I have lived in San Francisco for a little over a year now and unfortunately, have finally fallen victim to one of the dangerous hills in my neighborhood. I was parallel parking on one of the steep-grade hills in the Upper Haight and as I was shifting from Drive into Reverse, my car went into Neutral for a second. In that second, I ended up rolling into the SUV in front of me. The SUV was fine (not a scratch), unfortunately, my VW Beetle's entire front was dented. Auto 360 was one of three shops in San Francisco that I went for a quote the following Saturday morning. Not only did Gino, the owner, provide me with a quick turnaround on scheduling a quick appointment for a quote, but he even walked me through all of the work that needed to be done, and kept everything well within my budget. In addition to being extremely competitive on price, they could complete the work FAST (other shops wanted well over a week to complete the same work). I turned in my keys on Saturday morning and had daily updates from the team regarding the status of the work that needed to be done on the car. My entire hood and bumper needed to be replaced, along with having the paint job re-done to match the rest of my car. The car was ready in two days and when I went in on Tuesday to pick up the car, my Beetle looked brand new. The hood opened and closed with no issue and the paint job was flawless. I honestly didn't expect for the job to be completed so quick. I had almost exact same damage a year ago, and the other body shop kept the car for 3 weeks vs your 10 day turnaround. Superb quality. I bought the Groupon for a $15 oil change and set up the appointment through the Groupon scheduling system. The appointment requires 24 hour notice to change or cancel the appointment. I picked the last appointment of the day at 4p and got there on time. They told me to come back in 45 minutes. I did. Then they told me to wait another 15-20 minutes. I did. Game 2 was on and I missed the beginning part of it but I didn't mind since my oil change light was taken care of. This morning when I drove on the freeway I noticed that the miles per hour had changed to kilometers. I don't know how to change it. I am not sure whether saving $15 was worth getting out of work earlier and billing less hours to my detriment. I will probably pass next time and just get it done on a Saturday. Auto 360 was amazing! If my car could talk it would thank me over and over and over again. They'll do the smallest job from changing a headlamp bulb to fixing a rear end collision. The price is very reasonable and the staff is honest , clear and concise. What I like about the manager, Craig was that he didn't "bad mouth" other auto repair businesses in the area. Awesome shop, Gino and Eric were wonderful to work with. I had my MINI towed there, and the tow guy was running late, giving me a hard time, etc. Luckily, Eric stayed after hours and waited for my car to be delivered. After that, everything was a breeze. They both went out of their way to keep me posted on the progress, and constantly communicated between myself and the insurance company. I was even offered a car rental service by Gino to make sure I was able to get around while waiting for the repairs. A friend suggested I try his mechanic after I mentioned the Jeep dealership in SF had closed. He sent me to Gino & Magit at Auto 360, and these guys are just fantastic. My Commander was jacked up, they worked on it for several weeks (the block needed to be sent out & completely redone) but I was never out of the loop. They called every couple of days to let me know what they where doing next. They also went the extra mile on my warranty, there where issues on my warranty providers end and Gino advocated for me and jumped over the hurdles they put up. Occasionally my check engine light will come on, now I just drive it in to Gino and Magit at Auto 360 and soon I know what's up and when I can come get my now smooth-running car. Previously I used the Toy Store because it was close but getting my Jeep in there was so difficult, that worry is completely gone now. Because he was so inviting, I actually popped up! Therefore,I explained all the mechanical possibilities to Gino (the owner) and his father, and they acted on it immediately. I was referred to Auto360 by my insurance company. Eric called me right away to schedule the drop off. By the time I got the shop, not only had he already made a rental reservation for me but also drove me to pick up the car as Enterprise was running late. My BMW needed work on the bumper after a hit and run.There was also a scratch on the driver's side. Eric communicated with me about what it was going to take to get the car fixed. He communicated on everything they were doing. The work they did on the car was amazing! They fixed the scratch at no extra cost. There was a little issue with the deductible which Eric & Gino accommodated without blinking an eye. Overall, I am extremely pleased with not only the customer care but also the workmanship. I had an 11am appt and was initially told that it would be an 1 and a 1/2 hour wait time. On top of that, I noticed that my car has been shaky when idle and he was willing to look over it for free! Talk about great service! I purchased a groupon for oil change on Saturday and was able to drop my car off promptly at 4pm today and it was ready within 45 min. Eric and all the staff are friendly, professional and just really nice. When I was about to pick up my car; I told them that I was hearing a noise and the mechanic that was on his way home, parked his car and took my car for a test drive and them lifted it and told me what was the problem. A few months ago I had gotten into a small accident (I rear ended someone) and through the insurance company my car was sent here to get fixed. Although I haven't experienced much business taking my car to a shop, I was pretty pleased with the service I received at Auto 360. My mother did most of the communicating with the shop. Eric took very good care of us and was very polite and made sure everything went well. He even ensured us that if we found anything wrong we could take our car right back to get it fixed. His hospitality definitely gives this place well deserved stars. Aside from that, we were pleased with the work done on the car. They replaced our front bumper and everything ended up looking just about as good as new. There were other parts of the car that they had replaced as well, but like I said, I don't know very much about cars so I can't go into much detail about that. Wow - these guys are extremely quick and efficient. I had taken my car for a 100k check-up. They told me that I had to get my transmission serviced and that there are only 2 places in the city that can be trusted for deferential issues. When I tried one of the recommended mechanics, they said that I would have to get the car diagnosed (2hrs) THEN drop the car off first thing in the morning and that it