The staff is always wonderful. They are kind and welcoming. Since this was my first visit they did 3D scanning and took a few photos of my teeth. Once they were done I waited to discuss my plan with Dr. Da Silveria. She is very patient and friendly. She put the pictures of my teeth and the scan that they did on the wall and she went over a plan with me and explained everything. She answered all my questions. After our consultation I spoke with another person about payment. It is expensive but they offer payment plans. I look forward to seeing the results in the future.

His bottom and top front teeth protrude badly at an angle after treatment was concluded. They are not at 90 degrees/straight up and down, as they should be. In addition, his bottom front teeth hit his top front teeth when he bites down and his top and bottom molars are not aligned. He is not happy with how he looks and now will not smile at all. After 2.5 years, the day he got his braces off should have been one of joy and pride, but instead he was crushed. The doctor told us that this was the best she could do. In hindsight, he clearly needed teeth removed in order to have a satisfactory result. This option should have been discussed with us before treatment began, so that we could understand the options and make a choice - either pull teeth and get front teeth at 90 degrees, or don't pull teeth and get front teeth that protrude like "buckteeth" at an angle. This was not discussed and the doctor made a bad judgment call. We paid nearly $7000 and lost 2.5 years because of all of this. We have since visited another orthodontist to understand what needs to be done to fix his teeth. The answer was exactly what we expected - he needs 4 premolars extracted in order to move those front teeth to an upright 90 degrees PLUS another 2 YEARS IN METAL BRACES. In addition, this has cost us another full orthodontic treatment fee, so the $7000 we paid this office was worthless. That a junior in high school is willing to go back into braces for an additional 2 years tells you how badly he hates the results of orthodontic treatment at this office. We have paid for and he will start his second set of braces with a different orthodontist in two weeks.

My case was such, however, that it took a long time to correct my bite, and halfway through my treatment Dr. Dykes retired. I was unsure of how I felt about another dentist taking over, but Dr. Bolerjack went the extra mile in making sure I was completely comfortable and professionally addressed all of my concerns throughout the remainder of my treatment. In addition, my two favorite assistants who were always kind, funny and a delight to know, also stayed through the transition, showing me their compete trust in Dr. Bolerjack. I can honestly say that I am happy with the results and have so much to smile about! Thank you, Lakeway Ortho for taking such good care of me and meeting all my expectations!

My aligners had been made but they were all still in a box, when I called Lakeway Orthodontics and they agreed to take over my case. That was the best thing that could have happened, because Dr Bolerjack and his staff have just fitted me with my retainers that I only wear at night,--I am finished and my teeth look great after less than a year. This practice is exceptional in every way from their orthodontic expertise to their caring attitudes for everyone both young and old. I had braces in my early 20's and again at 78. Thank you, Dr. Bolerjack and staff for making it such a pleasant experience.

Do Not Take Your Child Here…read more I have never left a Yelp review in my life, but I created an account just to leave a 1-star review. This is the worst medical practice, of any specialty, that I have ever had the misfortune to interact with. My child is an orthodontics patient. He has now had 4 different orthodontists, over the course of a single set of braces, because the orthodontists keep quitting, and they keep hiring new ones. Every orthodontist has a new treatment plan, and every orthodontist has made errors that prolongs the treatment. The first orthodontist could not glue the brackets on appropriately. We had brackets falling off mere hours after an appointment, and he would never apologize or change technique, but would instead just blame my child. Another orthodontist lectured my child about wearing his rubber bands incorrectly, until we showed her photographic evidence that he was wearing them exactly as she had instructed. Another recommended filing down one of his teeth (!), which we declined. That one bounced after less than 6 months with the practice, and the most recent orthodontist said that this (painful, expensive) intervention was be totally unnecessary. If I had the money, I would have started over with another practice, but unfortunately I've already paid these people and I don't have second-set-of-braces-for-one-child money. I took my other child for a consultation with another orthodontist, and mentioned that my oldest child was with Lone Star. She said, and I quote, "Yikes. That's a bad practice. I think it's been taken over by a VC firm, which is why it's constant turnover." I haven't even touched on the disorganized and understaffed front office, or the difficulty communicating with the office in case of urgent matters. 0/10, worst medical office ever. Do not trust your child's teeth with these people!
