I get this place five stars. I have come here quite a few times and I absolutely love it if you're in the Alderwood mall area I suggest you try this place. You won't be disappointed. I also love their employees. They're very nice and they get your food to you on time you also have to try the onion petals here. They're absolutely wonderful, they have great parking and the food does not break your wallet. Also, it is fucked up to the Alderwood mall so you can go shopping after you finish your great dinner or lunch.

I was in Lynwood on other business and decided to check out the Alderwood Mall. Since it was lunchtime and I was hungry, my first stop was the food court! I found that the restaurant was Blazing Onion Burgers. I had never been to one, so I decided to eat there today. When I entered the restaurant I was greeted by a nice young lady and she explained that there were two seating areas. To the right was a dining area and patrons would place their order with her and then find a table to relax at in the dining area. Or, to the left was a lounge area that offered full service. I opted for the lounge area. When I entered the lounge area I received another friendly greeting from the bartender and asked for my drink choice and was presented with a menu. After looking over the menu, I chose the Texas Heat burger and the Spicy Cajun Fries. The burger was quite tasty and VERY juicy! I was supplied with a stack of paper napkins and I was very thankful for that because I needed almost all of them I was very disappointed with the Spicy Cajun Fries though . I have very particular tastes when it comes to fries. My fries have to be hot, crispy, and tasty. These fries were not hot nor were they crispy. They did have a nice flavor thanks to the seasoning used. I would probably return often if I didn't live an hour and a half away! I just wouldn't order the fries, especially when I noticed I wasn't the only one passing on them after trying one or two.

Always awesome. The food here is amazing. Definitely highly recommended. I orders the spicy black bean burger with fries sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. Amazing (pic later) it's always full and the customer service is always good as well. Shannon is always aqua a so is the rest of the team members. You can order take out or dine in. Either way you will be happy. My favorite go to restaurant for black bean burgers and they have gluten free items as well. Delicious

Decent spot to get burgers, the burger patty was just okay. The toppings on the burger was pretty good, bun was okay. Flavors were great, bacon was alright, pretty chewy. Service was great! Their cocktails were good. Fries were soggy and cold but had good flavor. Onion rings were great.

Let me start off by saying this could easily turn into a 5-star review after a few more visits. It was a little intimidating to try for the first time, as the outside really gave me the appearance of being along the lines of a nicer fast-food joint (I was thinking like Smash Burger or Five Guys), but that thought quickly went away when we walked inside. Ultimately, the set-up was confusing for a first timer, but not something I want to hold against the restaurant since it turned out so well. You make an order at the front counter, paying ahead unless you ask to keep a tab open, and then find a seat in what looks like a nicer family sit-down area. It's not a big open space, but a winding seating area with a full service bar towards the front. As you seat yourself and place the number at the end of the table, the concern was whether the waiter would have an easy time finding your table. For us it turned out fine, but we didn't get a chance to try out the call buttons at the end of the table, we didn't end up needing anything more and paid ahead so we didn't need to ask for a check. I will say it was pretty nice to pay ahead and have the freedom to just leave afterwards. Now, the food. There's really not much to say outside of absolutely delicious. I walked in almost wishing not to like it so I wouldn't have to come back to the explained set-up, so I certainly was not ready for the amazing food we were served. The garlic fries were absolutely addicting and the burgers just melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I'll be dreaming of my next burger from here!

My wife and I ate here because it was close to the AMC theatre at the Alderwood Mall. I am sure glad this restaurant was the closest restaurant to us. I ordered the bacon Cheeseburger and opted for the side salad instead of fries. This is one of the best burgers I have ever tasted loaded with flavor, perfectly cooked, and dripping with grease just like an old fashioned burger from the 50's and 60's when flavor really mattered. The service was friendly and outstanding. The is a sports bar but a family friendly restaurant too. They have other locations but unfortunately, the closest location to where we live is Marysville. I do know the next time we are in the area, we will be sure to eat at Blazing Onion.

If you miss Claim Jumper that was across the street, you'll be happy that the vibe here is quite comparable. Their mocha mud pie takes you back. No pot pie, but burgers and apps were on an even level.

Why is the patio 21 and over only?

We only have one patio at Alderwood and it’s part of the bar. The mall had its own outdoor seating area, and conveniently it’s just outside of our front entrance.

