Came here to watch the Seahawks game. I sat in the bar area which had plenty of TV's, this place is a good dive bar. It seemed like a lot of the patrons were regulars which is typical. Location is right off evergreen way, there is parking in the back. I imagine this could get full quick but I found a spot just fine. Drinks are nice and stiff. I got their hamburger melt which may be my favorite melt I have ever had. Perfectly juicy and the bread was fresh and perfectly crispy. One dunk into the aus jou and it held the liquid. Another huge plus is that during the game, it was buy one, get one. Pricing is very reasonable for it as well so the double is crazy good. The fries are freshly cut. For what it is, it's alright. There are definitely some items that are better than the others (especially with such an extensive menu). I've ordered the Benedict with hash browns which are one of their better items. I wasn't a huge fan of their regular breakfast though. I ordered the O'Brien potatoes but they're really greasy and just topped with tons of onions and green peppers. The eggs were oily and definitely needed salt. My first intuition was to blame my boyfriend...he must have ordered from the wrong place so I call him and he sends me the confirmation with the address. I go back in and show the waitress thinking we would figure out what happened and clear it up. At worst, I would have to wait while they made the food cause the order got lost in translation or something. The waitress was VERY CLEARLY annoyed that I was questioning her and after trying to ignore me and help people behind me said "I TOLD U WE ONLY HAVE AN ORDER FOR SPENCER!" I show her the confirmation thinking OKAAAAY maybe she had a bad morning. Once she finds my order she changes it to your order was already picked up SORRY with more unnecessary attitude than u r imagining right now. Ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast from Uber Eats and this it was not nearly as good as the Mill Creek location which I've been to many times. Nothing was especially good and the steak itself tasted old. I'm not talking a few hours old, but more like a day or two old. The kind of old where the meat feels dehydrated. Hubby enjoyed his Fish n (Onion Rings) I asked for a turky sandwich with white meat, without tomato, and potato salad as my side. When I opened the box, I could tell just by looking the bread was stale around the edges and overloaded with lettuce. Today Pattys egg nest took very good care of me! I have eaten the patties over on 128th before and ordered various things from Door Dash. This was my first time calling into the local one on Evergreen. When I called and I was asking for a liver and onions. A very nice young lady explained to me that they only serve them on Tuesday through Saturday after 3 PM as a dinner. She then proceeded to yell out to Paul the Chef in the back and ask him if he was willing to make me a meal. She said come on in. I came in and had one of the best meals I've had a really long time. This place has a really hometown feel. There's a bar right next-door but you can tell the people that come here come here every day. It felt like coming to moms house and getting some delicious cooked food that just really brightened your day and reminded you that there's good people in the world. Hidden gem! Who knew a breakfast joint, had a tucked away bar in the back. Like stepping into a time loop. The bartender is friendly, hilarious and makes the best drinks. I was staying in the Everett area for an interview, and I needed some tasty brunch-esque places. I had to narrow my search by what was "Open Now" (since I woke up so late), and I'm so glad I came across this place. Talk about greasy spoon central! Be still my half-beating, myocardial infarction heart! I went with the seasons pumpkin pancakes with bacon, and I substituted country potatoes instead of eggs. Holy shizz! These pancakes were MASSIVE and came with a huge, Mongo-sized dollop of their signature Devonshire creme. *DROOL-O-RAMA* The pancakes were HEAVENLY. Just the right amount of pumpkin taste so as to not be overly sweet. And soft!!! The bacon was PERFECT. Thick-sliced, salty goodness not too fatty or overcooked. I could have probably eaten 10 more slices if my stomach would have allowed it. The potatoes were good, too, although probably my least favorite part of the meal. They weren't bad...just run-of-the-mill hashbrown potatoes. The waitresses here are super sweet and attentive. I sat at a huge booth by myself (in the middle of the day), and they were on top of refilling my coffee and making sure that I was happy. It seemed like a lot of locals and regulars come here, which is a nice feeling. My family has been coming here for several weeks and the food and service has been good. However, today it was not. I ordered a Cinnamon Roll and the server brought it way before anyone else's food. So they have street parking in the front of the restaurant & behind the building where the restaurant is. We went for a later lunch - so it wasn't too busy & we were seated immediately. She asked us what we wanted to drink & gave us some time to look over the menu. I ordered the California Eggs Benedict which is regular Eggs Benedict but with Avocado and Tomato. It came with honey-glazed bacon which I gave away. It came with a good helping of hash browns that come on the side. It was good :) Anything with avocado is yummy. first visit to this local favorite chain at 12:30 pm on a sunday. what were we thinking? the restaurant was packed. approaching the front desk was a hassle since there was a line of 3 trying to pay their bills, clogging up the single narrow hallway access, but it was all good. everyone: departing guests, arriving guests and the cashier were all jolly and happy. breakfast is served all day. no more than a 10 minute wait to be seated and we were attended to almost immediately upon seating. there is a brunch buffet on sundays for $9.99 with scramble eggs, bacon, sausage and gravy. we opted to order from the menu. Veggie scramble: eggs were declared fluffy and good. i am tempted to order a scramble on the next visit. Country Benedict: poached eggs on top of spicy sausage pattys on top of toasted english muffin. i asked for the gravy on the side instead of poured over the eggs. i asked for soft poached eggs, but they were almost hard. the sausage gravy was good, but did not have alot of sausage and it was a bit bland for my taste. Hashbrowns: outstanding. the shredded hashbrowns were squared off but not patted down so much that the potatoes were dense as a brick.. the outside was crispy and the inside was fluffy and light. the hashbrowns had a great buttery flavor. they were almost a great as the dearly lately departed hashbrowns at Palominos in bellevue. i am still mad at them for having discontinued the shredded buttery hashbrowns. veggie scramble, country benedict, 1 orange juice, 1 coffee : $31.00+ all in all a very satisfying and filling late breakfast. will not hesitate to stop there again. read more

My rating is actually 2.5 Stopped in this morning with a friend of mine for breakfast while her car was in the shop temporarily down the road Promptly seated but our greeting was far less than friendly by anyones standard. The place was 20% full at best so they should've not had any problem with enough staff on hand. Finally had waters and coffee and everything brought to us and placed our order. it was breakfast not too difficult to place an order and get your food brought to you you would think. I just got a really bad overall vibe about the place it was really dingy and crappy looking inside all the waitresses just really seen disinterested and completely not into even pretending to be happy and joyful to make your experience a little better in such a crappy restaurant The food although generous portions was really subpar and I'm not one of those hard to please people when it comes to food quality I absolutely would never go back to this location just because I have my own favorite breakfast place up in Arlington the Stilly diner that I always go to We filled our bellies and I guess that was the purpose of the visit to kill about an hour for her car to get taken care of. so that part of it was a success Pricewise it was just more expensive than many other breakfast places I've been to for comparable food orders Don't order the biscuits and gravy here as they are terrible by the way.
