Received Email from office manager that they did not want to provide estimate, recommend I go with other service provider's to do the work indicating they are extremely busy and their estimator was out of country for two weeks. I spent time and effort to meet with them on my project, sent them equipment listing and to receive the response they did not want to provide an estimate is a little troubling. While he was here, I asked him about the mildew spots on the front of my house. (One single story area measuring 21 ft wide). He said he would try his cleaner on a patch and see how it worked. Apparently, he cleaned that front area of the house He was here 30 minutes longer than anticipated. I paid him cash and he left. Apparently he texted me while I was out and didn't see my phone saying he was underpaid and to please have my husband call him. Before I saw the text, Joseph came back requesting to speak to my husband, not me. He said that the charge was for 440 not 240 for the extra work. He never quoted me an upcharge before doing the extra work. I never would have agreed to such an exorbitant price! He really DID NOT want to deal with me, only my husband saying he knows how it is - he has a wife too! I told him it was poor business the way he approached it, but I would pay him for his time asking him how long it took, and he said an hour extra. I told him that was not accurate that I had it on my ring camera and the time he left was only 30 minutes past the time he had quoted the job would take. Doing the math I told him I would pay him an additional $80. I came in to get payment and when I got back outside, he had left after continuing to speak with my husband. Bad business! Too bad because the job was good except for my sliding glass door tracks, which I have spent the last hour cleaning the wet muck out of! if you use this business make sure you get everything in writing ahead of time and you better have your husband deal with him. When he came in to do the estimate, he really listened to what we wanted, he understood that we were trying to utilize our existing cabinets as much as possible, and he was happy to take on the job.
