TLDR; unprofessional. After the woman at the front led us to our room, she said to undress and get under the covers and she would be back in five minutes. One minute later she burst the door open saying she couldn't honor my printed Groupon because she didn't have a code scanner. In doing this, she exposed a naked me to those in the lobby. I communicated that this was unprofessional and inappropriate and was told "well, I already apologized"........... lol. read more

The massage itself was great but the customer service and attitude of the employees definitely need to be improved upon 100%. Once I had changed after my massage the masseuse came into the room and rudely asked how I wanted to pay. Surprised, I told her I already paid when I checked in (I had a Groupon) and she said well you have to tip you know. Oooookay... fine whatever..but just so you know, paying and tipping are two separate things. I asked the front desk lady for change, tipping the masseuse $10 and she had the nerve to ask me that's all you're giving her? Just a friendly note to the establishment, you would've gotten a larger tip had you not DEMANDED a tip from me, let alone berate the amount of tip that you forced me to give. During the massage I was already thinking of people who would benefit from the massage BUT after the rude ending experience I will definitely NOT be returning nor referring anyone I know to this place. read more

I was worried from the reviews that I would have a bad experience, but after just getting home from my session, I am very happy. Amy gave me a good beating, but for the thick dense muscle I have, that's the only way to make it worth the time and money. If you are looking for a women who isn't going to baby you, and definitely release some deep knots, I recommend this place. I will be returning many more times. read more

Couple of things here! We did a couples massage set for 12 noon I called in advance of course. I get there and she tried to bump my appointment be cause another person couldn't find the address...not my fault Then there wasn't a girl available to give me a massage so the receptionist who tried to bump my appointment is the one that gave me a massage...she lady hurt my back she was ALL thumbs and knuckles! Wow, a very strange experience. Greeted by a lady in a fancy dress, she acted as if attracted to me, even though I was wearing a mask. She took my hand, as alarm bells rang in my head, and led me to a room where a stereo played music, on top of music played in another room, so very unrelaxing. I turned it off when she left and apologized when she came back and told her it was too much noise for me. The massage started, after 30 years getting massages, I can tell you that this lady obviously had no training. She also had earphones in and was watching YouTube while "massaging", absent-mindedly using one hand when the video took her interest!!! Where do I start: #1 my credit card was charged prior to receiving the massage #2 they added a $2.00 fee for using a credit card #3 there was only a towel on the massage table, no linen #4 therapist did not massage, rather poked while having a towel draped on top the entire time. #5 when I requested therapist to apply more pressure, I received rock treatment which resulted in more pain than I had originally. One of the BEST massages that I have ever had. I am picky about my massage because I know how to massage and I was impressed by the massage experience I received. I called in to see if they are available to any walk-ins because the initial massage appointment I had at Narayan Wellness Inc went terribly wrong (they wanted to charge me an extra $85 for a 60-minute massage even though I had prepaid $90 for a massage coupon). Green Leaf Wellness was able to take me in right away which was what saved my day. I was greeted politely by Nicole who got me signed-in. I asked her regarding the different massaging styles that they offer and she was considerate enough to ask me what areas I am experiencing pain/ tension. She recommended that I get the combination massage styles for my first appointment and I was so glad I did. I was directed to my personal massage room shortly after where I got comfortable on the massage bed. The masseuse came in and asked how much massage pressure I wanted before she started which was something that I really LIKED (I said medium). I also felt comfortable in telling her to adjust the massage pressure during the massage and it was GRATIFYING. She found knots in my tension area and focused on them instead of doing a routine massage. Plus I LOVE the fact that they MASSAGE YOUR GLUTES because a lot of massage places I have been to barely does. The only thing that held me back from giving them a full 5-star is that during the massage, there instances where doors were slammed and some loud chattering. Don't go here if you are trying to use a Groupon. They would not accept a printed Groupon ( Christmas gift) because it did not have redeemed stamped across the page. However, that is not the worst part of the experience at Green Leaf Wellness. The WORST part is when the woman tells your daughter to go ahead and get undressed and then moments later OPENS the door and announces that the paper Groupon is not acceptable, exposing her to the people in the lobby. to start off I had an appointment scheduled for 1 pm and I live an hour away and was called around 11:45ish to push my appointment out until 1:30 pm. Now I was already on my way since i did not want to be late. So now I had over 45 minutes of time to basically waste until my appointment. Upon arriving, I waited over 25 minutes to even be acknowledged. (Was apologized to for the wait, and was told that they must not have heard the doorbell with the music and apparently a waterfall somewhere) It was almost 1:45 before I was even taken to my massage room. As for the massage, the first 15-20 minutes, I was massaged through a sheet. (I have been getting massages for over 20 years, and never had that type of experience). Also want to state that I was not even really massaged during that time, she really just rocked my body. I also stated upfront that i need a light to medium pressure and several time I had keep asking for lighter pressure as she was too hard and hurting me, and even despite my flinching from the pain, she did not let up. Then throughout the massage, the doorbell kept going off, which was very annoying. (but for some reason they couldn't hear the doorbell when I arrived) Needless to say I was not very happy with the massage or my experience. To make matters worse, after I dressed and headed to leave the lady at the front counter had the nerve to demand a tip from me. Now grant you I was not happy with my experience at all, but I have a tendency to leave my tips in the room so as to assure the therapist actually gets the whole tip and not a percentage. But to have someone have the nerve to demand a tip is just so wrong. this place needs to look up the definition of the word TIP. I WILL NOT RETURN. I actually wanted to ask for my money back based on my experience, but did not go there. The only reason to give any stars to this place is the fact that it did seem like a very clean facility. however if I could have put no stars, that would have been my preference. I've never left a review on yelp, but I just feel the need to because of my experience at this place. I literally just left my massage.... It was my first AND last time here. The okay news is that the massage wasn't bad, however I still have a stiff neck, so it wasn't that great either. The bad news is that I wanted to tip the masseuse a little over 20 percent (which I think is fair if the massage was just OKAY) with a ten dollar bill and a couple of ones, so I did. But when she saw the one dollar bills, she handed them back to me, shook her head, gave me a dirty look and said, "you can keep it." LIKE WHAT?!? I couldn't even believe it. So rude and inappropriate!!!! Then she walked me to the front and stood there glaring at me. It was extremely awkward and uncomfortable. And her feet are as talented as her hands on the overhead bars while she did the back walking thing!! What's worse than the horrible massage is the owner a month later replying to my review. Yes, I admitted we were 15 minutes late. I asked if we needed to be rescheduled. At that time there was an opportunity to do so. But greed won out and you took us. And I have NEVER had a massage therapist massage someone OVER a towel. It's always hands on skin in my experience. Maybe his skin was too dark for the therapist. Because mine had no problem massaging my BARE back, arms and legs. And yes, I checked Backpage when I left to see if we was one of those type of places. Although I found them from Yelp I don't usually go with the reviews. Different people have different experience and opinions. I took my chance. It was a walk in since it was early enough they're not busy yet (10am) I had Mandy and even she's a petite woman she's strong and was able to help me out some relief on my aching neck/shoulder & back.
