    Coffee Stracciatella
    Srinanda G.

Saw a line outside of this place, which influenced us to give it a try. The store itself is quite small, without a lot of room to sit inside. I ordered the coffee stracciatella, and it was melting so much as it got handed to us that we might as well have ordered ice cream soup. Flavorwise, it didn't really feel like anything special.

This place is so cute. I love the pink decor. They had unique gelato flavors and Dutch pancakes that were to die for. The service was great! The Dutch pancakes were perfection. A little crispy on the outside and very soft and fluffy on the inside. They paired so well with the maple syrup. We wish we got more. The gelato was amazing. I loved the coffee stracciatella flavor. It was a very strong coffee flavor. The salted caramel was a perfect balance of salty and sweet.

A perfect stop for gelato while wandering the city! They offer a lot of flavors, plus Dutch pancakes that you can put gelato on top too. The decor is bright and fun and there's some seating outside as well.

What a TREAT. Thanks Scotty, @YELP & Tinto Y Crema!! It was DELICIOUS & refreshing on a hot day. Grab your treat and go sit down on a swing under the roof at the park. I didn't go in due to parking limitations. I pulled in a gravel drive just down from the shop. My daughter ran in and got the pnut butter & salted caramel! MMMMMMM. She said the girl was a great help in the cute little shop. I would like to go back to look at their variety of YUMZ

Here for Gelato. Got the vanilla and hazelnut. Probably one of the worst I have ever tasted. Watery texture. Tastes more like store bought generic ice cream. Took a few bites and the rest is going in the trash.

We came to visit Charleston yesterday and decided to stroll downtown. We had never been in this particular area and came across a cute cafe. We were looking for something sweet and thought this would be great. When we walked in, no one greeted us. The two people working continued to chat on amongst themselves until we presented ourselves in front of them. When asked about the menu items, the young lady simply stated we're out of this this and this, we only have from Pistachio and down. Now being it's our first time EVER in this establishment their customer service SUCKS! They were rude, inattentive , and not friendly. It gave off racist vibes. We were ready to spend our money and enjoy. However those two ladies working made it unpleasant.

    Bright and cozy inside.

Give this place a try! My wife and I stopped in for a treat, and we were amply rewarded. We were pleasantly greeted by Hannah, who suggested their Coffee Stracciatella gelato, and it was heavenly. My wife ordered an iced coffee and a ham and cheese panini, with a chocolate hazelnut gelato to finish. We sat, chatted, and enjoyed our panini inside. It's very cozy (ok, quite a small space inside, but plenty of seating outside). We thoroughly enjoyed Tinto y Crema, for their gelatos, their food, and their cozy hospitality. I hope you do too. BTW, I'm in a wheelchair, and Tinto y Crema is easily accessible using a ramp at the end of the block to access the this row of shops on Venue.

Cutie Little Coffee and Gelato establishment. Staff are warm and friendly. No indoor seating but do have table and chairs outside and close to Charleston Harbor. The Belgian Chocolate Extreme Gelato with espresso coffee on top is so delicious. I would recommend you give this little coffee and gelato house a try. Parking can be challenging since the coffee house is located downtown Charleston. But if you are in the area give them a try.

I had seen this place on a Charleston bucket list. We got the frozen lemonades for $7 (they were out of the base for the mojito one). There was plenty of outdoor seating, but we took our frozen lemonades across the street to the waterfront park. Creamy, slightly tart, and the perfect refreshing treat for an afternoon at the harbor. 2024 #3

I had a small cup of beach day, one of their vegan options. The employee said it's a mix of avocado, lemon, pineapple, and basil. She offered me a sample, and it was such a lovely flavor combination. It's closer to a sherbet and so refreshing for a hot day. It's really cute inside, I love all the touches of pink, and the building itself is beautiful. There are plenty of tables outside, so we sat down and enjoyed the weather as well as our treats.

I came here with my favorite ice cream connoisseur, she really knows her stuff and she's really tough. First things first, we meet Addee(?). Addy made our night. We recently went vegan and worried we couldn't eat ice cream. Addi made sure that wasn't the case. She reminds me of Angelina Jolie. Both are so amazing and both love peppermint patties. She even gave us wotter! (Adey not Angelina Jolie) Mint chip yum! That feels good.

A nice chill spot by the water to grab some ice cream. Staff was very friendly and the place was easily accessible. Ice cream was good and ate it out front on the patio. Thanks for having us!

Small space inside but has outdoor seating. It's near the pier. Staff friendly as always. The best flavors are the unique ones... although the classics taste good as well. Samples are a must.

Yes! Last time I was there, they had three vegan flavors: coffee stracciatella, mint stracciatella, and beach day (a mix of three fruits).

If you want to know what cakes are available, you should check out the display stand right when you enter. Since we were there 2.5 hours before closing, there didn't seem to be a lot of cake options available, but my husband and I decided to share a slice of the s'mores cake with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream to make it à la mode. The s'mores cake was a chocolate cake with mini marshmallows, chocolate fudge, graham crackers, and more marshmallows. The cake was good and had everything I could ever want in it, but it was a little dry. I think this also had to do with it being the end of the night. The ice cream complemented the flavor well. It would have been better with a second scoop of ice cream though. Service was great! It took about 10 minutes from when we ordered to get our dessert. I would probably come back here again, but not so late at night so there would be fresher cake with more options available.

This was our first stop after arriving in Charleston and I knew I wanted to return. I first visited Bitty & Beau's back in 2021 during a trip to South Carolina and was immediately positively overwhelmed by the mission, people, and atmosphere. Since then, I've also visited the Savannah location, so bringing my friends here felt like a non-negotiable part of our Charleston itinerary. Thankfully, they were more than happy to indulge me. While we all came for coffee, none of us actually ordered plain coffee. Instead, we opted for lattes and other specialty beverages, all of which were delicious. What surprised me most was that throughout the rest of our trip, despite visiting several other coffee shops, my friends repeatedly said Bitty & Beau's was their favorite. High praise considering Charleston has no shortage of excellent cafes! For those unfamiliar with Bitty & Beau's, the company is dedicated to employing individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, creating meaningful employment opportunities while fostering inclusion and acceptance. I remembered enjoying it during my first stay, so naturally I had to return. This time around I stopped by twice during our two-night stay. On my first visit, I was tempted by the limited-time LoveShackFancy collaboration and ordered the Pistachio Rose Matcha Cloud Latte. It sounded amazing: house-made pistachio rose syrup, your choice of milk, topped with fluffy matcha cold foam and rose petals. Unfortunately... it was way (way) too sweet. And this is coming from someone who usually likes sweet drinks. At $10, I powered through it, but it definitely wasn't for me. My friend ordered another one of the collaboration drinks and did not finish hers because it was overwhelmingly sweet. Thankfully, my second visit redeemed everything. I went back to an old favorite - an iced matcha latte - and it was just what I was hoping for. Service was excellent during both visits.
