My sweet tooth led me here. I love Paris Baguette and this was my first location. I always get a strawberry croissant or a small slice of cake. I had to hold some restraint because I would have bought everything cause its that good. They are sort of similar to Tous Le Jour. When you walk in, the counters are filled with pastries and breads that look fresh and delicious. I had one and it was very fresh, buttery and very good. There's seating inside, but the seating area is pretty small and some people were at tables looking like they weren't going anywhere anytime soon. It was a nice morning, so we were able to grab an outside picnic table. The service was decent. One disappointment was when the counter person asked me if I wanted room for cream in my coffee, I said yes and asked if they had nondairy products. She said they had almond and soy. I asked for soy and she returned with my drink. When I went to pay, I saw they charged 79 cents for almond, soy and oatmilk. Ok. Here's the thing. I assume it's on the board and I should have looked, but she also could have mentioned it. Also, charging for these items when they put a little in your coffee leaves me feeling like I'm being abused for not being a dairy person. I get it - it's a pastry shop and the items are buttery and rich from cream. But please - 79 cents for a little soy milk? (I know this isn't uncommon for coffee shops, but it doesn't make it right.). And the coffee ($4.25) was decent - not great. I expected better (richer, more flavorful) coffee from a nice pastry shop like this. Everything else was tasty too, but I did not enjoy the salt bread, maybe because I've had the actual thing in Korea lol. Would pass on that item. But overall, a great spot for pastries! We had a gathering with some friends and decided to get a cake here due to excellent service in the past including experiencing a positive response to the other folks eating the same cake. The cake I got was the Chocolate Hazelnut Layer Cake with Nutella. It was my first time ordering through their app. The process was simple, and I liked the fact that I was able to select both the date and time (15-minute increments) on when to pick it up. Once inside, I provided my name to the employee at the counter and the cake was ready. While there, I also got a Nutella Latte and a few additional pastries including an Almond Croissant (Yum). I discovered the Nutella Latte is similar to the Chocolate Hazelnut with Nutella Latte I had last year. Great choice. Update: Everyone in our group loved the cake. Bonjour, Mon Ami! ( Hello, my friend...) It is good to visit and enjoy your delicious pastries! Even though I arrived late in the day, the pastry cases were full of enticing baked goods. There was every kind of croissant you can imagine. I bought my favorite almond croissant. There were fruit and cream filled pastries. I bought a fruit and cream filled pastry too. There were a lot of chocolate delicacies. I am going to buy some on my next trip. The ambiance is lovely. There are tables and chairs to sit and enjoy your sweets. The cutest unexpected little bakery in Bethesda! I actually just randomly stopped in to use the restroom, but once I saw all the cakes and goodies, I was completely drawn in. The way they present their desserts is so adorable, it instantly caught my attention. I didn't even eat my dessert the same day. I saved it for the next day and brought it to work to share with a coworker. We had the cheesecake, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Recently swung by Paris Baguette to pick up a birthday cake for my sister. Opted in for their Biscoff Cheesecake and was not a fan. It was way too heavy and sweet so personally would not choose that again. However I do love their other cake options. Service was very good. Time for an updated review! I love that this cute coffee shop continues to rotate their pastry selections (seasonally). Top faves include the ham and cheese croissant and the pastel de nata. Reminds me of McDonald apple pie but I like those so not an insult. Maybe just not something that's worth getting here. The other apple turnover thing was also underwhelming but fine. Maple pecan SOOOO GOOD! SWEET AND FLAVORFUL AND THICK! Wasn't the biggest fan of the milk bread... at all. Tiramisu tart is too hard and dry. Also not a fan at all. Boston cream is ok. Very plain. Possibly not worth it to get here just because it's not crazy good. All in all they have a very large selection of yummy things. Everyone can't like everything and I feel like the amount of things I like is more than enough to be satisfactory. I also think the prices are fair. Love Paris Baguette! I parked in parking garage C which is free and next to the Trader Joe's although it was pretty competitive to get the spot. It was close by to the Paris baguette as well, walking through a very nice area with outdoor benches. I got the two Halloween themed donuts which were absolutely adorable and so delicious and sweet. First time purchaser, and the coffee-themed cake was a killer. :) I'd been looking at something to get for someone's birthday. This place came up a few times, wasn't sure if it was a hassle going there to pick one up but I'm glad I did. It was spur-of-the-moment, an appointment fell through and a big event was coming up. Skipped on over, found quick parking 2-3 blocks away. Sidled in and... This is the good stuff. The place is bright and shiny, not at all rustic like some places (such as Madelaine's) used to be. But that's fine. It's nice. Anyhow, waited in line and by the time I got to the front had to ask if the cakes on display were real. They looked so good I thought maybe they were plastic samples. He laughed and said yeah they're all real cakes. I fumbled for words and basically pointed at