The girl who did my nails was completely amateur. The French tip is so off! She did one nail shows it to me and says how it that? I responded it looks horrible! I'm like are you serious it's clearly uneven & ugly! I literally wanted to leave at that point! She keeps going and does a horrible job. Attempting to fix the ugly nails she did. I had to keep pointing out how uneven & bad they were. She puts a clear coat over the fill and you can see the filling underneath. I will never be back here! I ended up letting her trying to finish but at the end it looks bad!! Nails are uneven, the white part is thicker on some & thinner on others. Just very amateur! You'll never see me again & I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

John has been doing my nails for 15 years and his work is the best I've ever had. I wash my hands a lot at work and rarely have a nail lift or break. His artwork is AMAZING. Quality is terrible. My nails were done in record time with little regard to quality. I did go back and have the 2 worse nails fixed only to leave and notice the one she fixed was shorter than the nail on the opposite hand. Some of my nails are round some flat. I was a little skeptical about trying out another shop. I'm just moved from Cali and had nothing but bad experiences at prior shops since I got here. My Co workers had recommended this shop and to ask for windy. I called in the morning and was able to set up an appointment with her the same day, I even arrived sooner then my time and she took me right away. Omg let me tell you Mrs. Windy she does great work, super sweet and down to earth made me feel so comfy and funny as heck! She was very attentive and educated me on some toe nail issues I had going on that I had had no clue was going on! That alone sold me! Truly disappointed. I've been going here off and on for years and this is the second time that I've called to schedule an appointment with a specific nail technician told to come in and I get there and I get an "Oops, so sorry, can you come back tomorrow." Um, no. That's why I called. I have a three year old and it's rare that I have some one who can watch him for me so that I can even have a pedicure. Think twice before scheduling. I went in for an acrylic fill and polish. I was the only customer there. The lady doing my nails proceeded to cut ALL of my natural nails off and put on tips. They were crooked, and not adhered properly! Then when I went to check out I asked to add $5 to the bill for a tip (even though I wasn't happy) I was charged $15 over the cost and when presented the charge slip to sign he covered up the price with his finger. Hope the extra $10 was worth my patronage forever! Would NOT recommend this place. Sad because I had gone there for a few years. read more

It really saddens me that I feel like I need to write this review on behalf of my boyfriend's experience. This place is near our home so he decided to get a BASIC manicure. He was very disappointed that he could've done it better himself, instead of paying $15 for something he had to fix at home right after. This is the basics of doing nails (cutting, shaping, cleaning cuticle) and none of it was done correctly. The nail tech didn't even ask how short he wanted them. This is truly unacceptable. Unfortunately, my bf got a nail tech who didn't care at all. I really hope the owner fixes this problem... Man I takes a lot from me to write a nasty review about a place since it's their livelihood but they just don't care. The layers were uneven, the guy saw airbubbles but didn't care to fix it. They didn't file the excess gel nail polish from the side of my hands and left me with a messed up shaped nails, then a different lady said she could buff out the bubble but when she did she added another layer of gel which wouldn't be a problem but she put a color that didn't match what I got in the first place. First time here and I absolutely loved it! The environment to me was very relaxing and the foot massage was very soothing and the lady that did my feet was very gentle. They have massage chairs, complimentary water (which is amazing bc this heat is killing me) and a little station thingy that I dipped one of my feet in (it's very relaxing) while the other was being worked by the nice lady. read more

They did a get job and instead of doing a new set like I ask she said "don't pay for that and waist money we can save the set you have now". I usually go here to get my pedicures done. They have little massaging chairs you sit in and complimentary water while you are getting your toes done. The technicians are really sweet, quick and gentle with your feet. I love going here because it is only $25 to get my toes done and it doesn't usually take very long. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get in a chair. Usually I just walk in and they have a space open. read more

There was hardly anyone in there, as it was the middle of the day in the middle of the week, so I got in right away for a Pedicure and Acrylic fill. I just had a pedicure a month ago, and they got so much dead skin off the bottom of my feet it was disgusting. She also did a amazing job on trimming my cuticles, which seem to be ignored a lot unless there is a obvious one sticking out. But no, she went to town and that is exactly what I need and wanted. Her attention to detail on my Fill was also great! She had me check each nail to make sure i was happy, and didn't sigh when I had a issue. They seem to use Gelish for their gel polishes and the woman next to me was getting them done and they looked great. read more

