We went to Bonefish on a Wednesday evening. It wasn't too crowded. We chose to sit in the dining room. It's spacious and clean as always. The one thing I noticed is the upholstery in the booths is getting ratty. I looked at other booths too and they all need replacing. I guess that's a good thing Lots of asses in the seats makes for good business. I had the scallop scampi linguine. It was good. Of course we had the bang bang shrimp too. Mrs Billy D had their encrusted pork chop with potatoes and asparagus (plus 2 Lemon Drops) which she loved. Our server was wonderful. I didn't get her name but she had bright red colored hair. We order food from here at least once a week and it is always delicious! I have tried the sea bass, salmon, and pork chop and all are outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Bonefish Grill. Long on my dinner radar, I finally visited on a recent Saturday night with my daughter. The ambiance was casual and comfortable, and we were seated quickly. We started the meal with their famous warm bread and olive oil, which we munched on while waiting for our delish calamari appetizer. I really liked the spicy dip that came with the calamari. Next up were the main courses. My daughter had an entree sized caesar with grilled salmon, which she reported was quite tasty. I enjoyed surf 'n turf - a perfectly grilled sirloin steak with grilled shrimp, plus a tasty heap o' buttery mashed potatoes and some (fairly basic) steamed veggies. There we're definitely pros and cons to this place. They had specials which I ordered from. But let's start at the beginning. The bread with the herb and oil dip was good as always. I ordered the "Fried Pumpkin Ravioli" appetizer and the "Fresh Caught Salmon" with the Bacon Mac 'n Cheese. The ravioli was deep fried. Completely ruining what could have been a good appetizer. Instead it was a greasy, flavorless crunchfest. The salmon was cooked well and the butter/lemon sauce was good, just a bit too much of it. The mac 'n cheese was more like noodle soup. read more

My wife decided that she wanted to give this restaurant another chance, we'd had a meal when they opened a few years back and while the the food was ok the service was I don't know " different/ distant " anyway tonight was way better. From the minute we entered the restaurant we were greeted and asked if tonight was a special night which it was, my wife's birthday. We had made reservations but had showed up early, wasn't happening at the casino,but no problem we got a booth right away. We were handed off from the hostess to our waitress who quickly brought out water and bread and oil to keep us occupied while we checked out the menu. We had already done some pre scouting earlier in the day so we ordered the Corn and Lump crab chowder as our appetizer and were surprised when it arrived we also got a serving of their Bang Bang Shrimp cause it was my wife's birthday no charge very nice thank you, it was delicious a little too spicy for my wife though more for me! Our entrees were the Pork Tenderloin with mango salsa for my wife and I chose the Cod Imperial. We both chose the whipped garlic potatoes with seasonal vegetables as our sides. While we waited for our meals to arrive we had a couple of cocktails for the bar my wife got her usual a greyhound and I went with one of their signature cocktail the smoked Woodford old fashioned these arrived quickly mine had a smoke filled glass on top of the drink that once you lift off dissipates but does impart a slight smoky accent to the bourbon really nice. We got to talk a bit while we waited and enjoy some of the bread and oil that you get as soon a you are seated like I said it's been awhile since we had been there so taking a look around the decor is reminiscent of you typical steak/seafood restaurant the bar is pretty good size and has a couple televisions on showing some football games but the bar wasn't loud which was nice. We were finishing our chowder when our entrees arrived, also a refill of the water bottle we appreciate that. Both plates looked appetizing not huge but also not small portions. My cod was so good I almost forgot to get some pictures oops not the best. My wife really liked the pork tenderloin and sides but after the shrimp and chowder she ended bringing some home but not me I cleaned up everything might have over ate a little bit I'll have to hit the treadmill a little bit more. So had a way better experience than before so I'm sure we'll be back! read more

Visiting family in the area, and Bonefish is a nice place to bring people with varied tastes, because the menu has a decent variety, and the food is not too expensive. The only downside is that we had a larger group, and some of the plates arrived to the table lukewarm. I suppose they held some plates to serve them all together. read more

