst and that is why I'm actually following through with filling a review. I rarely do file negative reviews, but how could I not when the man kept reassuring me about what a deal I was getting!

Received a statement that showed I did NOT get a free iPhone iWatch that was offered to me on July 23 by REGGIE. I went to the store today as instructed by AT&T Customer Service and the MANAGER told me he had to talk to REGGIE regarding the free iWatch that he offered to me and he is not here. HE IS THE MANAGER !!!! I was only able to get $183.40 off the $329.99 iWatch - for now. Thanks to AT&T Customer Service and NOT this store. So, not only did I get charged for Protect Advantage which I did not agree to - I was charged for the iWatch. Of course, their PRINTER did not work on the day I was there in July OR July 2022. I got a REPLY from the owner (or District Manager?) of this AT&T Store (see below) but I never received a reply as promised. I solved the issues in this review by myself. July 23, 2022. Watch out for REGGIE at this location. He had plenty of 'offers' but when I received my Customer Service Summary from MyAT&T it had the Protect Advantage ($17/month) which I said I did not want and AT&T Next Up ($6/month) which I was not even told about !!! I am thankful for the main AT&T Customer Service for explaining what will happen to my billing cycle each month - which will take THREE MONTHS to adjust any discounts/credits/mistakes.

I stood in the middle of the store for approximately 30 minutes with a line forming behind me, and during that time no one acknowledged us or explained what the process was for receiving assistance. There was no greeting, no check-in, and no direction about where customers should go or how the queue was being managed. I ended up speaking with the customers behind me, and they were just as confused about what to do, where to go, or who to speak with. They mentioned they were simply trying to purchase a pair of AirPods, while I was just there to pick up an online order. None of us were sure if we were in the right place or waiting in the correct way because no one had acknowledged the line or provided any direction. Eventually an employee asked if I had been helped. When I explained that I had been waiting for about half an hour, several employees immediately came over. That response suggested the issue wasn't necessarily staffing, but rather a breakdown in floor awareness and queue management. What made the situation more uncomfortable was overhearing an employee respond to another customer in a somewhat condescending tone, saying something along the lines of "it's not like we're just standing around doing nothing, everyone's busy." I completely understand that retail environments get busy -- I work in retail myself -- but when customers have been waiting that long without acknowledgment, comments like that can come across as dismissive. A simple greeting, explanation of the check-in process, or someone managing the queue would have prevented most of the confusion and frustration. I'm sharing this feedback in hopes that it helps improve the customer experience, because the Apple Store is typically known for a much higher standard of service.

I REALLY did not want to buy a new one, but was almost resigned to it, fearing it was water damaged. I thought we'd at least get a repair person's opinion. A lot of reviews I read of other shops said they'd been charged a LOT for diagnosing the problem and I was not interested in that. I came across the Yelp page for The Phone Doctor in Kirkwood and it sounded like they offered diagnostics for free. I made an appointment (easily done through their website) and went into the shop. Parking on that Saturday afternoon was super easy with plenty of space in the free lot behind their building and even several spaces on Jefferson just adjacent. I handed the phone over the counter and before it was out of my hand the technician said, "Needs a new screen." I was skeptical, but a second tech looked over his shoulder and agreed. They quoted me $125 and 15 minutes, I said, "Deal!" I was out the door with a working phone in about 10 minutes, in which time I ordered a heavy duty case so we don't end up repeat customers too soon. Could not be happier!
