I went to Marty's Auto with auto body repair that I needed to have done! I jack knifed my trailer by accident on a Friday afternoon about 3 pm and I was heartbroken! My truck didn't have not one scratch on it and I did a ton of damage to my rear quarter to my beautiful truck that had less than 15 k on a 2023 Toyota Tacoma double cab! My body shop I used to go to retired out of the business after 40 years and I heard through word of mouth Marty did excellent work so I immediately took my truck down to have them look at the vehicle! I met with the secretary when I walked through the door who was very friendly and had me meet with Sam the adjuster who was very helpful and friendly person! He calmly told me that the damage I did can be easily replaced because it was all bolt on and can be painted before it gets put on the vehicle! I sold Toyota for 38 years and sold myself this vehicle and did not know that! I was a nervous wreck! He said to drop the truck off that Sunday night and while we were talking he ordered all factory parts! Two and a half days later the vehicle was done perfectly and properly without blending paint! They matched the paint perfectly! He also never asked for parts money up front! He never knew me from a hole in a wall before this encounter! What a guy! Marty came out at the end and took the car back to take care of a chip I had no charge! I highly recommend Marty! You can't ask for a better repair facility! Both Sam and Marty are awesome! I made an appointment the first week of December 2025. earliest appointment I could get was the 12th of January. I had a collision with a deer caused some front end damage. small buckle in 1 fender, broken mirror grill broken. no other visable dents. couldn't open front hood. that being said, I couldn't have the van inspected or an oil change for over a month. received a confirmation of appointment call today (1/7/25) for Monday January 12 at 8:30. asked at that point would the van be ready by the 28th of January? The answer was no it's in for 2 and a half weeks. I couldn't be promised. I wasn't expecting that answer. I said in December i needed the van on the 28th of January. I'm reluctant to get the reason out why, I said to the appraiser I believe his name was Sam, I'm planning a trip to Florida with my son from January 28-February 6. that is all I was asking. I am dying of a stage four esophgeal cancer. It's important to me To go. The shop was aware of this and made no big deal to get it to work For me. The rudeness, arrogance was awful. I owned a business and was customer service minded for 45 years. To think your so important in business, is beyond crazy. There are many more businesses out there. to have the attitude the customer will still have the job done by us Is wrong. read more

They were rude in office, disrespectful of my time, and then reneged and refused to cover the rental. They lied about "losing my paperwork" (the insurance company had it date stamped that they'd sent it). Really, who needs this aggravation when you're in a vulnerable spot? They not only made it look like new again but noticed an issue that I had battled my car dealership with for months that they never fixed , dreaded driving . Terrible service. My cars trunk and bumper had to be replaced which they said would take 3-5 days. Apparently the part they ordered for my trunk came in damaged so it was going to take another week. This was not communicated to me and I only found out because I reached out to them. I was also paying for the rental out of pocket since my insurance had not yet resolved my claim. I told them I didn't think I should have to pay for the rental for another week because it wasn't my fault the part came in damaged and they refused to help out in any way. I called Marty's to see if he does accident appraisals (my car was totalled and I'm tussling with my insurance company about the settlement amount). The FAQ section of Marty's website dealing with insurance issues was so well-written and understandable, I figured I'd give him a call even though I live fairly far away (in Boston). Marty took the time to listen to all the details of my situation and then gave me straightforward, practical advice (that incidentally, did *not* include paying him for his services!) It was extremely gratifying to talk with someone who clearly values honesty and customer service so highly. Given the time and expertise he shared with me - a simple call-in - I can only imagine the level of knowledge and care he must give to his regular paying customers. Even considering the distance (~30 miles) I think I might be using Marty's for any auto bodywork I need from this point on. read more

I had a bad experience. The guy was real rude to wife as well, bragging about his years in the business as he talked down to her. They fought with us about tiny damage being from a previous accident...meanwhile the whole bumper was being replaced. I felt like they were working for the insurance company instead of for me. They told me it would be an hour and half before someone could get there and if I wanted to call someone else. She didn't give me any names of tow trucks in the area. I'm very surprised to see Lisa's comment. I've been going to Marty's for several years after a "friend of a friend" recommendation, and I could not be happier. I've mostly worked with the staff, who have ALWAYS been cheerful and pleasant. The few times I've spoken with Marty, as the other reviews state, he is very helpful and knowledgable. Whether the job was paid by insurance or out of my pocket, prices have always been reasonable. The work is top notch, completed on time, and all paperwork handled properly and efficiently. I've never been out back, and I don't know why Lisa was denied access, but I'm sure the decision was not made lightly. "Cold" and "Impersonal" are words I would never have thought would be used in connection with this business. If you need a great place to have work done on your vehicle, you will NOT be disapointed here! read more

