A few months ago we used Golden Eagle to move our belongings from three separate Bay Area locations to Henderson Nevada. We had proxies at each of the pickup locations while we awaited at the destination. With such a custom moving plan, they began pickups the day prior and planned to arrive at destination to meet us at 10am. They arrived earlier than any of us anticipated, 5am. We felt so terrible because we still hadn't received the keys to our new place. The title company had delayed sending the payment out so the keys couldn't be turned over. The team took a nap as we waited on the keys. When 10am drew near, we bought them breakfast and coffee and they waited for a couple extra hours past 10am. At that point we couldn't wait any longer. We rented a storage room down the street. Actually wish we did this sooner so we wouldn't have kept them on the hook. We couldn't have asked for a better team of movers. We ended up having a few things that needed wrapping and they did an excellent job at ensuring everything was safe and secure. Nothing ended up being damaged or nicked. If we had to do it all over again, we would still pick them. read more

They jumped right in and even assisted with wrapping items to make sure everything was protected during transport. The only minor issue was around the payment method. Paid for two movers, arrived on time, super efficient at packing and moving our two bedroom house. They were clean and friendly and treated our home and furniture with care, they wrapped all of our furniture with blankets and plastic wrap. Overall we were happy with the moving process. HOWEVER at the end of the day when it came time to pay my husband and I went to tip them with cash and the ATTITUDE this man had was the reason I've only rated four stars. (I was going to do 3 but I was happy with the service) He was unhappy with the amount we were going to tip and got upset and wouldn't let us sign off of the service until we tipped them more. That's ridiculous. I'm assuming they are paid by the hour on top of the tips they receive. And if they aren't then they should reevaluate the way they do business, because pressuring a customer for more money is just bad business. They do great when it comes to the service they provide but BUYER BEWARE they expect a hefty tip at the end of the job. read more

Moving is never fun and it is never cheap. So I always tell people do not cheap out on your move. Your stuff is too important to you. I went with this company from a referral from a Friend. Very very happy that I did. This was not an easy move. Packing up the stuff from a storage facility was definitely the easy part but moving everything into a tri-level Home is definitely not for the weak. I wanna give a big shout out to Johnny, Sammy, and Mr. Lee. They were pleasant to work with, professional, and did their very best to not leave any scuff marks or anything like that. They met me at the facility about 10 minutes early which I appreciated. Hard to get punctual people in this day and age. Also whoever sets up their move is outstanding! She responded with lightning fast messages. I've never had a company respond to me so quickly. I don't mean hours, I'm talking minutes or sometimes seconds. Yes that fast! If you're looking for perfection, you're not on the correct planet. But they did not leave any Permanent damage or permanent marks. Easy stuff to take a rag to and wash off. I contacted Golden Eagle moving company about a local move into storage. They have really quick response times and I was able to get something scheduled just a couple days out. Their rates are competitive compared to other services and their movers (Lee, Chang) were hardworking. It took 4.5 hours to move from a 2br/2ba into storage which is about what I expected, and they also helped me dump a few large items that I didn't want anymore at an additional cost. We used Golden Eagle Moving 11 years ago and hired them again for our recent move. Once again, they were fantastic. This was a tough one--moving from a 2nd-floor apartment into a 3-story townhome with most items going up to the 2nd and 3rd floors--but they made light work of it. The team was efficient, friendly, and took extra care of both our belongings and our new home. They literally laid out the red carpet on the stairs to protect everything. I was initially skeptical that two movers would be enough, but they proved me wrong. They worked incredibly well together and handled everything effortlessly. One thing I really appreciated was that they didn't gouge us on packing materials. We've had movers in the past charge outrageous prices and even hold items hostage. Golden Eagle only charged a small, reasonable fee for a bit of plastic wrap--no surprises, no games. We packed most of our things in rental plastic bins, and they carried 4-5 at a time up three flights of stairs with ease. For the bulky or random miscellaneous items, they handled everything perfectly. Honestly, I'd suggest not stressing too much about packing those awkward pieces--just let them deal with it. They also disassembled and reassembled our bed faster than I could even find a screwdriver. Aside from a small random lightweight item I carried myself, they clearly had a system going. We basically just stood back and watched in amazement, made sure they had water/drinks, grabbed lunch for them, and gave both guys a well-deserved tip. I truly hope I don't have to move again anytime soon, but if I do, I'll be coming back to Golden Eagle for a third time. Highly recommend--and I'll continue referring them to friends. read more

Literally in 29th I found Golden eagle, booked they came early on 12/30, disassembled the items that were left in the garage, brought them up the stairs, reassembled things out doors back on. Thank you to our two movers from Golden Eagle!!! General review: 1 - They arrived on time and knew exactly where would be best to place the truck. Additionally, their truck was HUGE. They managed to fit our 1b1bath apartment and a 5x10 storage unit. 2 - Prices ARE accurate! If you do your due diligence, guesstimate it out, it's within 50 +/- of the range (only diff is travel time + maybe miles - ours was $160). We started at 8am and ended around 3pm. We had a lot of heavy solid wood furniture, so we knew it would be difficult. Even then, it amazed me how they were able to finish in the estimated time! 3 - NOTHING WAS BROKEN. We have two large TVs (80in and another 62in) and were so happy to see them make the trek in one piece. We also have a few other coffee tables with glass tops that were also not damaged. I cannot recommend them enough for your moving needs in the bay area. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends. Solid thank you to our kind movers. We were so embarrassed that we did not have enough cash on hand, but happy to see they accept venmo and zelle. PLEASE tip them well!! read more
