FANTASTIC service! I needed to clear my basement and move everything into a POD storage container ahead of a renovation starting in a few days. I realized the day before the POD was to be delivered that I in fact did Not want to load to container myself - enter Yelp Request-A-Quote. Because of this last minute decision, best decision ever, I needed a quick turnaround. After several estimates, Buzzy was the best and could accommodate my start date in two days. The movers were running behind but kept me continually updated on their arrival time, which changed a few times but the updates made this less of an annoyance (and I wasn't necessarily in a rush). I wish I got the two movers' names, they were Superb! There was a bit of a language barrier but google translate got us through. They finished my move/transfer in less than an hour and a half and did such a great job packing the POD I was able to get more things in than I had anticipated (less to deal with, extra bonus)-AMAZING! They wrapped, taped, tightened, squeezed and stacked everything wonderfully. They were efficient and careful. They unhooked my washer (the dryer was stuck they couldn't' get it out), wrapped and loaded that as well. HIGHLY recommend! I will be calling them when it is time to unload my POD (or any other time I need movers)! read more

UPATED REVIEW: There were several problems working with Buzzy Movers on my move 2.5 weeks ago, but Buzzy Movers has since resolved them to the best of their ability. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I would strongly caution anyone considering Buzzy Movers. My experience was extremely unprofessional from start to finish. The movers began the move 3 hours late, already exhausted, after getting their truck stuck for hours in my complex's driveway clearly marked "No Trucks Over 1 Ton." They later claimed the crew that got the truck stuck was different from the crew handling my move, but the movers who arrived immediately washed black grease off their arms in my sink before starting. That explanation simply did not add up. It took them 5.5 hours to move a 1-bedroom apartment only 4 miles away. During the move, they repeatedly slammed furniture and boxes up and down the stairs with their dolly loudly enough that multiple neighbors texted me to complain about the noise and behavior. They also failed to properly wrap several furniture pieces and damaged my bookshelf badly enough to break out the side panel. Despite my having photo evidence, they denied responsibility and claimed the damage already existed. They were not carefully holding any furniture on the dolly cart either, and I helped them not to drop some of my furniture pieces multiple times. I was not able to prevent them from damaging my bookshelf beyond repair or snapping the hose off my portable AC unit unfortunately. They were incredibly quick and responsive from the start, flexible when our plans shifted, and even helped coordinate stops at multiple locations on short notice. The team was friendly, professional, and very careful with our belongings throughout the entire move. We were moving from a two-bedroom home into a four-bedroom house with stairs and tight spaces in an older property--and during a heatwave--so this was easily the most complex move we've ever done. They handled everything smoothly and efficiently, which made a stressful process feel manageable. Their pricing was also very fair, especially given the size and difficulty of the move. You get what you pay for. I wasn't planning to write a review, but the movers were very pushy about it. One of them, who spoke Mandarin, had difficulty communicating at first, but once I understood, he asked for my phone, rated the service 5 stars himself, and refused to leave until I wrote a review. My husband told him I would complete it after I finished packing, but he insisted on staying until he saw me type at least a few sentences. He even took the photo attached to this review. Li and Nian were the movers. They weren't very careful--at one point they dropped a lamp and a painting. Thankfully, nothing was damaged, but they were rushing so much that items were getting dropped or bumped into. My husband also had to step in and help move a few things because they couldn't manage on their own. Overall, I'd give them 3 stars. I used Buzzy movers 2 times in a week! The first time was to move to an apartment. I had them help me pack and load my furniture etc for a move from a house to an apartment. The issue here was that I had a house full of items - some were going to the apartment and the rest were going to storage. I texted with Benson to get an idea of costs, how many people and how long it would take to move me. Benson was prompt in responding to my queries and the booking process was relatively easy. We had 2 movers - one of whom spoke English which was great! They worked for 11 hours and worked without a lunch break! The movers were friendly and did a great job of wrapping the furniture items and stacking them in the moving truck. Our apartment was a long way from the loading area and they took just as long to unpack as they did to pack us. The movers did not complain and had a great temperament dealing with this. Really appreciated this. For this move, I give them 5 stars! I also hired them to pack my PODS for storage. We got the same 2 movers from the other day. However, because we had a lot of stuff to move, they suggested that we hire a 3rd person which we did. They did take a lunch break this time but worked hard to get our stuff into the 2 large PODS containers. It seemed that the first 2 movers worked well together. With the 3rd mover, we felt like they were rushing a lot. They did a great job of packing the PODS well and securing them. (We know it was secured as we had to go back into our PODS after they were delivered to storage and we checked the condition of our stuff in the PODS. Our stuff looked like they survived the move from our home to the storage area in Milpitas!) We did find a number of items that we had indicated for storage that were left behind in our garage. Hence our trip back to the PODS - as we needed to store them. I would definitely recommend Buzzy Movers for your next move. I will use them again when I move in 8-10 months when my home remodelling is done! read more