On the slip it says pick up by Norfolk Auto because that is the company I called the following day to get the car off your property. Perhaps you should have a better understanding of the situation. Furthermore, the ridiculous charge of $125 for excessive clean up is fraudulent plain and simple. There was little debris and no broken glass and the antifreeze was cleaned up by the fire department. One plastic headlight cover was the extent of it. Your company did not clean up anything. As a business owner, I understand the need to have certain minimums for services provided. My problem is your company not being satisfied with $143 to tow the vehicle 150 feet into your yard and keeping it one day. You had to make my sons first accident a little more stressful because of your greed. I will make the time to bring your company to court purely on principle. As a 20 year town resident, I promise I will use every means available to make residents aware of your business practices. Also know that I intend to file a complaint with the Mass DPU and BBB. read more

They are repairing cars three weeks out. The receptionist is rude and answers the phone with a bark "Marty's". This doesn't sit well with us and we cannot wait three weeks for repair to our car. Exceptional workmanship and customer service. You often have to sacrifice one for the other but not at Marty's. I was in what I thought was a minor fender bender heck the other vehicle, a large SUV, had no damage and i was planning on paying out of pocket. I went to Marty's on the recommendation of several coworkers and I am so happy I did. They advised that I go through my insurance to get an estimate. I was shocked at the figure the adjuster for my insurance company came up with. Needless to say I wasn't going to pay out of pocket. I scheduled my appointment. The shop waiting area is comfortable, clean, bright, and everyone was very pleasant. It speaks volumes about the kind of business they run and the care they will take with your car. A rental car was waiting for me when I dropped my car off. Sam and the team at Marty's kept me up to date on everything, answered every question, and worked with my insurance company even through the aren't an affiliated shop. My car looks amazing. All the parts line up perfectly and you cannot tell that the paint on my repaired grill and fender wasn't the original factory paint. I try to take good care or my cars because I keep them for a long time and I worked hard to pay for them. My car is as good as new. Thanks to the team at Marty's for the wonderful job they did. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Aside from the fact that my windshield is COVERED with millions of tiny droplets of paint and the molding around the window is also covered in paint because these JERKS didn't properly prep the car before painting they Extremely rude on the phone starting with hello, SLOW, SLOW, SLOW to repair. My 2014 Mazda 6 was in for a crumpled bumper (just over $1,000 so very minor) it took two weeks for them to complete the work. One week to receive the parts (not their fault) another week for the work and I was promised it would be ready late Tuesdy/ealry Weds on the second week and couldn't pick it up until Friday. Also the car was dirty inside with tracks from work books and the leather trim on passenger side where repair work was being done was covered with prints/smudges in some type of fine white dust. Outside where the work was done the same white powder smudges so clearly they did a half arse job cleaning up their mess. Overall I would NEVER go there again and I would NEVER recommend. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else. read more

My car had significant rear-end damage and Marty's towed my vehicle from the accident site back to their lot. After my insurance company decided that my vehicle may be a total loss and that they wanted to tow the car to their own storage site, my husband and I headed over to Marty's to clear out all of our personal belongings. This was within 48 hours of our accident and both of us were suffering from severe back and neck pain. After seeing another customer drive their car behind the lot to empty their personal belongings, we went inside to ensure we could do the same (as the man we asked in the back told us to ask Marty - the owner). We clearly explained to the receptionist how we had already emptied all of our belongings into bags but were hoping Marty would understand our wish not to have to lug each bag the 300+ feet from the rear lot to our vehicle in the front with our injuries. The front desk woman told us to wait for Marty to return to the office area for permission. After several minutes of waiting, and NO attempt to contact Marty wherever he was in the facility, she told us we could not bring our car in the back (even though there was another customer back there and the fact that we were both in extreme discomfort especially to take multiple trips with our personal items). They were very cold and impersonal. Their office staff were rude and left both of us with a bitter taste (and each of us with back/neck in worse pain than when we arrived). I personally would rather take my busirness to a company who cares about their customers. I felt it was worth letting others know so they too can take their business elsewhere if they feel the same. read more