would take all day. I couldn't accept this, so I found auto 360, which is very close to my home - they said that they could diagnose AND fix the problem in just a few hours. Apparently I didn't need a specialist for a simple deferential issue, such as a leaky pan. They were super quick, did a great job, and gave me a super competitive price. Gino and his staff are absolutely fantastic. They understand the importance of building trusting relationships with their customers. I went to their newly opened facility on Bismark Ave in Daly City, and can confirm the following: First, they were able to replace and paint my bumper in well under one week, which even the larger body shops in SF were unable to promise. Second, they looked well underneath the car's exterior to confirm any potential structural damage, and reported their findings to me before starting any work. Third, they're very well respected among their business partners, which reduces the chances of unpleasant surprises... My insurance company (State Farm) was quite familiar with Auto 360's operation, and was very responsive and communicative during the entire process. The same goes with the local car rental provider (Enterprise), which picked me up at Gino's location (Gino also allowed me to leave the rental car there when I was finished so he could drop it off for me). My car was returned very clean and in better condition than it has been in years. I am very particular about body work and keeping my car in excellent shape, and I can tell anyone looking for a body shop that I had a 100% positive experience here. He is the epitome of customer service, even answering calls on his off days. He is super friendly, goes the extra mile to ensure your car is sorted at the right price and I trust him. -They fit me in with 2+ hours notice for same day service and magically make it happen. -They provided me with emailed paperwork documenting mileage and other deets required for a lower insurance rate ---repeatedly when asked. -All services performed on car work out well. -They found a great deal on new tires when I needed them. Opportunities to get more business from folks and the fifth star: -Put an oil change sticker on the window so I know when to return and give them my money for optimal performance. -Car is cleaned frequently before returned, even after a simple $34.99 oil change. They may miss some due to late minute bookings and can sometimes leave the paper floor mats in - which I hang on my wall as art... -They're a great value, but bargain hunters can sometimes find incorrect/outdated deals online which can result in discount differences of perception at check-out. Work was finally completed after a lengthy wait. Could make improvements on communication. Promised call backs but didn't call back. Kept having to contact them to check status on vehicle. Took 7 weeks for repair, due to challenges with supply of parts. So, unfortunately had to pay out of pocket for rental beyond 30 days. Still waiting now for a return call on a status warranty repair. I've had my honda civic hybrid for about 2 years now, and have been struggling to find the perfect place in SF to take it for routine maintenance. I was in a rush to get it done, and even though I didn't have an appointment they squeezed me in and gave me EXCELLENT service- doing a full check up on my car, quite more than I expected. I mainly spoke to Gino, who was very polite and accommodating, but the WHOLE STAFF was friendly and professional- even the guy who looked like a body double for Man of Steel. I had an accident in my 1999 BMW . The damage was to the right rear door, quarter panel, wheel and suspension. The repairs ( replacing the rear door, cutting and welding a new quarter panel, putting on a new rim and some suspension work, plus painting of course) should have taken 2 weeks. After 3 weeks i got a call that my car was ready. When I saw the car i was flabbergasted! The new door had a dent in it and was hung wrong, the bumper was loose, they put the damaged rim back on the car and the paint job looked like a 5 year old did it. It had orange peel, runs, bubbles. Needless to say I did not accept delivery. There were other minor issues as well. They said give them a week. So i did. When I went back a week later ( the car was there for a full month at this point ) it looked better but not perfect, now there was a huge scratch on the bumper. i pointed it out and they repainted the bumper. After all of this they did wave my $250 deductible. I paid nothing but my insurance company paid $5500. Finally as i was driving home I discovered that they had stolen about 3 dollars worth of change out of my ashtray. Fast forward to today, ( 3 weeks after getting my car back) I took my car to Phraedrus ( awesome BMW mechanic BTW) for routine maintenance. I told Dale about the accident and the work that was done and I couldn't get under the car to see the reapirs done at AUTO360 and since the car was going to be on the lift anyway could he check the repairs that were done. Here is some of what he found and showed me The new ( quality recycled door, which i'm ok with) came from a white BMW was was only pained on the outside. The rubber gaskets around the window are installed incorrectly, The welding is substandard and already beginning to rust, the door still has some small dents, and the ABS wires are loose, they simply drilled a hole in the bumper and screwed it to the body and they used filler, AKA Bondo, on some of the body. There were some other minor issues too. I scheduled an Inspection with The Bureau of Automotive Repair ( BAR ) and will update as things progress. Though I suspect this will end up in court. Bottom Line: I'm never letting these guys anywhere near my car again and suggest you do the same. And i don't appreciate them posting pictures of my car on their facebook page. Update: BAR inspected the car today and said that the repairs are well below industry standards. I just completed filing a complaint with BAR and have an appointment with European Collision Repair this after noon to find out how much it is going to cost to repair the repairs. Update: Also informed my insurance company that they paid for things that were on the estimate but weren't done and they are going to look into this shops practices as well. Now i'm glad they post pics of my car on facebook so the world can see that they just taped over the trim instead of removing and reinstalling it like they were paid to. read more

I am more than impressed with the paint job I got from Auto 360. I dealt with Gino, who was super helpful, and had a no-worries attitude about my concerns. I had to drop-in between appointments, and Gino was pleasant, helpful, and available right when I needed him. My car was ready in record time, which makes me more than happy. In addition, Auto 360 made sure I was satisfied because they threw in some minor body work with the paint job so that my car came out looking BRAND NEW!
