We also had a sink hole develop next to the well. We had filled in, but we're not sure it won't open up again. He explained what caused it and what the fix was. If it ever opens up again, I know who I'll call! Last night, we lost water shortly before midnight. I called them at 7:00 this morning as soon as they opened. By 7:30 they were here. Within 5 minutes, they knew what the problem was (a switch). She is replacing the switch right now (she had one on the truck). She said we shouldn't be without water for more than 10 minutes. Update: WE HAVE WATER!! I love these people!

We discovered the coupling on our well pump had broken at 11AM causing water to fill the front…read moreyard. When I called Purvis Well Services, Chris Purvis immediately answered the phone and added us to his schedule for the day. The repair team was onsite within 2 hours. While onsite, Megan and Wes discovered another problem with our tank and just 3 hours after initiating the call, both issues were resolved and we had water once again. Megan and Wes were polite and professional and did a wonderful job explaining things and jumping right in to complete the work. Thank you, Chris, Megan and Wes for addressing our concern with the same sense of urgency we felt and for doing it with kindness and care.

I hate wells. Seriously, they're like some kind of black magic to me. I'm a pretty handy guy but…read morenonetheless, I do know my limits. My well in my house is fairly old. However, it has always worked and our well water is so clean that I can use it to fill the pool with no repercussions from stains, etc. It's one heck of a blessing. Recently the pump just stopped pumping. It was "working" however, nothing was coming out. After trying a few simple troubleshooting techniques, I was done. I called Mr. Johnson and he was very fast, upfront on costs (very fair), and you could tell he came from the school of "I know what I'm doing". The tools he had were definitely pragmatic and Mr. Johnson was very informative throughout the whole thing. I did my best to let him do his thing as he had a very straight forward troubleshooting methodology. If you're in need of well service (not new drilling), then you can stop searching and just call here. Unfortunately there is no pride in workmanship any longer. The well to our new house pumps the…read moreminimum required and reeks like sulfur. When we had Mr Brown out to the property he said he did the minimum required so sad too bad. So at 3GPM we cannot run two things at once, no doing dishes and flushing the toilet at once. No washing clothes and filling a kettle to boil pasta in. The workmanship is piss poor at best.
