Regular client here for Lisa's pedicures and brow waxes and Kim used to do my nails both are great. Yesterday they weren't in so I saw another tech/owner for my pedicure. One toenail was only half polished. Went back before close but they'd shut early. Texted the tech, no reply. Came back today for a fix and got no apology, just attitude like I was asking too much. WORST NAILS IVE EVER HAD I went to get my nails done had an appointment right an hour before close I had to wait for, a nail tech to open up no big deal right ? go ahead sit down and I ask for a short round metallic purple with moon curve... so easy I think they have it advertised ! so I assume easy set and done! no the poor girl struggles for 30 min on one nail ? which is whatever right but she skips nail steps ? like the prep before the acrylic as well as gel and didn't buff my nails ? and the DREMOL TOOL she scratched all my cuticles TErribley I mean I was crying during the session I thought it was whatever but no I mean she cut me on three different fingers she apologized but still you think it would be whatever i ahve small hands so I can't blame her but I can blame her in getting acrylic into my CUtS as well as the burning pain I felt in my hands I hope I don't get contact dermis! didn't even paint my whole nail either left the sides with no color like for a 75 dollar set which I did get a refund ! but I had to tell them it was the worst set my hands BURN And tingle ! the staff then said after seeing my hand red cuticles it doesn't look bad at all? like you don't see the blood? I was appalled and will never come back and I'd wouldn't recommend this place but if your looking for a chill vibe it does have that with fun videos. read more

I have been coming to this salon for a while. I strongly recommend them. They do it all and go above and beyond. Nini is my girl! She does my nails, pedicure, and eyebrows. My acrylics last a whole month and I do lots with them including lifting weights. In the 20 years I've been doing my nails, this salon is one of the best. I have been going to this place for a couple months and have loved my nails every time. However, I took my 14 year old niece with me last time and we both got full sets. I am not sure what kind of full set she did on my niece but half of her nails were off that evening. My niece told me they didn't do the normal acrylic and instead used a gel? Not sure what this was but they charged the normal price and it was clearly not worth it. This was frustrating as it was a gift to her. Also, I was looking for a certain color so I showed the lady a picture of what I was wanting and asked if they had something similar and she said "probably not", and didn't even try to help. I really wanted to like this salon, it's close to where I recently moved. I saw a Next Door post for this area and a lot of people recommended Lavie. I went in this morning for a gel manicure and I am not impressed. The original gel wasn't removed all the way so you can see it on some of the edges, the gel has bumps and bubbles in it, the edges are uneven and there is polish on my cuticles and skin. The tech seemed to be rushing and it was just overall sloppy. I usually will give a salon a few tries before I'm done but I really don't think I'll try this salon again. read more

For the last two times, I showed her some pictures but had her modify them and she made beautiful designs. The woman who did my pedicure did a great job. However the young girl that did my manicure was obviously new or had little experience. She filed into two fingers so much that they started bleeding. The surface of all of my nails are uneven (I got dip) and there are chunks of polish around my fingers. It's upsetting because it cost $100+ to walk out the door with sores on my hands and a really ugly nail job. I never leave reviews, but I wouldn't recommend this nail place to anyone (maybe my worst enemy). read more

If you are looking for a place that cares about you and what you really want this is the place! I have gone to Lavie nails for 5 rebases already and I have to say I love it.. I have never asked for a specific person I have gotten May, Cindy and Kim (she did my nails in the photo). I have to say they are all so sweet and polite. May (the owner I believe) is beyond amazing she always walks up when I walk to help me decide what I want with no pressure and as I'm getting my nails done she comes and checks up on my nails. Overall my experiences have been so amazing compared to any place I have ever been to because it is rare to get different people each time and they all do outstanding work. Horrible. My mom comes here often and so I thought they'd be great but I thought wrong. The lady who did my nails did not file my nails evenly and when I asked her to do them again she said no. I finally asked her again and she said ok and filed them a little more. Not much better. When she painted them she messed up multiple times. Wish I could post pictures to show you how bad!! Well I have been back a few times now and really feel like things have changed. I walk in and am always greeted with a hello and how are you. I have now been getting my nails done with Cam and he always does a great job. His attention to detail is awesome and he is always willing to try something new on my nails. The pedicures are good I just would like a little more attention to detail (I have only had pedicures done by another employee not Cam) it was still a good experience but honestly that is the only reason I didn't give five stars. I had a great experience at Lavie, my cousin and I came in on a Sunday afternoon wanting to get manicures. I was nervous they wouldn't be able to take us because I knew it was close to closing but they happily took us. My little cousin got a beautiful shellac manicure that she was very happy with, and I got acrylic tips with shellac on top. Everyone working was extremely sweet and helpful! Poor nail work, poor customer service, just bad!!! They can't even do nails right! I asked the lady to please trim my toe nails & she refused. I had to ask her 4 times to trim my nails & she just kept filing them!! Finally I said are you going to trim them or not? She got an attitude & said I don't want them too short. Well guess what lady, they are my nails & I want them how I want them. And I'm a nurse so I have to have them short. And they never have the right color from the one you choose, it's always a couple colors off. The lady painted my one nail pick & kept telling me it was white! Unbelievable! The girl that did my nails was very pushy and rude, she didn't give me my space to pick my color and didn't listen to the shape or length of nail I wanted. She also hurt my fingers. The job the nail tech did was great! I got a normal pedi and shellac mani. The tech was conversational and thorough, but the tech cut my fingernails way too short and nicked my skin.
