Where should I begin? A.M. Plumbing and Rooter is by far one of "THE BEST" Plumbing companies we have ever worked with. From the beginning dealing with front office staff for coordination of the initial bid to working with the staff and Alex to get the job done to 100% satisfaction. Keep in mind we have done 4 other restaurant builds and have some commercial property as well so we have a "prefferd network" of contractors we generally use. A.M. Plumbing and Rooter was not apart of that network, but the are NOW. They did a full grease interceptor install with sample box. Corrected some new found plumbing issues. Ran all new plumbing to the interceptor, added a floor drain to the restaurant kitchen. Did everything to current code. Waited and performed all inspections with the city. I had my second slap leak in 2 years and planning on a re-pipe the whole house. A.M Plumbing and Rooter came in on time for the estimate. Since they have good ratings on Yelp, and Angel, the technician seems to be knowledgeable and professional. I went with AM Plumbing. The repipe and new electric water heater was scheduled for 3 days. Alex, the owner did a nice job on the installation of electric water heater. Unfortunately, this is the only positive thing I have experienced. Day 3, Angel stayed until 11:00pm with a promise it will be completed the next day. On day 3, I still did not have a functioning toilet anywhere. The water softener was not put on bypass during the repipe, caused all the beads from the softener clogged the faucets and toilets. Angel blamed it on the water softener. (It's working before he came in and it's working now). The beads got into the toilet valve cause it to leak. Instead of fixing it, he just turned off the supply valve and told no one about it. That night I went on Youtube on how to fix the valves and stayed up until 2AM to get my toilet to work properly again. Day 4, I asked him why the bathroom valve on the second bathroom was not replaced per contract. Then he agreed to change it out. Day 5, still no water in the kitchen. Everything was still a mess. Day 6, he told me the job is done. i asked why the valves in the kitchen was not replaced per contract. He gave me some ridiculous answer and then change out the valves. When the job was done on day 7, there was a big black spot on the carpet. I asked him to clean it up. He got really angry and told me to call the office. Office manager was nice enough to send over a carpet cleaner the clean up Angel's mess the next day. Day 8, the water supply to the dishwasher and kitchen water filter was cut off and left uninstalled. Angel came back with no apology, install the dish washer water supply but refuse install the water filer in the kitchen. A week later, I discovered the water heater installed was Navien 180S which is cheaper model than the contract. At this point, I am not sure I want them back here. 2 weeks later, I discovered the gas line from the old water heater supposed to be cut off and capped was still sticking out 2 feet from the wall and was hiding under a bunch of my paint buckets 3 weeks later. I discovered no cold water in second bath sink. I turn the valve on. I figured he just forgot to turn it on, to my surprise, it's leaking The whole time he keep repeating that he did me a huge favor by giving me a free jet cleaning of sewage line worth $850. He keeps repeating beyond annoyance but make no apologies that this job is now 11 days out. I am afraid to go in the attic the see what he did up there. Update: the owner Alex came back and fixed the problems i have found. read more

I had a clogged toilet that I could not plunge . I contacted Timothy and a few others for a quote. He was the the quickest to respond and his price beat out the other guys. It came by. Was on time , courteous and polite. He took care of the clogged toilet and recommended I have it changed out because it seemed to be defective. Regulator valve was replaced by another "rated 5-star plumber" in yelp. Top and bottom copper pipe was replaced. Bottom 1/2" copper pipe connects to the City's PVC line. Two months later, the copper and PVC pipe had a leak. I notified the original plumber on Wednesday, but unable to send someone until Monday. I called Monday morning, but they have no avail technician. All these while I'm starting to cause flood on the street. A.M. Plumbing was sub-contracted out instead. Alex came in after half an hour (he came from another client that night), and was able to fix the issue. surprised to find out that there are no reviews in yelp for this plumber. but then again most of Alex's client are elderly and they found him in YellowBook. highly recommended and will use Alex's service again. read more

Repeat customer! Really appreciate Alex getting the job done. We both share the same mentality of "cut the BS, let's get to work". He's straight to the point, gives a fair quote over the phone, and gets the job done quickly. He also responds to text message. I scheduled an 8am appt with him; he got here 15 mins early which I didn't mind since I too am an early bird. I had issues with my kitchen sink leaking and bathroom toilet valve continuously hissing. He briefly left to shop for a replacement faucet and texted me several photos of quality faucets and which also came with a pump for the soap. The trip took him about 30mins. I ended up replacing the kitchen faucet with a new pull out goose neck faucet with a cost of $399 for parts and labor. Alex informed that the leak was due to the corrosion from the hard water which runs through our home and suggested a soft water filter for later. The second job he did was replacing the toilet value which cost $110 parts and labor. This took him less than 10mins. 9:45 at night rolls around and I'm finally getting tired of trying to fix my leaking toilet myself and after two failed attempts at reaching my landlord I decided "to hell with it" and went looking for a plumber.
