My wife brought the car in for tire installation, they gave a same morning appointment after another shop I had been using wouldn't do the job because they didn't want to swap in the new TPMS sensors, despite charging for TPMS service! They did a good job, went above and beyond and when there was a small glitch they worked to rectify it. To me, this is where a business shows their true quality, how they handle a problem. They were courteous, professional, the tires and TPMS are now great and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended! read more

I've been have my vehicle repairs done at C&D for about 6 years. I recently had some work done to my '06 vehicle's air-conditioning which had several problems. It was repaired for a decent price and on a timely basis. When I picked up the vehicle the AC went out a few inures later. I took the vehicle back and reported the problem. It turned out to be another part had gone bad (not uncommon given the vehicle'a age). C&D fixed it at no charge- not even for the part they had to install! Great customer service! Bob is FANTASTIC! :o) After going to another mechanic who basically dismissed my opinion and spoke "down" to me for being a woman, I felt a bit disillusioned trying to find another mechanic. But after checking out these reviews and meeting Bob, Steve, and the C&D team in person totally assuaged my fears; they gave me honest and accurate advice and appraisal. We took my 2014 Toyota Prius in for an oil and filter change - We had an appointment for 1 p.m. on a Friday. First time at C&D. The place is spotless - no trash, no old car parts laying around the parking lot - very professional. They took my information, took my keys and told me that the service would be 30 to 45 minutes. We decided to walk down the street to check out the Foosner Art Museum to kill 30 minutes. The actual service ultimately required about 65 minutes, but everything seemed very straightforward - no upselling. This was a 'low stress' experience. I'll be happy to return. read more

Not very happy with them right now as they broke the positive battery cable on our Van and never told us about had to have it jumped started in this cold weather to get husband to work when we found out what they did. Really just couldn't believe it and not tell us. So not it's going to be costing us more money and someone else fix this problem as is wasn't what it was brought in for, it was brought in for oil leaking under the engine, ready what does soldering our positive cable wires have to do with and oil leak. read more

We had a massive oil leak in our 01 Acura TL and we took it to our normal repair shop. Quoted $1031.00 saying the leak was from the oil pump. Of course we took it to several other shops for second opinions and we ended up at C&D upon a friends recommendation...thank goodness..its the BEST place!! Everyone was honest and made me feel 100% comfortable with this big repair. Steve, the president, stayed in touch with me throughout the whole repair and explained everything that was needed to be completed. His estimate came in at $1250.00, much higher, but we walked out of the shop only paying $200! By him saying "We won't know exactly where the leak is coming from until we get in there, but IF this is what we think then that is the highest it will be". I knew right then he wasn't going to do the repair and rip me off. Turns out all it needed was a few gaskets replaced and an oil change! IF we would have gone with either of the other two shops I am sure we would have end up getting the whole timing belt kit, new oil pump etc. replaced, because "why not do the replacement while they were in there!" (Even though it really didn't need to be replaced!) I highly recommend C&D and this will be our new place for car repairs!! read more

I went there after a bad experience with Tire Kingdom and Discount Tire. I have tried a few local shops and I was disappointed. I am going to say that I think I have finally found a local business that I can trust. I have 3 vehicles in need of service. A 2002 Nissan Frontier, a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer, and a 1993 RX-7. I am going to have to say the price was great for tires and shocks, the alignment took a while because they don't do it on site. I am going to bring my Lancer in and see what happens. read more

I have had my daughters car repaired here several times and I have always been very pleased with their service. I took her car in early May with a list of items to check. They came back with most items being less than what I expected, but told me that the air compressor was going out which wasn't one of the things that I ask them to check. That total bill was nearly $1,500.00. One of the items on my list of things to check was for a possible gas leak. I had told them that we were smelling gas after she had driven it and ask them to check that out.They told me that they didn't find any gas leaks. In the past 6 weeks we have continued to smell gas so I took it back. I was told that they had "sniffed" the car the first time and didn't smell gas so they didn't think there was a problem. This time they said that the fuel pump was going bad, this bill was over $600. My biggest complaint here is that with something as important and potentially dangerous as a gas leak, perhaps a more detailed inspection over just sniffing the car would be better. Of course knowing the history of this industry I wonder if I really needed the compressor because it wasn't making any noise and the air seemed okay, but is colder now. I don't know for a fact that they sold me something that I didn't need, but it is often a concern in car repair. However, they have overall always seemed honest in this area. read more

I don't recall ever being so disappointed in a company when I was initially told by Joe C & D treated a single woman with the respect and honesty she deserved in servicing her vehicle. A few weeks ago my check engine light came on, I called to make an appointment to have an evaluation. At the time they reset the light but Joe told me if it happened again to bring it in and I may need a part replaced at a cost of approximately $200.00. This past week the light came on so I brought it in & was told again by Joe that the sensor appears to have been damaged and I would need to have the whole unit (canister, etc) replaced at a cost of $647.00. He also indicated that if the job wasn't done soon I was taking the chance of being stuck at a gas station because I would not be able to pump gas into the tank. In addition to being on a fixed income I was shocked with the information because none it made sense. One thing mechanics seem to forget when dealing with a single women with half a brain that we have access to so much information on the internet, etc. I did my research and found I was correct except for the possibility the sensor failed (cost appx. $20.00) all of the remaining diagnosis was BS. Just to be sure my research was correct I spoke to a couple of gentlemen in the automotive field and they were as shocked as I was that I would be taken advantage of in such a way. Just to be clear I have never had a problem paying when there is a repair to done. Before moving to Florida I had a mechanic in NH for 13 years who knew how to treat all his clients with the utmost respect. C & D you have lost a client!! read more

My appt to have 2 new tires mounted and balanced started out great...then after many appts and the tech telling me to my face that he balanced them, when in fact I know they didn't, and many different weights added and then removed they claimed my rim was bent, they basically could not balance a tire...had to go elsewhere to have them balanced, and pay a different garage to balance them for me. Thanks alot C & D Auto Center for the extra charge I had to pay!!!!! read more

Best shop in all of Brevard County, in my humble opinion. I have taken my cars there on multiple occasions. I recently needed my AC repaired.
