Shoutout to this place for opening the store for us when we were looking for a sweet treat. Ice cream flavors were all well made and had the option of making it alcoholic or keeping it non-buzzed. All the buzzed flavors were paired with the perfect complimentary alcohol, and while you could taste the alc it wasn't too overpowering. Stopped in for 'buzzed' ice cream but unfortunately on Sunday nothing comes buzzed. Disappointment for sure. I ordered the smores ice cream which was still good but really wanted it buzzed. Had the Nutella ice cream and added brownie bites. It was kind of expensive and not creamy at all. Because it is made with liquid nitrogen, it has a weird texture, almost like dippin dots. It was just ok, but didn't have the nice creaminess of actual ice cream. Also I didn't taste much Nutella flavor in it. read more

This was a cool spot we stumbled upon walking up King Street looking for ice cream with brownies. They use liquid nitrogen to freeze the ice cream on the spot and they have options to add alcohol, which is a unique touch. They also have a create your own flavors with brownies as an option--- so it was a winner To get ice cream at this shop. At the register, the staff answered my questions about the process and took my order. It took a little time for my order, but they have a good amount of seating inside and I was able to enjoy my tasty treat right then and there. There were some games in the tables, which promoted an atmosphere of hanging out for a while. Only things to note were my ice cream didn't seem to stay frozen long at all before it started to melt. A liquid nitrogen ice cream place located in downtown Charleston! Liquid nitrogen ice cream is fresh because they make it right in front of you. Because of that, it can be a bit of a wait if there is a crowd so keep that in mind if you're on a time crunch. I ordered last in my party of 6 and it took about 15-20 minutes to get my ice cream. I did a small cup of create your own. My base was cake batter ice cream with brownie bites and rainbow sprinkles. If you're 21 or up, you can get alcohol added to your ice cream too. The ice cream was good, but the taste of the brownie bites felt non existent because of how much they chopped them up. I would definitely get a different topping if I returned here. The rainbow sprinkles were flavorful though! There are a handful of tables and chairs inside if you want to eat your ice cream indoors. The tables have little games at them to play too. read more

I've passed by this place a million times and always assumed everything was alcohol I'd not stop (I don't drink). Tonight I saw a sign advertising that they had non-alcoholic items so I stopped in and glad I did! I tried the honey bourbon pecan milkshake and it was really good. They make the ice cream fresh using super cold nitrogen gas, which makes it super smooth. I absolutely loved my kink shake. Only problem was the price. I know it's a premium product but $10 for a milkshake that was somewhere between 12 and 16 oz felt very unfortunate, even on King Street. Bottom line is I just didn't like it. The shop is ADORABLE, the wallpaper and decor doesn't really fit with an ice cream shop in my opinion it's like a cigar bar more so lol but I loved it! The employees were very friendly. The technique is super cool. I just simply didn't like the flavor, it was bland and tasted more icy instead of rich to me... Hung out for a lil and played the games provided on the tables before ordering. got yelled at by the staff specifically by the old white man working with the young white blonde girl who was also rude. It's okay. There are only a small range of flavors, and while the flavors have fun names, the ice cream is rather pedestrian compared to other premium ice cream shops. The novelty of the shop is that it serves "buzzed", or alcoholic, ice cream. It does serve non-alcoholic ice cream, however, for how pricey the ice cream is, the non-alcoholic variety is not worth the value. When considering how pricey it is and the small range of flavors available, unless you're really desperate to have alcohol in your ice cream, there are much better options available. read more

The customer service and ice cream here is amazing. The ice cream is made with liquid nitrogen and is creamy and light. It doesn't weigh you down like a traditional scoop or soft serve but still gives you the creaminess with sorbet like consistency. We got the passion fruit buzzed ice cream. I feel like the ginger in the original was very strong, so if you aren't a ginger person, don't go for the ginger and swap the liquor to orange liquor. It heightens the passion fruit flavor. If you're like me though and like the way ginger and passion fruit complement each other, then keep it traditional. The traditional also uses a mango liquor which was very yummy. Stopped in here with my little one for some customized nitrogen ice cream! It's difficult to find non-dairy ice cream options that are unique but you can basically make anything you want here. It's a little pricy but it's also a pretty cool experience. It's geared towards adults with the option to add alcohol to any order, but it's also great for kids. My son decided on a simple "birthday cake" with sprinkles and he loved it! For non-dairy, they use an almond milk base that I believe he said uses corn syrup as the sweetener. I could have gone without knowing that but it was still really good. The guy that was making the ice cream was super friendly and informative. I was talking with him about the nitrogen ice cream place we have in south Florida so comparing this to that, it falls a little short because for the same price, they make a much fancier and elaborate presentation with tons of toppings. Wow! I still can't believe just how creamy and delicious the ice cream is! Staff was so patient and helpful, took time to explain the process to my kiddo and let him "push" the button to make his ice cream. We had a chocolate vanilla with M&M and that was the favorite. Also tried coffee with brownie, flavor was great but you don't get the creamy texture with the coffee. Location was easy to get to and find parking, inside is clean and well decorated.
