I have used Byers Plumbing 3 times already this year. I have to say they are professional, courteous, and very efficient. I had a toilet that had to be replaced, and Jose did a great. I had an overflow drain in my garage that was backed up and flooded my garage. Jose did a great job taking care of that issue in about an hours time. My last issue again was my garage sink. A pipe broke under the sink and flooded my garage once again. I called my property management, and Byers contacted me within an hour. It was taken cate of the same day and in a timely manner. I had a sewer pipe line emergency during the weekend. I called an emergency plumbing company that came out and was able to temporarily unclog the pipe, and also discovered a broken pipe that needed repair. His estimate was very high. On Monday morning I contacted Brian. Brian had previously replaced a broken main water valve for me, and since I had had such a good and quick experience with Byers Plumbing on that job, I decided to have them come out and give me their opinion on the broken sewer line pipe. He was out the next morning, gave me a bid that was lower than the other company's and was out to do the job with his crew the next day. They were even able to finish the job in just one day, rather than two, like it was originally expected! Brian and his crew are friendly, professional and very efficient. I was in our downstairs office of my home doing invoicing and happened to lean back in my chair to sigh from exhaustion...when I saw something that will really ruin your day - A big water spot on the ceiling right above my head. Having two teenagers sharing the bathroom above, I had a moment of panic wondering what they had done. I called my fiancé into the office in tears because our dreams of homeownership have pretty much been a nightmare thus far. After he discerned I was crying over the water spot and not the month's invoices, he picked up the phone and told me, "Calm down, woman, I've got this under control" or something like that (You know how that goes). I didn't have time to tell him to check the business card file for the last plumber we had used and it had been a long time since we had a plumber out. He called the first number he found and got the good folks at Byers Plumbing. Since the stain was dry and it didn't appear to be an immediate emergency, they were able to get to us a few days later. They showed up near the end of the 4 hour window we were slated to expect them. Not a big deal for me because I work from home much of the time. They had to cut a hole in our office ceiling to diagnose the issue and one in the bedroom wall next to the bathroom, which they nicely covered with a plastic cover since it was in a bedroom. Pricing seemed about on par with other area plumbers who are good, honest and principled. That was my overall impression of this company - That they were honest and principled. Ivan was very thorough in describing the issue (my kids had likely splashed some water that had gone under the trim and caused some leakage and the shower pipes in the wall were also leaking - Consistent with the same issue we've had in our master bathroom). He and his co-worker were very polite, professional and took pains to keep the areas they were working clean. They didn't ask me for a review, but they deserve a good one for their kindness, honesty and for taking one less headache off our plate. I'll definitely call them again...Maybe sooner than later. They said they do water filtration/softening systems and I've about had it with our hard water. Overall, they seem like real, down-to-earth guys who you can count on. We're very thankful! read more

Don't know how else to get attention but you have a driver driving drunk on the road. Driving East on highway 74 through Hemet at 7:50pm today Jan 9th 2021. Unable to stay in lane, tail gating, and nearly crashing into center divider and the trees on the side of the road doing speeds of 65+ MPH. Doubtful anything will happen to resolve this issue, just hopefully the driver doesn't hurt anyone else on the road. read more

But our property managers contracts with Byers and after two visits for different jobs, I have to say I'm really impressed with the quality of work and customer service. Most recently we had a combination of a broken garbage disposal and poorly draining dishwasher. Turns out they were both related. Josh A was the technician. He replaced the garbage disposal and even after the job was completed, did a further inspection to locate a separate leak which he repaired. Yea, they drained the overflowing septic tank that should've been taken care of previous to it being sooo full it overflowed into every drain we have. I tried to be cordial to all of the workers and, all but the last gentlemen that came to fasten the toilet today, ignored even the slightest "Hello, How's it going?" And, after 2 days of continuous hard rain, all of the dog poop didn't make it to the trashcan. So, they complained to our landlord about dog poop in our yard. All I can say is the people that work for this company are so helpful and honest! I was having an issue with a possible leak in my front yard (concern was maybe a broken main) - to the rescue came Dale! He surveyed the area, probed the ground, did a series of leak detections in the front and back (and gave me an education along the way for ongoing maintenance checks). Nothing found - he even came back out to do a second inspection when it seemed there might actually be a leak. Hired them off of the recommendation of another contractor to check a leak That I had repaired prior to fixing drywall. They came over and charged me just to inspect and tell me that it was fine. Fortunately I had another professional come over to do a repair in the same area and he found a leak that was still there in the same area and repaired it. They got done with changing my outdoor garden hose faucet within 15mins or maybe less, lightning fast. Quality of their work, so far, A+. I would've given a 5 star but the price of changing an outdoor faucet was moderately high, in my opinion (kinda low in funds due to covid ya know), however I definitely recommend them! Thursday, late afternoon, too many signs of a hot water slab leak finally reared it's ugly head. We were really apprehensive about who to call, but the previous reviews convinced us to call Byers. Talked to Dale, who walked us through a mini test of shutting the hot water off, checking the meter at the street; and confirmed our fears. He came out the following morning, and was very thorough with testing. He was up front and exact about what work may be needed, estimates and expected time for completion. He was able to schedule work for the next day. Ivan and Steve arrived Saturday as scheduled. They are both so polite and professional, it made us comfortable with the process. They answered all of our questions patiently, and made a stressful problem easier to go through! Plus they left the house as clean as when they arrived. We thank them for the great work. Some marginal work was done- most of their workers that come to your home are NOT licensed and bonded they are only technicians! When you attempt to deal with the owner he is the most unempathetic, rude and condescending BO I have ever dealt with!
