Zero Stars After a car accident, the police called a tow company, Action Towing, to move my car. I didn't have a preferred location, so the tow person said he would take it to a shop. I didn't know the procedure is that the tow company takes it to their lot. The tow driver didn't give me a receipt, but gave me the business card of the place he would tow my car to. The next day, my insurance company tried to get the car released so they could tow it to their preferred auto body repair location. When they called the number on the business card, that business claimed they didn't have our car. So they called the tow company, who said it was towed to C&C (again, I had no receipt from Action Towing). For three days, the insurance company tried to get the car released. They had been calling two cell numbers, personal ones, and they would either not get an answer, or the "mom" answered and said her "son" (the owner of the auto body shop) was "out of the country" in Asia. My insurance company had never seen this before. Because we wanted to get this sorted quickly, we went to their storefront, and brought the police along to mediate. It's a service they can provide, but of course lower prioritizing. They can't legally get involved but it's a non-biased third party to help resolve disputes. Long story short, C&C claims the insurance company gave the wrong info about the car, said the wrong make/model/etc, which they didn't have. Which caused the delays and stored car for 4 days (full days). However, the stories didn't add up. I'm pretty sure insurance gave them correct info. The "owner" also miraculously appeared from Asia. They basically charged us 4 days of "storage" + tow and would only take cash. They tried to convince us to let them fix our car. The owner also rifled through our car and took a picture of our insurance card (we felt so violated because it wasn't just on the sun visor). He had it on his phone and showed it to us to try and convince us to use them for repairs. They claimed they would do it for a better price, no deductible. I'm not speaking to any of their actual services. Maybe they are the best auto repair place in the world. But this incident makes me wonder if they are legit, and I highly advise that you consider other options. Sidebar: When we didn't know the exact body shop where the car was dropped off, we started calling body shops in the area where the app said the car was. One person took our info and said they would check their lot. Then they warned us that sometimes tow companies/repair places "hijack" (the person's word, not ours) the cars, because a lot of money can be made with car repairs (prob insurance fraud or scams like the above). read more

Unfortunately my car has been in a few accidents this year and I had to bring it twice. The first time I shopped around and went to 3 places before I found C & C Auto. He will give you the best rates if you want to work with your insurance or pay direct for small accidents. He also knows how to deal with insurance companies much better than other places I went to. I got into a accident and didn't know where to take my car but lucky for me my tow truck driver told me about this shop and as soon as we got there the owner came out and started helping me out and just had a good vibe I gave them my info and my Insurance was happy to work with them & with in a week I had my car back. Yelp delivers again -- took my car here to get it detailed prior to selling it. I interacted mostly with Raul, who was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and reasonable when it came to price. Raul walked around the car with me and pointed out the cosmetic issues, and quoted me a good price. When I picked up the car the next day it was gorgeous. I kid you not, that same day I got two unsolicited comments from random people about how nice the car looked (one at the gas station and one just a dude with his window down at a stop light). Never happened before. Can't think of a better endorsement. Also, worth emphasizing that I came away with the sense that these were good dudes who weren't trying to screw me. You know, like everyone you have ever met at a Jiffy Lube? No offense to Jiffy Lube employees--I'm sure that aggressive upselling is part of the training, but it's still incredibly annoying. After this experience, I trust Raul and I'll definitely go back to him the next time I need similar work done. read more

We have known Jay and his family for quite some time now, because he's our cousin's close friend. I didn't know he owned such a great automotive business that solves any case car scenario. We were recommend by Simon, our cousin, to have Jay work on our scratches that happened to our baby (Lexus IS-250). Jay was very professional on the phone and also in person. My brand new (only 51 miles) 2016 Ford Escape was hit in a parking lot and left damaged without a note - I was devastated!! I went to see the guys at C & C Auto Refinishing and they made EVERYTHING better! They took care assessing the damage, quoted me a reasonable repair price, arranged for a 'shop rate' auto rental, turned the repair around quckly, and washed my car before returning it to me. If the rating was based off of 10 stars, I would give 10! I recently got into a bumper to bumper predicament on the freeway and i was so upset . After the accident i felt like crap, it really ruined my day. I was so bummed out that my bumper was all cracked and even my seat belt and air bag system was damaged :( If you really love your car then you know how bad it feels to know it will have to be repaired. Anyway, as much as I didn't feel like dealing looking for a shop I looked on yelp and read the reviews to this shop. Im really clueless when it comes to cars, specially anything that comes with repairing so I just prayed that this place would do a good job. I met Jay and he set me up, told me not to worry that he would take care of everything, he even offered to give me a ride, i felt really comfortable leaving my car there. I took my car in for major scratches someone put all down the side of my Pathfinder. Jay was the nicest person who I met when I drove in. He did an estimate quickly and had my car repaired and repainted in a week. Not only did he fix what my insurance was covering- he also touched up other little dings and scratches unrelated to that. He even replaced a missing part from the side of my grill. Car looks beautiful. I've come to Jay and Raul twice in the last year. First time was for 4 panels on the driver side and most recently for a bumper after a fender bender. What can I say about Jay, C & C, and the crew....they did an AWESOME job. I had gotten into an accident, and when it came time to trying to find a place to fix my car, I didn't know where to go. My cousin Michelle and her husband RJ told me about Jay, and said to call him, and check them out. From the moment I called Jay, to let him know about my car, he was nothing but nice, professional, helpful, friendly, you name it. I kept procrastinating about when I would be able to bring my car in, and Jay was very patient with me. He told me to bring it in whenever I could, and he would take it from there.
