Adorable cafe with some of the lightest and fluffiest pastries. It's unbelievable this place has been there for two years and I am just finding it. Located in the shopping center with Woodside Deli and Gold Gym this place is too cute for Gaithersburg. It barely has a social media presence but it is so photogenic it needs to be more popular. The pastries here are mostly animal shaped. Thus the adorable part. I ordered the following: -Bear shaped cocoa cream puff -minion cakesicle -hello kitty macaron -croque monsuier -basque cheesecake -a ridiculously cute frog cake -brown sugar milk tea Everything tasted as good as it looked. The cream puff had a whipped frosting and a light mousse filling. The savory croque hit the spot when surrounded by sweets. The cake omg could devoured in one sitting by one person. Light cream and filled with strawberries. The pastries here are so light that they almost feel strangely healthy and don't leave you feeling heavy. The bubble tea however, was a little sweet. I would've very much preferred if we had a choice of how sweet it could be but otherwise it's really good. The service is friendly. There's a few tables to sit down and hang out at. Just as cute as all the pictures show - and they bake on site! Prices are also quite reasonable. We had a cake-pop type Madeline decorated Hello Kitty style, that was just $3. In addition to coffee beverages, they have several team and non-caffeinated options as well. I had a honey ginger tea with a ton of ginger slices in the bottom - no tea bags!! The owner was also super friendly and kind - and brought us a sample of fresh baked bread while we were there. Can't wait to go back! read more

So happy there's a new Korean bakery so close to me!! C&C Cafe is such a gem in Germantown. The owners are incredibly sweet, and you can tell a lot of care goes into every pastry. Everything is super cute and actually tastes amazing. Buy your cakes here!! I love that they offer mini cakes, which I desperately need. For a family of four that doesn't really eat cake, these are the perfect solution: smaller size, beautifully made, not overly sweet, and very reasonably priced. The Earl Grey grapefruit cake was delicious. Light, fluffy, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The cake had a subtle Earl Grey aroma, and the grapefruit added a fresh, bright citrus note that cut through the cream without being sour or bitter. It tasted super fresh and didn't feel heavy at all. I also tried a few of their other pastries (cream puff and the custard bread so freaking delish) and loved how curated everything felt, not mass-produced like big bakery chains. Plus, they have seating, wifi, and outlets, which makes it a great spot to hang out. Will 100% be back and already planning to order one of their mini cakes for my next celebration:) read more

This place is wonderful. The baked goods are tasty, half of them are art, and there isn't a single thing wrong with it. Some of the more artistic work is expensive, but it's worth the money for the reactions you'll get when you bring it home. Why have I not stopped by sooner? I told my child they could pick one thing and I walked out with a bag and box because I could not stop myself once I saw all the cute and interesting flavors offered. The lady who helped me was very friendly and helpful, apparently her co-owner makes the cakes. The macaroons had individual decorations and so did the cakesicles. There are a lot of bear decorations. They have a variety of flavors: lychee, blueberry, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, red bean, matcha, and earl grey with grapefruit. That last one was intriguing and so I bought a cake slice and found myself impressed with how the grapefruit pieces work so well with the earl grey cake and fluffy cream. The strawberry matcha basque slice caught my eye and I'm not a cheesecake fan. I'm eyeing the half I saved which might be consumed immediately after I finish this review because I want to taste it again. Despite being desserts, the sweetest thing was the strawberry jam on the basque. They bake breads fresh each day and I slowly kept adding the discounted bread that was baked from the previous day as I kept discovering new flavors. I grocery shop in this shopping center and have seen many restaurants come and go over the past 20 years. Today, I decided to stop by this cafe and I'm very glad I did. The treats were delicious. I got the early grey and grapefruit cake. Frosting was perfectly sweet to balance the grapefruit. I also got a passion fruit ade which was super refreshing and bubbly. But what made my visit was the hospitality of the woman working. She answered my questions, and gave a little treat to everyone in the store on this cloudy afternoon. Found our new favorite bakery. We had their matcha cream puff and coco cheesecake. The cream was super fluffy and fresh. Their drinks were surprisingly really good. Better than most bubble tea places. Brown sugar milk tea and mango smoothie were excellent. The staff were really friendly and even gave us some freebie full sized samples. We often go to the franchise Korean bakeries, Paris baguette and Tour de Jours, but this is fresher and a little more affordable which is nice. read more

We went on Sunday around 6 PM, and the shop was quiet with only us there. The service was nice and friendly. The shop is fairly new (about 5 months) and has a lot of cute desserts. Wonderful visit. The staff was extremely nice, I asked for a recommendation on which cheesecake to get and the lady recommended the Vanilla and it was delicious. Not too sweet just right. Was planning to eat it at home and couldn't wait, finished the whole thing while there. I've been tired of drinking mainstream coffee so wanted to check out this place, coffee was good. Their layered cakes (I tried the blueberry and earl grey) on a different visit and it was pleasant. Will be coming back to try other things. Why is no one talking about this place online? The food is so tasty and so so cute! Apparently it's been open since last summer, but I just now learned about it. The service was excellent, staff is friendly, and drinks were soooo good. My mom got the butterscotch latte, tasty and not too sweet. I got an iced matcha latte and enjoyed that too. Opened a couple days ago, this small cafe and bakery is an ideal place to wind down. Currently has some tarts, cream puffs and cakes with some interesting flavors such as grapefruit! The cream puffs are decorated as small animals which I find adorable. The decorated cream puffs has a delicious outer shell like a Hong Kong pineapple bun but with a nice crunch. I had a thai latte which is nice and not overwhelming sweet. I had a walnut tart which by the way might throw people off. The tart consists of a banana base which I did not expect, definitely would have picked a more suitable drink if I knew! Price is pretty fair too unlike a chain bakery inside a Korean supermarket that's nearby. While they are still adjusting and new, I am fairly impressed. I could look into the kitchen and see the baker working on the cakes! I look forward to coming back and trying the rest of the menu. read more