the coffee-shaped cake. Then while they were ringing it up I got another box and picked a few pastries. We were one-and-done and i was out in under 10 minutes. I'm not saying this is 'heaven'. But that cake was worth it. The frosting wasn't too sweet, it was just right. I had a lovely experience at Paris Baguette in Germantown today. I have already shopped at this location more than 30 times. The service was warm and attentive, and today I picked up the Oreo ice cream cake and a chocolate cake. Both were fantastic. The Oreo cake had that fun, creamy texture that kids and adults both enjoy and the chocolate cake was rich but not overly sweet. Both looked beautiful and tasted freshly made. Paris Bagette is a great place to grab a snack, their treats are very tasty. I would not recommend them if you are planning a party. There was misunderstandings from their end, and they tried to charge me additional costs for their mistakes. Thankfully one of their managers, Emilian, was able to waive the additional fees. Also, the cake I requested was not the cake they provided (see pictures). I was not told beforehand that they were not able to make the cake I was looking for. Was very excited to try Paris Baguette! Located in the old Noodles & Co. spot in Rockville Towne Square, you'll be using garage parking most likely, but service was quick and friendly so if you want to sit and eat there you should have a comfortable amount of time without worrying about paying for parking. Speaking of dining in, there are a handful of tables. It's not a huge space, but it doesn't feel cramped either. Bright, clean, easy to move around even when busy. It was a little tricky to sit with a group of 6 of us, but we managed to nab a couple extra chairs to add to a booth table and made sure not to tie it up too long. I'm going to have to go back and try some of their savory menu items, we just focused on 'dessert' our first visit and enjoyed all of it. I personally tried the Chocolate ganache cake slice- light but still chocolatey :) The iced lattes and teas also hit the spot. Always appreciate having local, fresh bakery options and the French/South Korean fusion has so many tasty options to choose from, I'm going to have to come back and try more :) read more

Came upon this bakery cafe by chance while passing through Rockville Town Center. Apparently it's one of a chain with Korean ownership with most outlets in VA but none in DC. On a Sunday this seems to be the busiest place in the whole town center area. This is a bigger store than the small Fresh Baguette (not same owner but also Euro style) we have in our neighborhood and has much more variety. Lots of delicious pastries and cakes as well as sandwiches. There is seating both inside and out. The mocha cake is my favorite although the cake slices are all pretty pricy at $7 for a pretty small piece. Nevertheless cost notwithstanding it's a nice place to stop for a bite, sweet or savory or both. read more

Wow. I love this place and will absolutely be returning for every coffee visit I have in Rockville. I visited twice last week and was pleased with both visits. Apparently this is a small chain in the area. I adore the employees who are fun, kind, and always ready to help. The coffee and pastries are both top quality. Definitely don't skip it when they offer to warm up your pastry. Paris Baguette has all three character quality pieces I hold in highest regard when it comes to my business meeting locations: free WiFi, low music, and lots of seating. Where I'm from in Va, we're surrounded by a bunch of Korean bakeries and cafes so running into this Paris baguette in Rockville was awesome!! I've been meaning to visit some cafes here in MD as it's a comfort space with its food and drinks and I'm happy to have stumbled upon here. All the bread, pastries and cakes are carefully made and at a decent price. You can find sweet breads such as fluffy milk bread and choux cream bread and also get pastries like flaky croissant and danish. So I'm pretty sure you will find breads you can enjoy here. Each item is tasty, not too sweet, and buttery. I'd like to try other savory items and some sandwiches for lunch next time. Indoor seating might be limited depending on the time of the day, but there are some outside seating areas in front of the cafe or around this area. Friendly and efficient check-out. I stopped in today for the first time around 1:30. Even with the limited seating in the Cafe, we were about to get a table for two. Service is good. The bakery cases were pretty full. Everything looks delicious. We had to refrain from taking one of each. We ordered a couple to eat there - sweet rice donut and fruit bite. Perfect size and hit the spot. We ordered a few things to go - chocolate croissant, danish, and lemon iced pound cake. Only lemon iced pound cake went home with me - it was delicious. Overall experience was terrific. Service was on point and quite fast, with a friendly smile and was asked if I needed any help finding anything else too. Location is really ideal with the parking garage connected to the building and also near Trader Joe's parking garage right across the street too. I was heading to the Regal movie theater and in a hurry so I was delighted to see there were no lines and I was in and out just in time. Got the egg tart and fruit tart along with an egg salad sandwich. Both desserts were tasty but thought the egg salad sandwich was a bit plain and could have used a bit more taste or salt. The interior was really inviting and had window seating which were brightly lit. I like the layout of the seating areas and the self serving pastry sections. I would definitely be back to grab some cake next time when I am in the area, and maybe even try a latte when I'm not in such a hurry.
