This place is solid for drunk food, nothing that's gonna really wow you but definitely decent food for a good price.

Enjoyed an amazing breakfast yesterday at Buzz Inn in cute Granite Falls. We were staying down the road at Paca Pride Alpaca Ranch and had the Buzz Inn recommended to us by one of the owners, David. We shared the regular (not "Bigfoot") portion of a chicken fried steak breakfast and it was huge and delicious. The hash brown potatoes were the perfect combo of soft and crunchy. The chicken fried steak was nicely breaded and the steak was very tender. We also enjoyed what we agreed was one of the best Belgian waffles we've ever had. Tender, tasty with vanilla flavor, and very yummy. Coffee and soda refills were timely. Service was friendly and prompt. It took a little time for breakfast to arrive but we were comfortable and warm and didn't mind at all. Highly recommended! read more

I was finally back in Washington and had a chance to come by and eat at the Buzz lnn again. When I came in to order I was greeted by the friendly waitress at the counter and I placed my order for the New York steak. The steak came out real quick about 10 minutes later and the plate had everything I ordered on it including the chili which was fantastic. The steak was also very good and tender and I enjoyed the seasoning on it. I had brought my sister with me and she said her New York steak was excellent also. The Waitress was very friendly and had come by our table twice to make sure everything was good and we enjoyed our meal. All in all there was quite an improvement of the service and the taste of the food since I was here last time. I look forward to visiting the Buzz Inn ag as in in the future. read more

Oh my word. If I could base this review solely off the food, it would be a 5 star all the way! Unfortunately for the Buzz, there are people involved in the process of eating at a restaurant. It's sort of weird as you walk in and order at the counter, pay for the food (if you're a tip-by-service person like I am, I would not put a tip on the receipt and plan to tip cash on the table) then go sit at a table. The lady at the front counter seemed as if it were her first day, but she knew nearly everyone who came through the door by name. She didn't know the menu though, and had to ask multiple questions to the other waitress from whom she mostly got a blank stare. Cook time was pretty good and our food came to the table correct and hot. However, the waitress didn't say a single word. Not "is there anything else I can get you" or anything. Just sat the food down and walked away. This was the same response when she came to pick up our plates after we were finished. I guarantee there would be a rise in ratings and sales with a few attitude and/or personnel changes. It's not hard to be good at customer service so I'm not sure how the place has managed to find 2 women to work the same shift who are terrible at it. read more

