It definitely needs a regular deep cleaning as it wreaks of urine, but it also smells like mildew, and no amount of cleaning is going to get rid of that smell. That's going to require an improved ventilation system. To be honest, it's bad enough that I bet the health department would shut down the club over it. Another thing I noticed is that the water fountains behind the stairs haven't been cleaned in months, if not over a year. The amount of rust and scum build up on them is horrific. I will continue to use the gym merely out of convenience, but as it stands, I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone who values cleanliness and sanitation.

Over three years coming here but I wanted to share a health benefit I've never experienced before …read more All my life I've been lifting heavy weights and I've been fairly muscular for the last thirty years or so. My HDL cholesterol number have always been lower. It has jumped up from the thirties to 62 in the last year after I started more vigorous yoga like sculpt from Moji and Bikram from Jamie.. I'm still able to bench 315 pounds once a week because yoga works on my small muscles . All heavy weight lifters have sore shoulder joints which yoga has helped me overcome greatly . But sculpt and Bikram is not easy especially at 72 but I try my best to get through the class.

I broke my back, shattered my knee, and broke my wrist. At one point, I was told I might never fully bend my knee or walk normally again. During months of physical therapy, I watched Pulse Pilates open, and it became my motivation. I kept telling myself, "One day I'll be strong enough to walk through those doors." Today, I hit my 100th class. Beyond my personal story, this is simply an exceptional studio. It's always spotless, the instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely care about your progress. The reformers are incredibly smooth, and the owner is constantly investing in the studio--adding jump boards, boxes, upgrading straps and equipment, and making sure everything is top-notch. Classes start exactly on time, and I actually appreciate that the door is locked once class begins. It creates a focused, uninterrupted environment that lets everyone get the most out of their workout. What started as a goal during one of the hardest seasons of my life has become one of the best parts of my week. I felt very welcomed, and saw a lot of smiles from the ladies leaving their class. I have been to a few pilates studios around the area, and I have to say that Amanda's class is up there in my favorites! She is just so positive, encouraging, and has great humor. I love how she switches things up often, so you're consistently flowing through different moves. At other studios, the moves can feel a bit like they're dragging on forever, but at this class it was exciting and fun. I will definitely return for Amanda's class!
