Terrible customer service. The guy was very rude. I came in 15 minutes before the store close and while I'm looking at their limited selections he make some comment "let go closing". I have to say that the guy in this store was a pretty upstanding guy. I purchased scalp oil from them. When I made it home, I realized the oil spilled in the bag mad a mess on my vintage dresser and over all of the other items in the bag. I didn't make a fuss out of it. I went back to the store, with the receipt covered in oil and told the lady in back of the store what happened, she basically called me a lier and told me to speak to the guy in the front (which is one reason why I gave it a 4 and not a five). I told him the situations don't he said you can keep this one and go grab one off the shelf. I thought that was good customer service. Granted great customer service would have been, saying sorry for the event and apologizing for having to come back. But given that half my family is Asian, I know that what he meant lol read more

Please don't ever shop at a business that look at you like you are a theft or a suspect and treat everyone of color like trash. Save your money or go somewhere, where you are appreciated at a paying customer. I have 3 daughter's and I went to purchase some ponytails/burrets and the idiot thought I was someone else maybe from a previous incident and treated me like as if I stole something. My purchase was no more than 5 or so dollars. What do I look like stealing something while holding my infant baby and my two other children with me?? This use to be a really good store I don't know what happened. The guy behind the counter will not help you, he wont even come from behind the counter to get something for you and he has no suggestions either. He makes you wait for the 1 lady on the floor that is also helping 20 other customers. The lady that works there definitely knows a little more about hair and the products they do offer. The gentlemen with the ponytail has no answers, at all. He is also very rude. I spend a lot of money there only because its convenient but I'm afraid I wont be going back anymore, I know I am a good customer and I also bring a lot of business that they wont be getting anymore because of the rudeness and poor customer service. read more

Prices are too high especially for the synthetic mixed with human hair, when I can pay the same price for virgin hair elsewhere. They need to get up to date on prices. The customer service is horrible, they are not very friendly people especially the woman who works there. I rather spend my money where someone is pleased to have me buy from their store. I had a very bad experience with C&J beauty supply. The first time I went there to buy hair for braiding my hair was good the price was okay, the second time I went, two little old ladies working there sold me hair that was originally from weaving hair that they took off the weave thread and sold it to me stating it was for braiding, oh by the way, before I left the store she also told me if I didn't like the hair I could bring it back and get store credit,this was a switch and bait business attempt of C&J. She also told me it was human hair, it was really some blend of synthetic and who knows what else. My braider was so upset. It took her 2 hours longer to braid my hair using that type of hair. I could not take the hair back and get any money back only store credit. This was very unfair practice so beware C&J. Once they get you as a customer they tried to switch and bait you on the hair.
