They were not able to finish, and this was for a rental, so said they would return the morning of the day my first Airbnb guest arrived. I then received an invoice for $310. I called the owner to clarify and she said that they charge $130 for the first two hours and $30/hr per cleaner for every hour thereafter. I told her I was not made aware of that and asked that she come back for only one more hour the following day. Meanwhile, I found that the work completed was very obviously done poorly. There was a large mud stain on the tub, band-aids and stickers left on the floor which was not mopped, the wood stove untouched and covered in ashes, the rug was not vacuumed, the windows were not cleaned, and the house was not dusted. Luckily, I was able to find someone else to clean last minute for me and I cancelled the follow up cleaning with Afresh. I wrote Andrea from Afresh to let her know that I needed to pay a cleaner $150 for a complete and thorough job. Combined with the fact that she quoted me $130 and then charged me for hourly work I did not commit to, did not seem fair to me. I offered to deduct $150 from her invoice and pay her the difference to acknowledge the work her staff did complete. She sent me a long text about how she's praying for me followed by a text threatening to take me to court. My most generous interpretation of this incident is that Andrea forgot to quote me the full price and her staff was just not thorough. Unfortunately, I fear that this company quotes one price, works slowly to rack up a high hourly charge and then tries to intimidate customers into paying.

Communication was constant,…read morepricing was fair, and I still can't get over what a wonderful job they did cleaning my house! Thank you, thank you! Something they also did that impressed me- my 6 year old's room was a disaster. I didn't know what to expect, but I came home to all her stuffed animals neatly arranged on her bed and I thought it was such a sweet touch! If we weren't moving so soon, I'd absolutely hire them again!

We have used Elizabeth and her company for several years to clean our property. However, her…read moreservice and customer service has went down the drain. She was supposed to do a full move-out cleaning for our property and charged almost $500 to do so. The home is 3 bed 2 1/2 bath. We had to call her back twice to correct and clean several areas that were very obvious but skipped and missed. Her move out cleaning fee includes the balcony but she did not clean it despite charging almost $500. In the past we paid $375 for her company to clean the same house multiple times and everything was cleaned. We had to hire another company to come out and do a deep cleaning since so much was missed and what they attempted to clean was done poorly. They didnt clean the walls, floors are sticky, refrigerator dirty in certain spots, and they didnt clean the window sills. The house also smelled horrible and not like she even attempted to clean properly. Elizabeth was nasty and rude in her correspondence and combative. She should have offered the full refund but instead doubled down. She wanted to come back a third time to clean and we told her we didn't trust the cleaning at this point. She also we refused to recognize that we were the owners and was making grass remarks. Her company hugely inconvenienced us and set our timeline back. We will be removing this company from all of our properties moving forward. Find a reputable cleaning company, but stay away from this one. They will not hold themselves accountable and have poor business ethics. She clearly.doesn't understand how rental properties work woth property.managers and tenants and owners. The pictures say a lot.

That says a lot about her, and her professionalism. I have added a star to my original review for this reason. ____________________________________________________________ Honest review of Busy Bee Cleaning- I read all the glowing 5-star reviews and called Busy Bee to come deep clean my new house. They came and cleaned my house yesterday, and if I'm honest, I'm a bit disappointed. After they left, I found several kitchen cabinets had been missed (I found a squished jelly bean and some bullion cubes in one), several of the window blinds (office, laundry room) had been missed, there was a hair in the upstairs guest bathroom, and the floors had been vacuumed but not mopped (except for the office). Worst of all, there were loads of crumbs in the kitchen drawers. No wonder I have ants! When you clean with a rag, which they did, you can't get into the nooks and crannies, and there were still lots of crumbs in the corners of all the drawers. I realized this as I was putting contact paper in the drawers, and it was not sticking well at the edges.... I pulled it away to see all the crumbs stuck to the paper. As a stickler for good cleaning practices, I can tell you that you MUST vacuum drawers before cleaning with a rag. The reason I hired a service was because I have Lyme disease and moderate arthritis and can't clean as well as I once did. But that does not mean I will settle for a sloppy job. I'm confident they will do better from now on. Read less
