She has many loyal clients who see her for all of their styling needs, but I don't live near-by enough to come on a regular basis. However, I make the trip a couple of times a year to have my hair straightened, and I hope I never have to go anywhere else. Yuna takes the time needed to do an outstanding job: anywhere from almost 4 to around 5 hours depending on how long my hair is and how it's cut. She works in her shop alone, and the bonus is, she's wonderful company and an awesome "host." She even has a flat screened tv set up in her pleasant shop to help pass the time. Not many people do Japanese straightening anymore, I think because it's so time-consuming and labor intensive, but her price is more than reasonable, and my hair always comes out glossy straight and..yes.. healthy. She's a professional, and my hair's health has always been her priority. Unfortunately, I said yes, and I was really disappointed. The wash felt rushed, and my long hair was blow-dried in about 20 minutes. The ends were left straight, and even after I asked for them to be curled inward, the final result still looked unfinished, like I had done it myself. This was for my graduation, and the photo was taken right after leaving the salon. Definitely the worst blowout I've ever gotten.