I went here with a friend, she said she went to this place, and loves it. I went in to get white tips with glitter (with also having the glitter kind of fade down towards the cuticle. This girl take over an hour, she was constantly filing, yet, they're still uneven. One of my nails, she put the tip on completely crooked, so now it looks diagnal. On my right thumb, there's a bump where she added more gel, and on ALL my nails, the acrylic gel itself is REALLY thick, and uneven. On my thumb, the left side of my nail has thin gel, and then on the right, it gets really thick. it's a nightmare. I paid $60 on the worst nail service I've ever received) The entire time I was trying to have a conversation with my friend (who got a gel manicure, and ended up having to wait 20 minutes after her nail service was finished, and her service was done WITH a hand massage) the lady kept complaining about customers that have been coming through the salon as walk-ins. She cussed and was unprofessional. She was the only white gal in the salon, I don't know her name, but when I went back to the salon to see if they could take care of the thickness, the only thing they did for me was tell me that it's going to look thick beause of the "rockstar gel." Doesn't matter, she should have filed the acrylic to make it even, I even confirmed with my co worker (who always has acrylics) I was kind and left it at that. I honestly didn't want to spend another hour with her while she would probably have an attitude for having to redo my nails. I'm a kind person, and I never write bad reviews. May is so good at putting on acrylics. You barely feel them after she's done. She also does great designs and has fun helping you figure out what you want. I came in for an acrylic full set. I had previous nails on which my nail artist removed. During the removal my thumb was severely cut .. she continued to do my nails and put glue on the cut. I showed her a photo of how I wanted my nails and what I received looks NOTHING like the photo! The polish job is horrible and my nails look different on every single finger . I have nail polish on my skin and access acrylic stuck to my skin, I called to book an appt with one person and when I got there she asked me if I mine if someone else does it -_- she was rushing the entire time and it seemed like she really didn't care about my nails. I have been going to C & V Nails & Spa 2 for over one year now. The owner Ivy does my gel nails faithfully every two weeks, her sister does my eyebrows and Michelle and John are always there working with a smile on their face. My nails are always perfect and so is the service as well as the prices. They always have the best music playing and have recently renovated so the spa chairs provide a quaint relaxing atmosphere. I mean who doesn't want a massage while getting a relaxing pedicure? Went to Chau's first and was told they accept walkins but I wouldn't be serviced until 4 hours later. I'm always at Albertsons next door but never tried C&V. I needed my gel color changed, it so close to home, figured I'd give it a try. Did a walk in around 3 or 4 pm. They were bust but were able to take me right away. Pretty much the average nail salon you'd encounter all over town. Lots of gel colors to choose from. The woman doing my service did a good job, the gel lasted, so I was pleased but their prices are higher than other places I've been for the same quality so I doubt I'd go back for that reason. read more

My feet were so dry I needed help. The girlfriend pleaded with me to go get some footwork done and I finally gave in. What a nice experience! Now for all you guys, it isnt as girly as you would expect. I had a nice glass of wine (I know but there was no whiskey) and they went to work on my feet. Would be great if you could have cigars in here too! Anyhow, they clipped my nails and used what looked like a cheese grater to remove all of the dead skin from the bottoms of my feet. A task which I deemed totally impossible but they accomplished in mere minutes. As I watched ET on TV sipped wine my feet were brought back to a smooth as silk status. I would recommend for any guys who need some assistance in getting your feet up to decent looking status for summer. I probably wont make it a regular thing but I am sure to do it a few more times this summer. I think $50 or so for the whole deal. Made a quick appt. First time here. Their employees were pretty helpful & nice. They have 7 different pedicures to choose from. When you purchase their $45 or more pkg they serve you comp wine or champagne. I opted to just get their $35 deluxe pedi. It comes with a massage, scrub, mask and warm towel compress. The lady was very nice. She always asked if I was ok whenever she made her way around the cuticles. She was sure to be careful which is nice.
