Just left. Found this gem on our way home from Omaha. We were seated right away. The young wait staff were efficient & thoughtful. I ordered the lunch size portion of smoked ribs which had a hearty portion of 7 ribs plus a baked potato plus bread. Hubby ordered a burger since the reviews claimed it was outstanding. None of it disappointed! I'm a bit of a bbq snob & my ribs were tender with just enough smoke. Sauce is on the table to add as much as you like. And our bill was under $30!! Can't beat that. Found his place by accident yesterday so decided to try it for dinner Food was awesome Order come out quick hot fresh and correct ! They sell beer. Not sure about other alcoholic drinks BBQ is moist tender and very tasty BBQ sauce has a bite to it. We decided to check out this steakhouse based on the reviews. As we walk in there is a hostess no smile, no energy, just drops you off at a table. She's young so I kinda didn't think anything of it. Our waitress was Sara. She was friendly. Brings our drinks, and food out as soon as they are ready. My only complaint with her was drinks were never refilled and I ended up finishing my husband's drink after mine. Part of the issue here is the red cups. The wait staff can not see the cups are empty. Now let's talk about food. This is more diner food than steakhouse. Steaks were cheap cuts of meat. Very chewy and filled with gristle. Not chewy because of cooking but simply not great cuts. We had the t-bone and kc strip. Both were less than 50% edible although my pup loved the leftover she got. The dog ate more steak than I did. The baked potato was the best part of my meal. Steamed broccoli was microwaved and you couldn't convince me otherwise. The black burn marks are only caused by microwaving. If asked if I could recommend this restaurant I would say it's just okay. We probably wouldn't visit again. 75.00 is a bit much for kinda edible food. read more

It's the only bbq place in town so if you love bbq... don't do it to yourself. You're better off going to Sonic for a burger. The restaurant itself looks fine and the staff is friendly. The setup is that of a typical casual family restaurant with plenty of parking and a to-go counter on the side with dedicated parking. I ordered pulled pork with green beans and mac and cheese. The green beans were bland and appeared to be of the canned variety with a few bacon bits in them. The mac and cheese was literally child's play and the pulled pork didn't even have any smoky flavor. A waste of $13.98 plus tip as I threw it out after a couple of bites. I'll never know how the rest of their food tastes because I won't be back. read more

Friendly service and a large menu selection. Lots of BBQ and options. But the food wasn't very impressive. We started with onion rings, they were fried perfectly and crispy! I ordered Burnt Ends and baked beans. The burnt ends were pretty dry. I think they we're old and reheated? The beans were very sweet, there weren't any bits of peppers or meat in them. We all had terrific meals and excellent customer service. I was especially pleased to have a good selection of veggies and healthier options like fish and chicken as I travel a ton for work and struggle with limited options for staying on the healthy side. My party also had the ribeye, a couple brisket options, loaded baked potato and the smoked chicken. Everyone was very pleased. This place is an absolute pleasure. My wife and I noticed this spot from across the street. We walked and happily greeted and seated upon entrance. The entire meal was beyond scrumptious! My prime rib with baked potato, vegetable skewer had no complaint except I wasn't able to eat everything because needed room for a beyond belief sugar free chocolate pudding pie. Rarely, do I write reviews, maybe my third entry? The meal has to be heavenly. The service was exceptional even though business was slow. Whatever wasn't eaten today will be tomorrow's meal and I'll relive such a wonderful time. My wife commented that this experience was as if we were on a date. Maybe, we were! This was our first time to stop here fellow yelpers. The waitress was very sweet and the menu had a lot of variety. There was a full bar in the restaurant. Keep in mind this is not "fast food". If you order bbq it seems to come out daily quick but other items do take longer. Not being from Missouri, my husband ordered the bbq to compare with Texas. The meat was tender but not a smoke ring, tasted oven baked but was decent. The sauce was a spicy sweet which was very different from what we are used to but yummy. The fries were on the cold side but the waitress kindly ordered fresh. I ordered the hamburger with mushrooms and white American cheese. The burger was delicious, hot, bun was very very fresh. I totally recommend it. The fried corn was a first and with some added salt it was so good. My only complaint...which there was more (so really not a complaint!!). I would go back again. read more

There's not a lot of choices in Nevada for grub...this is a good one for a good bite. Service was fast and super friendly. The place was not busy at noon on a Monday. So we sat in the bar area (yep, they have a bar!). Food came out pretty quick. Loved the spicy corn bites we had for an app. Seriously. I could see those on a menu at a much fancier place. Dip 'em in the ranch dressing that comes with it. They do have a kick. I had the burnt ends. Little diced pieces of brisket. Almost too burnt end. Almost to large for you to call 'em burnt ends. I am comparing it to gates burnt end sammies - which are my most fav ever! But the sauce was tangy - read thick tomatoey - and not smothering the meat. I loved their slaw - it's the vinegar kind, not the mayo kind. They do need to put a slice of bread on the plate and not some weird hoagie roll and some pickles and onion would be nice too. It's just a nit picky BBQ thing...but it's important if you want to be taken seriously as a BBQ joint. The ribs you get are usually enough for 2 meals. The buffalo chicken sammie is delish. We frequent Buzz's often, however, last week we just were underwhelmed. First, our wait was way too long. It was not that busy. Two Betty baked potatoes, pulled pork sandwich and a cheesebruger. This place was just ok. My family of 4 stopped and ordered chicken fried steak, Caesar salad, Betty baked potato, and the burnt ends salad. Not one of us liked our food enough to finish it. My 13 year old couldn't even eat the Caesar salad because it had SO much dressing on it (i wouldn't have eaten it either). We goto Buzz's often. Great food. Awesome steaks. Today we went for lunch. I wasn't very hungry so I ordered a grilled chicken salad. Holy crap! It was a huge salad. Large plate, piled at least 6in high. At least two full chicken breast. I was amazed for a $8.00 salad. My only suggestion would be to offer draft beer. Buzz's has a bar area but you can't have a bar without draft beer. When we go out for dinner I always order a tall Bud Light draft. It just doesn't seem the same to order a bottle beer. read more

Good BBQ. I've been here several times and always order the burnt end salad. It's got a good portion of meat on it and it's LOADED with veggies. I always want to order something else because the menu looks amazing but always get the salad. I've heard nothing but good things about the brisket and went to a party once where they served the baked beans and pulled pork and both were yummy. The house sauce is a little sweet for me, but the seasonings they put on their meat really make the sauce optional. read more