I'm not big on chain restaurants. I never even heard of this one until my cousin Greg suggested we meet here for dinner. So, despite it being a chain, it wasn't bad. We ordered the soup of the day which I liked. It was a creamy tomato with lumps of crab. I wish they had said it also has bacon crumbles in it. I'm not much of a meat eater, and would have preferred not to have it. Next time I'll be sure to tell them. We also ordered several appetizers. Mussels in a very tasty sauce, fried calamari, & crab cakes. Surprisingly, it was enough to fill 4 adults! Well I haven't eaten at a Bonefish Grill in a long time. The food was great as was the service. The prices were a bit high. It ended up being $300 for 4 adults and 1 child. I could have fed us all at home for a week for that kind of money. I know the prices of everything have gone up but the amount of people going out to eat has gone done because of it. I had never been to Bonefish or its other locations. I most likely won't come back, to this location or otherwise, but there were some good things here. The food: I came with a party of 4. We all loved the bread with the oil and herb dip. It cleverly came in a dish that allowed both sides of two to have their own bread to tear apart, and we both had separate oil. We ordered the seared sashimi tuna. I thought it was pretty good, despite the fact that I believe it had been previously seared and then refrigerated, as it came out almost instantly and the surface wasn't warm at all. I ordered the cod imperial. It wasn't great! The cod surrounding the "stuffed" portion was dry, and I'm still not sure what the stuffed seafood was. All I know is that the sauce was overpowering and reminded me a lot of Big Mac sauce. Two others tried it and instantly said it tasted like mayo. But my steamed veggies and garlic mashed potatoes were both spot on. Two others had the shrimp and scallop scampi, on special. They liked it well enough, nothing special. The scallops were pretty small, but there was a decent amount. Our last member had the mushroom Marsala ribeye, also on special. He requested medium rare, but it came out rare, and he described it as "tough and chewy", but otherwise liked his meal. None of this is great when you're paying around 30 bucks a plate! The cocktails were decent. I had a smoked old fashioned. They took their time and the oak smoke flavor made for one of the better versions of a smoked cocktail that I've had. The old fashioned itself didn't taste too much like an old fashioned but it was still enjoyable. The Parker's Margarita was just ok, not a standout margarita. They made my wife's Arnold Palmer perfectly and another whisky drink came out fine. Our server was very nice, but the experience was rough. Right away, she spilled water on the table and seat. I didn't realize this, but when our 4th came back from the bathroom, he sat in the water (none of us had saw it reach the seat). The cocktails took a long time to come out. And then about 10 minutes after ordering our entrees, our server came back to tell us that they were out of mussels, so that delayed everyone's food a while longer while someone changed their order to the scampi. To their credit, they gave her a free dessert for the trouble. Once the entrees came, we had to request enough silverware and napkins for everyone. As I said, the steak was cooked incorrectly. One of the scampi's was supposed to come out with no tomatoes, it had tomatoes and the cook who brought it out threw the server under the bus (which wasn't the first time an employee threw another under the bus while we were there to us; not a great look). So overall, seems to be some issues there, but not for lack of effort from what I could tell. The restaurant decor is modern, darkly lit and on the fancier side. I thought the ambiance was nice. The tables have parchment paper covering them, which others have complained about. I don't think it matches the feel of the restaurant, but I can see how it's convenient in a seafood restaurant. There's a lot of great seafood places in Western Washington, locally owned as well. For the price, I think you can do a bit better than Bonefish. read more

This place is located right off of I5 in the same shopping complex as Dicks Sporting goods. I came here on a Sunday night and there were hardly any customers. The service was prompt and courteous and the wait for food was a reasonable 12 minutes. The place provides unlimited bread and olive oil while the entrees are being made. The soup of the day was corn chowder with crab meat for $6.95 a bowl. For me, the soup was over-seasoned. The other entrée I tried was the fish tacos, which was unfortunately cold and soggy. The saving grace were the appetizers bang bang shrimp and calamari, at 4-stars a piece. They were crunchy with good flavor, but nothing to really reminisce about. read more

I really enjoy this restaurant. The first time I had gone, was for a yelp event for elites and it was AMAZING. So good that I have since gone back multiple times! Parking: Parking lot, plentiful. The first time I went, I was able to eat gluten. Now due to allergens I am no longer able to eat gluten, however they have plentiful of gluten free options, including the flour-less macadamia nut brownie. It is a nice restaurant, kinda dressy but if you went last minute in your jeans, you would be fine. This is a good place for celebrating an anniversary, or another milestone. It's my first visit here, and I was not disappointed, ordered Crab Cakes Rainbow Trout, and Copper River Salmon. Crab cakes were pretty good, unlike most restaurants it was mostly crab, a little bland but delicious and good consistency. The Copper River Salmon special, came in a bed of gnocchi and topped with feta cheese, unusual combination but worked well together. The (boneless) Rainbow trout was pan fried open and choice of two sides, in my case mashed potatoes and mac & cheese, trout was perfectly cooked, mashed potatoes were good, and Mac &a cheese excellent. 3 out of 3 in a chain restaurant is a rarity, I was very pleased with the food and service, and would definitely go back if I am in the area. My husband and I had dinner here. He got a chicken teriyaki bowl and said it was all right. It was $21.90. I got grilled shrimp with lime rice and mashed potatoes. The rice and potatoes were OK, lacked flavor. The shrimp was simply grilled with some kind of salsa on it, but very bland still. That was $24.90. We shared a slice of coconut pie which was really good, served with some whipped cream and toasted coconut on the crust. They gave us some bread with olive oil, and my husband said it was good. I didn't try the bread. The servers we had were in chef's jackets, and they were really lost on what tables ordered what and gave my husband's side salad to another table. They also took forever to take our order and bring us our drinks. The hostess rolled her eyes at us when we came in and told her the party we were meeting there. Not good. Then she couldn't be bothered to walk us all the way to our table and had no one else waiting to be seated. Bonefish Grill shares space with Outback, which includes the restrooms. The ladies room was clean. They have a TV in the bar area. There's a regular dining area then a private room with a projector and screen. It gets pretty loud. The table and chairs are nice. Bang bang shrimp always our fave on thurs paired with bottle of wine $25. Had there bourbon glazed pork chop w mashed. Very yummy at $21.5. Hubby had rockefeller Maui, evening special at $28. A very large portion of Maui topped with huge amt of creamed spinach. Both prepared very very good but needed a magnifying glass to find crab (why bother).
