This was a cool spot we stumbled upon walking up King Street looking for ice cream with brownies. They use liquid nitrogen to freeze the ice cream on the spot and they have options to add alcohol, which is a unique touch. They also have a create your own flavors with brownies as an option--- so it was a winner To get ice cream at this shop. At the register, the staff answered my questions about the process and took my order. It took a little time for my order, but they have a good amount of seating inside and I was able to enjoy my tasty treat right then and there. There were some games in the tables, which promoted an atmosphere of hanging out for a while. Only things to note were my ice cream didn't seem to stay frozen long at all before it started to melt. Within minutes. By the time I was half way through (I eat my ice cream pretty quick!), it was more like a milkshake. I also wish I was given more brownie bites inside.

A liquid nitrogen ice cream place located in downtown Charleston! Liquid nitrogen ice cream is fresh because they make it right in front of you. Because of that, it can be a bit of a wait if there is a crowd so keep that in mind if you're on a time crunch. I ordered last in my party of 6 and it took about 15-20 minutes to get my ice cream. I did a small cup of create your own. My base was cake batter ice cream with brownie bites and rainbow sprinkles. If you're 21 or up, you can get alcohol added to your ice cream too. The ice cream was good, but the taste of the brownie bites felt non existent because of how much they chopped them up. I would definitely get a different topping if I returned here. The rainbow sprinkles were flavorful though! There are a handful of tables and chairs inside if you want to eat your ice cream indoors. The tables have little games at them to play too.

Jeni's is a great ice cream spot with unique flavors and amazing waffle cones that they make daily. Brew a sweet treat next time your in Charleston definitely check out Jeni's! They have two locations one downtown and one in mount pleasant! The are always so friendly there and super nice. And both stores are super cute inside.

I've passed by this place a million times and always assumed everything was alcohol I'd not stop (I don't drink). Tonight I saw a sign advertising that they had non-alcoholic items so I stopped in and glad I did! I tried the honey bourbon pecan milkshake and it was really good. They make the ice cream fresh using super cold nitrogen gas, which makes it super smooth. I absolutely loved my kink shake. Only problem was the price. I know it's a premium product but $10 for a milkshake that was somewhere between 12 and 16 oz felt very unfortunate, even on King Street. Like I'm not going to stop in here with my kids and spend $50 on milkshakes. Which is a shame because they are great! J.Ja

Bottom line is I just didn't like it. The shop is ADORABLE, the wallpaper and decor doesn't really fit with an ice cream shop in my opinion it's like a cigar bar more so lol but I loved it! The employees were very friendly. The technique is super cool. I just simply didn't like the flavor, it was bland and tasted more icy instead of rich to me... I got the tiger stripes which was supposed to be a peanut butter chocolate type and I expected decadent but it just wasn't. I dunno. Hubs liked it (he tried mine) we didn't get booze in it. Maybe that's the problem.

Jenna and Jenn was so lovely. Just did a bodybuilding show. Showed up almost closing and they took great care of me and hooked my ice cream with as much love as possible. I love this place and my ice cream was the BEST EVER! They were closed and still letting ppl buy the no-wait i e cream!! Above and beyond service !!

The customer service and ice cream here is amazing. The ice cream is made with liquid nitrogen and is creamy and light. It doesn't weigh you down like a traditional scoop or soft serve but still gives you the creaminess with sorbet like consistency. We got the passion fruit buzzed ice cream. I feel like the ginger in the original was very strong, so if you aren't a ginger person, don't go for the ginger and swap the liquor to orange liquor. It heightens the passion fruit flavor. If you're like me though and like the way ginger and passion fruit complement each other, then keep it traditional. The traditional also uses a mango liquor which was very yummy. Ambiance wise, I loved the decor. It's very cool, upscale ice cream shop/bar. Overall, I will be stopping here again the next time I visit Charleston

Found this place while wandering around King St and ended up going 3 times in one week! So so good and so many flavor options. Staff is always friendly too! Plenty of seating and fun to hang out in.

This ice cream is so delicious. I am a first time newbie eating liquid nitrogen ice cream it's like a Frankenstein project gone right. The strawberry graham ice cream is my favorite yum X 100. Definitely worth it in the small cup. Come on liquid nitrogen ain't cheep lol.

