I've brought a 2012 Lexus to them a couple of times over the past 12 months. The first time I asked them to take a "once over" to see what needs to be worked on, if anything. They were extremely honest and advised that the car was in great condition. The brake rotors will eventually need to be refinished due to slight warping, but it was nothing pressing. All that was needed was an oil change and fluid top offs, which they took care of at a very reasonable price. I brought the car in again recently for an oil change. To wit: PR Motorsports in Hayward closed a few years ago because the main and only mechanic had "an offer he couldn't refuse." When Mr. Mazda changed owners due to unforseen circumstances, well, I'll stop short there. What Auto Logic delivers is a world-class auto experience in every category: Customer Service, Communication, Attention to Detail, Value, Service and All-Around "Good Karma" vibe. My auto service need was fixing a leaky engine (from the aforementioned rebuild) that was LONG overdue. After an initial assesment, the estimate was up to a 2-day job and co$t wise, ended just being a little "teensy weensy" over the initial estimate price. I didn't care, because the constant calls to my cell phone regarding updates eased my concern. Timewise, the job took just a little over one day. That's it really. Had 2 services performed here, each on separate occasions. 1. Smog check - in and out within 30 minutes. No fuss. Call and get an estimated quote and timeframe. If they're not busy they usually will be able to fit you in same day. 2. Replaced 4 brake rotor and pads. Explanation on why all 4 needed replacement was helpful. Luckily they weren't too busy so was able to drop off car around 9:30 and pick up around 4pm. Ken was really helpful and worked with me on the best solution for my fix. He also gave me a few pointers on things to look out for in the future, which I appreciated. Overall, pricing was reasonable and service was supreme. After being robbed by my car dealership for a very long time, I have been looking for a good place taking care of my aging car. Found auto logic on Yelp. It is conveniently located in San Bruno with plenty of parking to accommodate. I found them to be extremely friendly, honest, helpful and competent. I was here to service my car and they addressed all my concerns with an incredibly reasonable fee. My car ran so well after. My car was a lemon and had an issue when it was new. The same odd issue popped up again and I took it back here to check and hopefully fix. They were honest about the issue and recommended me to get it done at the dealership, offered me a price check and didn't charge me anything! This review is overdue. Our cars had smog check done on weekends here. I had my 10 years old Volvo X60 4 door all wheel drive performed the oil change, break/pads, and battery. Ryan who is the person receiving calls and basically working with clients is the nicest person with great customer service. He is the best! Ken the owner is very much hands on person and very nice! Whenever I have car issues or go on a buying spree for truck parts that I have no idea install, Auto Logic comes through time after time. Most recently I picked up a new set of wheels and tires. When I picked them up from the buyer, I forgot to bring straps so they were rolling around my truck bed. Luckily auto logic was only a 2 miles always, and just so happened they were able to slot me in on the spot. Initially the quoted me a higher price because of all the sensors and calibration (something I never even thought about before buying the wheels/tires). What I love is that they are amazing at explaining the 'WHY' behind their work in ways that a person like me who knows next to nothing about cars can understand. They were able to install the tires and I was back on the road in less than 2hrs. Best part, the calibration and sensors didn't require extra work, so my final paying price was nearly a $100 less than the quoted price! It's the honesty and transparency that keeps me coming back. Auto Logic has been doing the maintenance on our vehicles for years. Their work is good and their prices are reasonable. They won't upsell like so many other places do. We have one vehicle that doesn't get driven much. We faithfully took it for an annual service. They checked it out, even checked the quality of the oil, and told us we didn't need service....saved us money! More recently, they put new tires on one of our vehicles. It road-tested fine around their neighborhood. When we took it on the freeway, something wasn't right. It turned out that the tires had a factory defect. My ML350's battery keeps getting discharged when I don't drive it for a day. I have take it at the Mercedes Benz shop and also at the Juniperro Serra authorize shop- I spent too much and they didn't even fixed the problem- they keep saying it's my battery. The JS shop even told me they fixed everything only the second time because I took it back. THEY ONLY WANTED MY CASH. Recently my TPMS sensor was going off intermittently and for some reason I figured my car was just going through changes in season/temperature so the tire pressure was not adjusting. This went on for several weeks before I had a chance to bring my car in for a diagnosis. I called around for Shops, most were not very pleasant and would not take an appointment for my car. I stumbled across Auto Logic on Yelp and was extremely surprised - they were able and willing to take a look at my car (I knew I had one nail in my tire which was triggering the TPMS). I got to Auto Logic around 6 pm on a Friday evening and was greeted by Ken. He drove my car to the lift, examined all four tires and proceeded to help me remove the nails. *DRUM ROLL PLEASE* - turns out I had a TOTAL of 6 different nails logged into the tires. Although removing the nails, there was also clear tire wear (I had less than 20% tread left). I proceed to make an appointment with Ken to see when I would be able to bring my car in. The following week, I brought my car in (also in the evening). I expected my car to be in the shop for a few days. The next day by 12pm, I received a call that my car was ready for pick up.