It's just the right vibe, the drinks are strong, and the bartenders are attentive and nice. My grandma also likes this bar and she doesn't drink but she likes to go here for her birthday which typically happens to be on Super Bowl Sunday. They never complain about her coming in early to "set up" a table and they never make her feel weird which I really appreciate because I mean she brings like board games and stuff to a bar and doesn't drink so it is a bit odd but glad the staff make her feel welcome. Even on Super Bowl Sunday, the staff checks on us like every 10 minutes, no matter how busy it is. They don't pressure you to get a drink or food but they do offer which is also something I very much appreciate. Aside from all of this, I once had someone tell me this place has the best clam chowder and I was thinking "......? Ew?? Clam chowder from a bar??" Well I still have never tried the chowder, but I can tell you the Ruben is fire and you should definitely get one. I like mine dipped in au jus. I can say that the vibe/customers inside can vary, since I don't go as frequently it may have changed but there's definitely regulars as well as people from different age ranges. They've got a nice dart set up, lots of seating, pool tables, and a very large bathroom (good mirror to take pictures in the ladies room) Definitely don't pass this place up if you're looking for a good sandwich, nice bartenders, chill vibes, and good drinks. I would recommend coming around like 9 or 10 because parking can fill up, but typically you can still find a spot to squeeze into even if you get there later. I have started and ended my night here and never regretted it lol

Kitchen is serving great pub grub. In long This one hovered in my mind between 4 and 5 stars for a while. It's not quite a basic place, but they maybe could live with being called that. Bottom line, even if it's not for absolutely everyone, the people who come in and enjoy it won't feel like anything's missing at all, so it's five stars. You pull up to kind of a crummy parking lot in front of kind of a crummy-looking strip mall, and you walk through a heavy security door. Nothing looks or feels fancy from outside. Inside, though, everything's clean and well lit. All the furniture is well made; there are lots of custom booths and the light fixtures all match. You don't feel a sense of luxury, but they built this place from the ground up, they built it right, and it's a nice antidote to the exterior vibe. There are at least a dozen huge flatscreens up around the room, at least downstairs. Evidently there's a whole upstairs that we didn't even check out. There aren't a ton of sports decorations, they keep it tidy--but the TVs are showing sports news or the game. This place must get thumping for big games. I can't even imagine trying to park those days. You get a warm greeting right away, with menus on your table in seconds. The menu is a lot of dependable old pub-grub favorites. Pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, chips, rings, fries, and so on. Thing is, they put a lot of thought and effort into each one, kinda going for bragging rights for the best in town on lots of simple dishes. They make the onion rings in house, I'd bet. You can add garlic and parmesan to your chips. The sandwiches are built right with plenty of filling. Prices are competitive, and you will definitely get full. Some people who love to eat love pub grub, and some of those people built the menu and designed the recipes here. We had a couple rounds of cocktails, and all of them did the trick. Made well, served right, good balance of sweetness, good flavors. If this place were a little closer we'd be here a lot.

Daughter went with the Carnivore pizza with thin crust - you can choose thin or regular crust. I had the fish & chips--with tots instead of fries. Both the fish and tots were super crispy, just how I like them. The slaw had a nice tang, and the house-made tartar sauce was on point. I live maybe 1.5 miles away, so I just wanted to order online and not have to pay a service to deliver that to me...that didn't seem to be an option. So, I drive there and the hostess / only waitress tonight (who was actually very nice) said "oh, you could have just called in and we can take the order on the phone" (well, that would have been nice to list on the website, but whatever. Then, I placed my order (for only 2 people). Personal pizza, chicken ceasar and tots. The other was a burger and tots. Now mind you, there were only 3 other tables with people eating in the entire place. She told me it would only take 15 minutes to get my food, so I go back to my car to wait, then at the 15 minute mark it wasn't done...not even close. I ended up waiting a total of 40 minutes for my food! Whenever I've been here before the food is decent, and sure...I expect to wait a little bit when it's busy, but I think the cooks were more concerned about getting out on time than cooking food! I hardly ever post reviews because I feel like it doesn't really matter anyway...but this was just too terrible of an experience to not share. I guess I'll have to budget 30 minutes the next time I want to order something here!
