Haven't had a bad dish in this restaurant... or a bad drink. We love to get a craft drink or a whiskey we can't find locally and they have the good ice cubes. The owner is always there and helping out where help is needed, he stands by his work, I wonder how many hours he works in a week. The bartender we like is Sam (might be something else, sorry bud) but he's super knowledgeable on spirits and super talented when it comes to a solid craft drink. I tried to eat here with my two kids because I've heard the food was good, well we didn't make it past the host stand. The guy at the stand was so rude. I asked how long the wait would be for 3 people. Simple enough question to ask someone at the host stand...you would think. But, no he was so rude and said he has no idea and whatever estimate he gives me I'm going to be "pissed". I said I'm not pissed at all just wanting to know if my two small children are going to have enough patience to wait. Just found a new a new favorite spot, used to be a local and never had the pleasure. Highly recommended, go in and ask for Jamie. Her service was quite flawless and timed everything perfectly. We saw some stellar reviews for this place, so we had to check it out! Upon arrival, we did not have to wait. Since the store was at a certain capacity, we had to sit outside. We were fine with this because of safety reasons and it was a gorgeous day out. One of us in our part of five ordered the C-platter. It lacked flavor, despite the tartar, cocktail, and butter sauces. Another ordered Grouper which had tiny bones in it. I think it also lacked flavor, but we got some hot sauce and whatnot and dressed it up. Because of the bones in the grouper, we got a free slice of key lime pie. Probably the best key like I've ever had! I totally recommend. The pie was very light but not too light, but it wasn't as heavy as a cheesecake either. The consistency was spot on and the flavor was delightful. The crust was perfectly crumbly and really balanced out the tartness with its sweetness. I don't know how they could've made it more perfect. One got a side of the grilled pineapple. Grilled to perfection and dusted with a delicious cinnamon sugar coating. The kiddos got their kids meals and were perfectly satisfied. All in all, we loved this place and definitely recommend it. One of the owners thought I might be Vegan and they do have Vegan food, but I told him I wasn't, the sides just looked delicious! I was not disappointed. The men's restroom was falling apart with massive hole damage on every wall. The women's restroom had one of the two stalls out and broken toilet paper rolls. They had the insulation visible on the ceiling like it was something to look at. The food was good enough but not worth the "decor" issues, the long wait, or the missing food. My husband and I had Valentines Day Dinner at C-Level. We were able to make reservations which in a lot of restaurants is unheard of anymore. Because it was Valentines all the ladies were given a long stem rose. I thought that was a nice touch. I ordered the prime rib which is always delicious. We tried calling many times two weeks before our scheduled vacation (no one would ever answer no matter the time we called). Left several messages as it was stated on the voicemail and the website. No return call or text. I tried once again on our last night of our trip and finally someone answered. They said only an 8pm reservation spot left. That wouldn't work for us so I declined and asked if they accepted walk ins. I was told "yeah, I guess but I can't promise we will get you in because we are full with reservations". I told them I had been calling for two weeks for a reservation but no answer. The reply was "ok". Awesome food! We recently moved from Panama City Beach but always try to get in here for dinner when we are in town. Stopped by Saturday night and had great service from Allie at the bar. We ordered the two specials for the evening, crab stuffed lionfish and scallops aubergine. Both were great and we had very little leftover! Oh! And we had the succotash which was the vegetable of the day. It was gone before I could take pics. So good. Had a craft cocktail from the drink list and husband had a few different beers. Highly recommend. It's locally owned and operated by a hard working set of brothers, always one or more of them in the restaurant making sure things run smoothly.
