I would give 3.5 stars if I could -- 3 seems just a tad too harsh. I walked in on a decently packed Saturday night. I had to wait maybe a couple of minutes as servers and busses passed by me quietly for the hostess to show up. Perhaps she was waiting for me to say something since she was silent, so I simply asked for a table for one. The server attended me shortly, and I ordered a sweet tea and the chicka chicka booya sandwich, no tomato, with a grilled pineapple add on inside. As a Texan, I asked for more sugar for my sweet tea, but it took her a while to ask if I needed anything. She walked by me several times throughout the night, and while it would have been nice to have been asked if I was doing all right, I am going to assume she figured I would speak up as she walked by if I needed something. I got my piece of pineapple before the sandwich, which was disappointing, but it at least served as a mini appetizer. Bread rolls were warm, no complaints. The chicka sandwich was brought out 15-20 minutes or later or so, slow given the number of people left in the restaurant, but it was delicious and served hot. Adding grilled pineapple made it all the more tasty. The waitress only left my food without asking if I needed anything else, but she at least left ketchup. A couple of busboys were arguing nearby, which wasn't pleasant. That said, I struck up a conversation with one of them, he offered me anything else as I was eating (which I appreciated), and I finished my meal. After a trip to the restroom, I returned to find the check. It took away my appetite for a dessert, not having been offered one, though since I was there past close, I can see why she didn't bother to offer. Overall, the food was great, the restaurant clean, but the service a little disappointing, and the price for a chunk of pineapple grilled with cinnamon sugar ($5) unreasonable. . First, the atmosphere in this place is fantastic! It's beautifully decorated, lighting is perfect, is super clean and the tv aquarium is a nice touch. The staff are very kind and attentive, service is excellent. Food wise, my husband ordered the prime rib, it was priced well and cooked to perfection. The kids burgers were ok, the kids fish was very under portioned, should be double the fish for the price. I ordered the blackened grouper which was sadly underseasoned and unevenly cooked (half undercooked and half overcooked) the brussel sprouts were absolutely delicious but undercooked. Very good food! Waitress was very nice! The tuna dip was wonderful! The gumbo was very good but unfortunately not hot. The fried mushroom caps were amazing! I got the blackened grouper sandwich but wasn't a fan of the blackened seasoning but my sister got the fried grouper sandwich and there was enough fish on hers to share with me. That was great! The crab cakes and crab queso dip was very good! I got the seafood platter and my husband got the ribeye. That steak beat ANGELOS BY A MILE! The platter was delicious and fresh! Sides were equally good. Highly recommend this place for dinner. *we returned on Friday at 5 pm. and our waitress was terrible. we didnt get any bread plates or refills. We watched as she serviced another table but not ours and even would roll her eyes while walking away. my filet was amazing but the rest of the table had a far worse experience. Cold cheese sticks, pink under cooked pork, and very rare steak no flavor no seasoning unlike the first time. Let me start by saying this...everyone has their off days. So many great reviews on this restaurant for us to have a bad experience but here it is. First - we are here for our 15 year wedding anniversary and C-Level was our go to. We waited for approximately 40 minutes to get a table (no problem, we don't mind waiting), we get seated we order the Crab Dip Queso - very tasty appetizer however the texture just doesn't set well with neither of us. My wife orders the Gumbo, she is a lover of Gumbo but this comes out with no chicken, no shrimp, no crawfish, no sausage - but with pork...? We sent it back, our waiter asked us how we liked it and we told him it was more like Brunswick stew and he says "yeah that is what I told them" as he holds up his charm indicating he is from New Orleans. At this point we have already ordered but an hour into us sitting and waiting at our table our waiter brings out two plates; one was Ahi Tuna and the other appeared to be prime rib and we let him know that wasn't ours so he took it back. Then a few minutes goes by and another waiter bring us one plate and says here is your dinner (crab legs) and we told him it wasn't ours so he takes it back. Twenty more minutes goes by and our waiter then comes back to us and says "y'all, I'm sorry but they sold out of the Ribeye and I was just told about it" of course we are angry after sitting for an hour at the table and being told that. Just a disappointment overall - I did discuss it with the manager and she asked us to come back tomorrow night and she would take care of our tab but we couldn't due to our travel requirements. Haven't had a bad dish in this restaurant... or a bad drink. We love to get a craft drink or a whiskey we can't find locally and they have the good ice cubes. The owner is always there and helping out where help is needed, he stands by his work, I wonder how many hours he works in a week. The bartender we like is Sam (might be something else, sorry bud) but he's super knowledgeable on spirits and super talented when it comes to a solid craft drink. I tried to eat here with my two kids because I've heard the food was good, well we didn't make it past the host stand. The guy at the stand was so rude. I asked how long the wait would be for 3 people. Simple enough question to ask someone at the host stand...you would think. But, no he was so rude and said he has no idea and whatever estimate he gives me I'm going to be "pissed". I said I'm not pissed at all just wanting to know if my two small children are going to have enough patience to wait. We saw some stellar reviews for this place, so we had to check it out! Upon arrival, we did not have to wait. Since the store was at a certain capacity, we had to sit outside. We were fine with this because of safety reasons and it was a gorgeous day out. One of us in our part of five ordered the C-platter. It lacked flavor, despite the tartar, cocktail, and butter sauces. Another ordered Grouper which had tiny bones in it. I think it also lacked flavor, but we got some hot sauce and whatnot and dressed it up. Because of the bones in the grouper, we got a free slice of key lime pie. Probably the best key like I've ever had! I totally recommend. The pie was very light but not too light, but it wasn't as heavy as a cheesecake either. The consistency was spot on and the flavor was delightful. The crust was perfectly crumbly and really balanced out the tartness with its sweetness. I don't know how they could've made it more perfect. One got a side of the grilled pineapple. Grilled to perfection and dusted with a delicious cinnamon sugar coating. The kiddos got their kids meals and were perfectly satisfied. All in all, we loved this place and definitely recommend it. If you're wondering why four stars, it's because of the lack of flavor in the C platter and the bones in the grouper. read more

The men's restroom was falling apart with massive hole damage on every wall. The women's restroom had one of the two stalls out and broken toilet paper rolls.
