Lindy did a fantastic job recommending and setting up blinds in our new home. She did a full review of our windows and setup, recommended colors and styles, and took measurements all in one day. We were very unsure of what colors we wanted to go with, and she was never pushy. She gave us samples to take home and told us to take our time in making a decision. Once the order was placed, she communicated with us the shipping and arrival time, and setup an appointment for installation once they arrived. Installation was a breeze. You could tell she had been doing this for a while, and she was meticulous in installing them. What I especially liked about her, was her policy of warranty. The Hunter Douglas blinds she installed for us have a lifetime warranty, but she is our point of contact. We don't have to go through some large corporation if something fails. It's nice to have someone who is easy to get a hold of as our point of contact. Lindy came to our home and showed us a wide selection of samples, told us honestly what she thought would work best for our home, was not pushy or aggresive but really knew what she was talking about. Lindy measured the blinds herself then when it was time to install the blinds, Lindy installed everything with the help of a wonderful installer, Sheri Barahona. Both women were very nice, friendly and extremely competent. They cleaned up everything as they went along and were really fun to have around....the installation was a two day process because we installed blinds in nine different locations in our house. I am extremely happy I chose C & L Decorative Blinds to do my window coverings in my new house. From the first phone call, to the last install, Lindy was extremely pleasant to work with. She easy to get a hold of when needed, and was always available. The cleaning that Lindy does is amazing! She was able to get very old stains out of our white (hard-to-clean) Hunter Douglas Silhouettes. I will most definitely use her again when we need our window treatments cleaned. read more

I am so glad that Lindy was recommended to me to clean my fabric blinds. Most of the blinds are 20 years old, she did a great job explaining the process to me and possible problems. She also cleaned our 10 year old silhouette blinds, unfortunately there was a problem with the blinds and they needed to be replaced. Lindy went back to Hunter Douglas and was able to get the silhouettes replaced for us very quickly. Lindy is the best! I needed to replace an old, heavy shutter above the kitchen sink and wanted something pretty and light that could be pulled up and down, but which still provided enough room darkening qualities so that there was no glare on the TV during the day (first-world problems...I know) . Lindy came armed with her sample books and had several great suggestions. She is very knowledgable about all the products the sells, and what they will look like in your home. She is honest about what will be best for the room, and what it takes to clean each product. She was nice enough to leave me with several samples over the course of a few days so I could get a sense of how each blind and color would look at various times of the day. I ended up with a beautiful Hunter Douglas shade that easily pulls up and down with a room darkening option behind it. I am not so sure if I am writing this review in the right place but... If your window covering specialist is Lindy, she is SUPER! My husband and I have only just moved into a very nice 3bedroom condo and our blinds needed to be cleaned. We moved in so quickly that the blinds really were the only thing left to do before move in time that had to be taken care of. Sadly...we were not sure where all the stains came from that were all over them but Lindy was quick to figure it and get them out! She is very prefessional, up front, honest and friendly and took care of the services needed and she even just sent the bill to the landlords who which were taking care of it and price seemed resonable. We have such a busy schedule that it was difficult to get a time to meet but she was very flexible to let us leave her a key while we were gone at work and when we got back home the blinds were SPARKLING WHITE and my cats never escaped either! So, if you need your blinds clean Lindy will be honest with what costs you are looking at and be trust worthy! We are happy with the job. read more

I recently had a flood in our house in the desert and needed to have about 150 high quality fabric vertical blinds cleaned. I could literally find no one willing to tackle the job. Until I was referred to Lindy. After examining them, she figured out how to do the job at her business.
