    Liver and Onions
    Angie H.

Today Pattys egg nest took very good care of me! I have eaten the patties over on 128th before and ordered various things from Door Dash. This was my first time calling into the local one on Evergreen. When I called and I was asking for a liver and onions. A very nice young lady explained to me that they only serve them on Tuesday through Saturday after 3 PM as a dinner. She then proceeded to yell out to Paul the Chef in the back and ask him if he was willing to make me a meal. She said come on in. I came in and had one of the best meals I've had a really long time. This place has a really hometown feel. There's a bar right next-door but you can tell the people that come here come here every day. It felt like coming to moms house and getting some delicious cooked food that just really brightened your day and reminded you that there's good people in the world. I feel lucky to have came across these wonderful souls today. I needed this & a wonderful meal. I know I sound corny but I really genuinely mean this.

Turky sandwich, family ordered to go, after family finished their sit down meal. Only enough turky to cover half of each slice.

Most Saturdays my hubby and kids go out to Breakfast. As I am disabled the order me something to go. I have had good food in the past. Today they had good food. Hubby enjoyed his Fish n (Onion Rings) I asked for a turky sandwich with white meat, without tomato, and potato salad as my side. When I opened the box, I could tell just by looking the bread was stale around the edges and overloaded with lettuce. I open the sandwich to remove some lettuce and was shocked to find so little turky only half a sandwich could be made. Utterly disappointed. No time or care was spent preparing this order. Especially when hubby said they were not busy. I have a photo not sure how to post it.

    "Medium rare" steak.

I ordered the rib eye steak and eggs and it may be one of the worst I've had. I ordered my eggs over medium and they came over hard. I ordered my steak medium rare and got well done. My toast however was not toasted. I'm all for trying to support local businesses now especially but I'd like to at least get what I ordered.

8oz top sirloin breakfast offered as an upgrade. YUMMO.

Like forever the Biscuits are light and tasty. Strawberry freezer jam on top to keep them from floating off the plate by themselves. Had the Top Sirloin 8oz steak with the perfectly cooked hash browned potatoes ,I added 3 cooked correctly poached eggs on top. Wow, just like pre covid19 food. The server Jodi was happily singing along with the music. We had forgotten about Patty's Eggnest at the Chuck Wagon Inn. A fun and old fashioned place to enjoy your mealtime experiance. Lady Lorilei enjoyed the Red ,White, and Blue Waffle covered in fruit of the same colors. Then it was smothered with Devonshire Cream. I snitched her two jumbo Rashers of thick cut Peppered Bacon. After a long hiatus we will be back as regular patrons. Go here for old fashioned diner delights.

Great hearty breakfasts! Good place for group get-togethers too. The service is good usually. Can get very busy, but worth any wait.

A/C was running high as it was a super humid and hot Saturday. The restaurant is one big open space with large, comfortable booths lining the walls and a selection of tables in the center. This would suit large groups, too. There's a small outdoor patio area with umbrella covered seating. They had World Cup games on and decor to match. THE FOOD: We immediately had warm, thick tortilla chips and house made red salsa on the table. Salsa is on the spicier side, but was absolutely delicious. We had the Cadillac margarita (moderately strong and well mixed), tacos dorado with steak (fried and seasoned perfectly), and corn tacos with birria (melt-in-your-mouth and perfect temp). The bar is its own little mixology section and is very well stocked. SIDE NOTES: We were way too full for dessert, but there were several nice options that all looked and smelled amazing as they passed us. Can't wait to go back when we have emptier stomachs to try more!

I got an order of their pulled pork breakfast burrito, which I've never tried before. Traditionally, it comes w your choice of pancakes or toast/hashbrowns. They let me upgrade the regular buttermilk pancakes to their lemon blueberry ones. Ultimately, the total came out to around $27.50 after tax/tip (I "only" tipped $2 since I was picking up). Ok so here are my ratings: - service 5/5 - burrito 3.5/5 - pancakes 4/5 - price 3/5 The burrito was solid. I just wish their was more to it. Like maybe some veggies or spice or pico or anything lol. The pancakes were the best part of the meal. You really don't even need to add syrup since it comes w the lemon cream cheese frosting on top and in between each of the 3 pancakes. The combination of that lemon + blueberry was ono and that's coming from a guy who typically doesn't choose lemon style desserts.

Ambiance: comfortable seating, and clean restrooms For $70 and change for a party of two, I expect food that tastes better than what I can make at home. If you want to spend this kind of money on a breakfast that is outstanding, try George's in Kirkland.

Right away, I thought the interior (marble tables and matching booth) was super cute! This is what we ordered: Oreo Milk Shake The Oreo milkshake was rich, creamy, and delicious with a generous amount of whip cream on top! Chicken Souvlaki (Shish Kabob) and Chicken Gyro Today I learned that souvlaki is marinated meat (typically chicken, pork, or lamb) grilled on skewers while gyros are usually a combo of beef, pork, or lamb cooked on a rotisserie and shaved off in thin slices. Honestly, they both tasted kind of the same despite the different preparation of the meat. Both dishes were not the worst but not the best. The meat could've used a little more salt but the tzatziki sauce was delicious! Chicken Melt This was probably the best savory entree! The sandwich had the perfect crunch that was followed with the creaminess of the cheese and the flavor from the grilled onion and chicken. Pancakes These pancakes here are comparable to the ones I've had at Rusty Pelican and Sawmill Café- super yummy! As for our entrees, it comes with a side of either fries, salad, soup, or fruit. My mother and I got the soup which was beef and vegetables and my sister got a salad. The soup was nice and hearty with a generous amount of meat and veggies and the salad was... well a salad haha.
