    This place shattered our ideas of a car dealership, car place, auto ... it has the most relax laid back chill vibe ever. NOT at all impersonal, smarmy, business, NOT transactional. It has all the good feels, good-will energy, oozes sincerity. Sheldon, one of the owners, is down to earth, approachable, warm and super friendly., genuinely wants his customers to leave their place happy. All it took for us to get a test drive was: a quick snap of my husband's driver's license, hands over the car keys and says, "Feel free to take it anywhere, freeways included, for as long as you need to get a sense of the car .... " These folks are true car enthusiasts. I. Mean. The most beautiful car we found ourselves bowled over by was a vintage 325i BMW in a gorgeous champagne, the growling German engine and the likes of which they just don't make them like that anymore, the quality and the lines of the body. Turns out it's Sheldon's personal ride. No, we didn't buy a lambo or McLaren or Ferrari or any of the high priced supercars, beyond our means, our needs a lot simpler, e.g. a daily commuter car, and if it's a bit old and beaten, the better, lol :-) --but the service we got was as if we'd spent millions there. Their office is a toy store, e.g. someone's wet dream and definitely my husband's idea of heaven as a kid--there are hundreds of "dinky cars," as my husband calls them, little toy cars, many of them pristine and brand new, still in their original boxes. These guys are super generous with their time and lavish personalized attention with a personalized touch, these days not often do we see this.

Here's what actually happened: My car came back from a trip dead -- electrical issue, with half the smart features (lane keep assist, etc.) knocked out. I brought it in for diagnostics. Simple enough request. Four weeks passed with back-and-forth before the diagnostic was even completed. At some point I was told warranty wouldn't cover it -- I said fine, I'd pay out of pocket. Except no one acted on that. Two more weeks went by and I later found out nothing had been done because they assumed I wouldn't pay. I had already said yes. Then came an estimate of $15-19K. I declined and asked for my car back. It took two separate trips to retrieve it. Both times I was told to wait. On the final visit, if I hadn't pushed hard, I would've been asked to come back again the next day. The worst part wasn't the delay -- it was the communication. Every update gave the impression that work was actively progressing. Only in hindsight did I realize nothing was happening at all. It's a masterclass in how to make a customer feel managed while being completely ignored. Five weeks. Zero repairs. Two trips to get my own car back.

I recognized my son's dream car by the enormous spoiler on the back. I took it for a test drive. I sat with Alex to discuss the price. Today, my son and I test drove the car. We sat with Alex to discuss the price and the warranty (3-months, which isn't much, but it's 3-months longer than any other warranty we were offered). We came to an agreement. I gave Alex the keys to my beloved minivan (which is now for sale, by the way), a lump sum on my credit card, and drove away in a sporty sedan. It wasn't just that we found the right car at the right price today. We found the right salesperson. Alex is supporting the local community as well as his own family. He negotiates directly and clearly. He speaks respectfully to middle-aged women and teenage kids. No gimmicks. No pressure. No confusing equations. Tell him what you need, and he'll tell you what he needs. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, no pressure. I enjoyed doing business with him.

Exceptional service deserves to be recognized, and that's exactly why I'm writing this review. I first reached out to JP Auto Body on Yelp around 4:00 PM on a Friday. They close at 5:00 PM, so they could have easily waited until Monday to respond. Instead, they got back to me at 4:50 PM, just 10 minutes before closing. That small gesture immediately told me they genuinely cared about their customers. Since I didn't see the message until after they had closed, I called the next morning. Tony answered and somehow found a way to fit me into their already busy Saturday schedule. From our conversations over the phone and meeting him in person, I could tell he genuinely cared about helping people. He was professional, reassuring, and made what could have been a stressful situation feel much easier. At the shop, I met Peter, the General Manager, who inspected my car and handled everything with the insurance company. His knowledge was obvious within minutes. He explained every step of the process clearly and made me feel completely comfortable leaving my car with them. I dropped my car off the following Monday after getting a rental. Throughout the repair, Monica kept me updated, so I never had to wonder what was happening. The communication was excellent from start to finish, and they completed the repairs exactly when they said they would. One thing that really stood out was when I mentioned I wanted to drive a Tesla rental. The rental through Enterprise didn't fit the insurance company's daily allowance, so I figured I'd have to settle. Instead, Peter immediately started working on another option and within an hour had everything arranged so I could get a Tesla rental through Hertz. He didn't have to do that, but he did because he wanted to make the process as easy as possible for me. When I picked up my car, I honestly couldn't believe it. It looked brand new. I'm pretty meticulous when it comes to my cars, so I inspected every panel, gap, and finish. Everything looked factory quality. You would never know it had been in an accident. Every person I interacted with at JP Auto Body was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared. They don't just repair vehicles. They take care of people during one of the most stressful experiences a car owner can have. Everyone says it's good to know a guy. If you ever need body work, JP Auto Body is that shop. Hopefully you never need them because your safety is what matters most. But if you do, I can't recommend them highly enough. Accidents are stressful enough. Having a team like JP Auto Body in your corner makes all the difference. Thank you to Tony, Peter, Monica, and the entire team for making a frustrating situation feel effortless. I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience.
