Delicious Lebanese chicken shawarma wraps. Located in Waikiki in a little area reserved for food trucks which was quite quaint. Outside bench seating. Quite a cool little foodie spot for night with good vibes. Parking can be found by driving around the blocks. It only took me several minutes to find a spot.

The food truck is located in a parking lot with a ton of other food trucks. They have plenty of shaded picnic tables for seating. It took about 5 minutes to get my lamb kebab. It was really tasty and a good portion. I think this is a good alternative to all the sandwich options in Waikiki

Cool little truck, reminds me of a gyro mixed with a Cali burrito. it was pretty good just wish they cooked the fries a little more or added something for some texture. The lady working was nice and friendly. Cool little food truck spot, lots to choose from if you wanted to try different things.

Byblos is a Middle Eastern food truck that's part of the new location of Ohana Hale Marketplace on the corner of Kalakaua and Ala Moana. The food trucks are located next to the building, in a little parking lot with a handful of tables. The seating area may be too hot during most of the day, so this is more of a to-go place. We tried this place twice and had some issues. On the phone, the owner was super friendly and happy to take a phone order for pickup. I was thankful as it was a busy day and it's always nice to have an order ready when you arrive. The order was incorrect, but we just went with it. We ordered chicken gyros and shwarma gyros plus a side of fries. Everything was so greasy it made it unpleasant to eat; plus the sauce was put on so heavy it just didn't go with the other textures. The tomatoes weren't good, which is often typical for Hawaii, but were so hard we couldn't bite through them with the soft meats and bread. The fries were a big disappointment - overcooked that they were crunchy almost like chips rather than soft fries. Prices were also high for the quality and portion sizes. The issues above made us not want to go back, but the flavor of the sandwiches on our first is what got us to go twice anyway. I feel with all the other positive reviews, it may just be growing pains of being a new place. I'd like to try again sometime.

Oh my goodness I can't believe this wrap is vegan! So tasty and mouthwatering good. It was my first time getting food from here and I'm not vegan but my coworker is. She recommended trying this food truck and it did not disappoint! I can only imagine how tasty there meat wraps I can't wait to come back and try the lamb wraps. The falafel inside was still crunchy with all the sauce.

6/24/23 my chicken shawarma was delicious. Full of flavor and hearty enough that I felt satisfied but not bloated after eating it. Customer service was pleasant. The wait for my order wasn't too long. There's shared tables and chairs to eat at. It can get crowded since there's several other food trucks. It was also really hot that afternoon I went. But the tables do have umbrellas to provide some shade. Overall the place was clean. I'm looking forward to returning to try their lamb plate.

The food was very good. Good portion size, great flavor, cooked hot, decent price. Very small menu. Sometimes the simplest menus is all you need! Located in a parking lot of food trucks on across from Waikiki Brewing. Will come back one day to get the Falafel. This visit was for the Chicken Shawarma.

I'm often on the lookout for good Middle Eastern food in Hawaiʻi, and I've been wanting to try this place for a while. I don't often go into Waikiki because parking is crazy and the crowds. However, I walked into Waikiki to meet a friend for lunch at the new Ohana Hale, and Byblos was one of the food trucks available in a parking of other food trucks. There were picnic tables available with umbrellas, which was nice on a hot summer day. I got a shawarma wrap, which was great! The flavors were good, and I enjoyed everything. The price was decent, especially considering we were in Waikiki. Service was nice, and the food came out pretty quickly.

Checked out this Shawarma food truck in the new Ohana Marketplace in Waikiki. The owner was very friendly and gave us free hummus and fried crunchy pita as an appetizer for waiting. We ordered 2 chicken shawarmas which hit the spot! Comes with grilled chicken, tomatoes, and pickles with tzaziki sauce. The shawarmas was grilled so it was bit crunchy on the outside. This a hidden gem in Waikiki!

The chicken Schwartz was hugeM. It's nicely roasted on the outside. I especially like the fill pickle crunch. Awesome! Im glad i got the wrap only. Fried would have been too much for just 1 person.

So good! I had the chicken shawarma combo and had so much leftovers because it was a huge portion. I will be back soon made me feel like I was back in the Middle East

We had the "highly rated" North Shore shrimp three years ago and the way they serve it to you isn't very appetizing. However, this shack, chef's kiss. The presentation and the flavor was all there. My partner's platter was half short rib and half garlic shrimp. (Fries/drinks from a different location.) Service 5/5 The staff are friendly and very hardworking. Last week it tasted like it had fish sauce in it with spices and garlic, etc...tonight it literally tastes like bbq seasoning mixed with chipotle seasoning and chili onion. I'm not writing this review to bash this shrimp truck because I think they are very nice but more so as constructive criticism...to hopefully keep their recipe consistent. People want the flavor of Garlic shrimp without having to go to the north shore. These other seasonings just didn't cut it for me:(

It was ~$30 and easily shareable with 2-3 people. Everything tasted great and I loved the smokey flavor and bbq sauce. Beef brisket and short rib were kinda tough and chewy. It came with three sides so I got cole slaw, potato salad, and Mac and cheese. Cole slaw and Mac and cheese were solid; Potato salad was just alright. They also gave one warm bun too. The reason I gave 3 stars was because service was extremely slow. It seemed like they were short staff and had one person at the cash register AND getting the food. He would take a few orders, and then grab the food. When I arrived, he was grabbing food for multiple folks so then I stood there waiting like 15 just to place my order. Then when he restarted and took my order, he took like 5 more orders before grabbing the food so then I waited even longer for another 15 min. That's 30 min of waiting! Also he wasn't serving food in the order that orders were received so it felt actually felt even longer. There needs to be a better system! Surprisingly he did a employee discount on my order. Not sure if it's because it was close to closing time. Btw they charge extra if you order to-go because of the supplies for packaging. I think food is alright but wouldn't return and wait that long for bbq.

However, after having to abandon our original dinner plans, we were no less intrigued after randomly stumbling across this place. While they may not have been our first choice for dinner, coming here was far more appealing than eating fast food or at the nearby IHOP! Although seeing so many folks at this mini food truck park may have been what caught our attention, it was the boxes of fried chicken on nearly every table that swayed us to try Waikiki Chicken in Paradise in particular. After skimming the menu, it wasn't hard to see why they were such a popular choice - everything on it sounded great. Granted, that's not overly difficult when there are only eight items to choose from, but tough to argue with the likes of fried chicken loco moco, fried chicken curry rice, fried chicken sandwiches, chicken & croffle, and fish & chips! Since we saw how big the portion were and didn't want anything too heavy (read: sadly, no loco moco or Japanese curry), we opted to split a FRIED CHICKEN RICE PLATE ($16.95) which came with a Fried Chicken Cutlet over White Rice with Mac Salad & Green Salad. Funny enough, despite already having a sense of how much food they give, I was still surprised by the generous portion size. As for how it all tasted, this was great. The breading on the chicken reminded me of Popeye's (though, without the spice), the batter was crispy, and the chicken itself was rather moist. As for the sides, the mac salad was pretty good, but the salad was a little heavy on dressing. If there was one thing I could change about our order, I think I'd want to see how it would taste with a sauce or glaze. At the very least, I'd definitely go with a different dipping sauce, like their Pineapple Ginger, Lilikoi Mayo, or Guava BBQ, as the Honey Mustard we went with tasted a bit generic. Of course, we could've solved both problems if we had gone with the Fried Chicken Loco Moco or Fried Chicken Curry Rice instead! I guess I'll just have to wait until the next time I'm in Waikiki!