We were up in town visiting friends this weekend, open to a longer visit for breakfast. We placed our order. After waiting 90 minutes with no food, but watching larger parties than us that came in after us get served over and over again, we checked on our food. They said 5 minutes. Another half hour passes, at this point 2 hours from when us 3 people ordered food, they admitted they didn't have our order, blamed the new girl for not submitting the order, nevermind it was an experienced person that told us 5 minutes, and offered us free desert to compensate for our inconvenience. Apparently before 4pm it is order at the counter and seat yourself (which is fine) however it didn't state that and the only sign we did see said to please wait to be seated... We waited for 5 minutes. The staff saw us there and said nothing. At that point I went to inquire and the waitress told me it was order at the counter. She was completely unapologetic and was fairly rude. I can tolerate alot of things but this was a bit to much for me so we left. It was disappointing because our previous experience was okay. This place should really be called "Buzz Inn Diner," because that's really the title it's deserving of. A place that calls itself a steakhouse should be able to serve a decent steak. I went to this Buzz Inn on a Saturday night with my wife and parents. Three of us ordered steaks while my dad ordered their "seafood combo." None of the food impressed us. In fact, all the steaks were just luke warm upon reaching our table. My steak was cooked well done despite asking for a medium - medium well. I brought this to my waitress's attention, and she explained that a medium-medium well steak should be cooked throughout. I was dumbfounded by her lack of knowledge of steaks. After a few more exchanges, it was obvious it was futile and I just settled with eating my shoe leather. Besides their inability to cook a steak properly, the rest of the food was blah...my dad's seafood combo obviously came from a bag of frozen fried fish and shrimp. My wife's chili tasted like a can of Hormel. My "grilled shrimp skewer" were six lightly grilled pre-cooked cocktail shrimp that was cold upon arriving our table. There were just so many things wrong with our experience that we didn't feel like it was worth our efforts to explain the problems. We just ate the food and promptly left. This restaurant should be on an episode of Food Network's "Restaurant Impossible." Their poor food quality, service crew's lack of food knowledge, and their inability to cook a decent steak are incredible. Oh, and their bathroom wreaked of urine and looks like it hadn't been serviced all day. Maybe it was because it was shared with a bar connect to the same building. Buzz Inn? I live right down the road, so it's easy for me to come here when it's only a few minutes away. I have been here four times, and every single time I've had the worst service possible. I honestly won't ever be coming back. All the staff are very rude and don't even respond to your question. I asked one of the waitresses how big a certain item was and her response was, "I don't know? Look at the picture". We stop by to get some breakfast today and my friend wanted to go to Buzz'Inn . He ordered the taco salad and I ordered the Loggers Special. This restaurant is located in Everett. This inside of the restaurant is kinda dark and very old fashion. The booth we were sitting were very tight. Anyway the server came and took our orders. She wanted to know how I want my eggs to be done, and I said I wanted them sunny up but very lightly cook. So when my order came, I noticed them eggs were way over cooked. This order came with bacon, sausage patty, and thick ham with bone. From the look of this order it was well worth it. But again my eggs were over cooked and the ham was too salty and that goes with the sausage as well. I would say them bacons were cooked pretty good. The hashbrown was a little mushy. So overall my order of this Loggers Special wasn't good at all. I ate 1 side of the toast with jam, some of the eggs, a couple pieces of ham and sausage patty & the rest of the bacons. From the picture you can see how them eggs got cooked. I always like my eggs cook very lightly and since there were hash brown. I would put my eggs on top of the hash brown & mix then together. Food is mediocre and the portions leave much to be desired. Last time I ordered carry out for some breakfast, I got like 3 bites of hashbrowns. I looked in the container and was very disappointed with the portion. Go to a lot of places and you get a giant helping of potatoes so I was definitely surprised. This is really a decent cheapo breakfast place. It's not amazing but if you want to go out and get a quick diner breakfast without a big price tag, Buzz Inn is a good bet. I used to like this place. No more. I ordered a dinner breakfast while sitting in the bar and continuously had to get someone to fix the many mistakes. Medium rare steak was well done and when they recooked it it was blue-rare. Yuk! When we sent that one back, the third steak was again overdone to a med well. The sourdough toast was not toasted. We asked for grape jelly...they gave us strawberry. There was no silverware or condiments, and we had to ask and finally get it ourselves. The next time we came in and ordered steak and eggs the hashbrowns were deep fried and greasy. Like eating potato straws...not appetizing. We eat at a sister restaurant and the food and service are perfect every time. What is wrong with this picture? I will not be wasting my time, money, and tips at this place anymore. Very slow service for mediocre food. We went in there last night to eat for the first time. I was terribly unimpressed. The dining room was nearly empty, leaving no reason for us to be seated in what appeared to be the only booth in the place not clean. So of course we stood there as the hostess ran to get a rag and proceed to wipe the crumbs all over the seat. (I wiped the seat myself) The place was nearly empty, but I guess everyone was in the bar as there was a football game on and the screaming was obnoxious. ( I wonder now how many employees were in there watching instead of doimg their job.). After nearly 45 minutes waiting for our food (a breakfast order, a taco salad, and a steak dinner) our server came to tell us the cooks were going to work "fast" on our food because "her order never printed out". Mind you, not ONE PERSON came to check on the dining room the entire time we were waiting. All I would have asked for was a sincere apology from the server, but received nothing. If I were in the service industry, knowing I messed up, the least I would do is offer to bring an appetizer for the wait. It was nearly an hour before we finally ate. 5 stars are putting people first! I haven't eaten here, I came in for tea. I was waiting for my car to get a windshield replaced and found out I had to sit for two hours in a freezing room with no comforts for the customer. After an hour of freezing I walked into this place and the lady at the counter was sooooooo nice, she turned on the fireplace for me and got me tea with lemon and honey. We were disappointed with the service on Father's Day. 1) After placing order and one salad arrived, we had to get silverware and napkins to eat with. They were never given. 2) after food came my salad never did. I had to request My salad and lemon that I had asked for. 3) My Father could not cut through his steak, knife was dull and/or meat was not very good. This was my second time in 3-months to go to that same place. I personally will not go back. Granted it was busy because of Father's day but the wait for people was nuts. I really did enjoy myself at this buzz inn, good food, friendly service, it was great. I grabbed the Swiss dip half pounder and was not displeased and the Dippin juice was crazy good. The prices have gone up a little recently which causes buzz inn to become a every so often treat instead of a once a week thing but always delicious. read more