I'm a bit of an ice cream fan and this is next level. I ordered the Maple with Snickers mixed in. Intense pure natural maple flavoring in a sweet cream base. Snickers got frozen solid giving a chewy bite throughout. Pure heavy cream coats the tongue and imparts a truly heavenly flavor. I didn't go for the added alcohol. Didn't need it. I was high on the flavor.

Luckily, we were able to be seated immediately but it was very close quarters with surrounding tables. The menu is vast with different dessert options. If you want to know what cakes are available, you should check out the display stand right when you enter. Since we were there 2.5 hours before closing, there didn't seem to be a lot of cake options available, but my husband and I decided to share a slice of the s'mores cake with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream to make it à la mode. The s'mores cake was a chocolate cake with mini marshmallows, chocolate fudge, graham crackers, and more marshmallows. The cake was good and had everything I could ever want in it, but it was a little dry. I think this also had to do with it being the end of the night. The ice cream complemented the flavor well. It would have been better with a second scoop of ice cream though. Service was great! It took about 10 minutes from when we ordered to get our dessert. I would probably come back here again, but not so late at night so there would be fresher cake with more options available.

We waited about 5 to 10 minutes to be acknowledged while two employees stood nearby. The two layer chocolate caramel pecan cake, which our waitress initially could not find, was dry and tasted stale. I would not order it again. The Tollhouse pie was a bit better, but the presentation and the whipped cream were the standouts, and the whipped cream wasn't even homemade! That's the best thing I could say about our experience. The food, pricing, service, and ambiance all fell below average. When you are located downtown with so many great dessert options around, you really need to step up your game. We will not be returning.

We set a pickup time and I went to grab them just before my event. Christen had them ready and greeted me at the door. She actually does all the baking off site at a commercial kitchen and then offers pickup from her beautiful home downtown. I love this old school way of doing business and it adds a personal touch. Now for the cakes! Everyone was raving about them and asking where they came from... even people who said they don't even like chocolate cake (weirdos if you ask me). I lucked out because my guests had restraint and didn't devour every last mini cupcake so I took home about a dozen of them and enjoyed all of them with zero judgement from the party goers. We had a wide array of items which included their caviar service, fresh oysters, crab claws and some appetizers including their fried oyster slider and a unique oyster appetizer. All of these were DELICIOUS! Their caviar service was one of the best I've seen, the oyster slider was delicious and my only complaint is that the oyster itself was small. The oyster appetizer was unique but had great flavor with the old bay seasoned crackers. For entrees I had the cornmeal friend fish. It was a great size price of fish, came out hot and fresh and fried to perfection. It does come on a bed of cream corn, but there were no real side dishes you could add or order. So it was filling, but not as hearty as other meals. I also asked for a sauce to accompany the fish just to break up the taste and texture a bit void of a true side. For dinks we had one off menu and I had them make a traditional whisky sour. Both good. This place came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. I would make it a stop on my next visit.

The first meal we had was a bit of a work/get together meal. We ordered an assortment of items off of the menu and created a more tapas menu. The charcuterie board we picked the cheeses for and it was lovely. All as expected and quite surprised to find a cheddar I enjoyed. Came with some grapes, figs, nuts, honey and I think mustard. Glazed carrots were phenomenal. Heartily enjoyed the beet salad and thought the presentation was quite pretty. Lamb lettuce wraps are alright. Spouse liked the peanut butter chocolate dessert. For brunch, I had the carrot ginger soup. Which I must say was a total delight. The soup had the hallmark texture and base flavor of the carrot ginger but it had a beautiful breath of savory and some heat seasoning wise to it. It was quite an elevated soup and heartily enjoyed! (I did not let the restaurant know or give them the chance to make right. I regularly eat soft boiled eggs and soft scrambled so I felt comfortable with consuming them.) Strawberries were ripe and tasty. The whipped cream was gorgeous in thickness and flavor. One in law had the caesar salad with croutons and grilled chicken. Their bowl was left clean so while they are not the talkative of sorts they did seem to enjoy it. Ordered a baguette with butter.
