This is the third time I've been to this restaurant, not overly impressed the previous two visits. Our visit started with them being out of Jordan Cabernet. He did say he had half a bottle of stag, our next choice. Oddly enough they don't sell it by the glass and he did not offer to sell half a bottle. That was confusing! While my sister enjoyed her fillet. The grouper cheeks were not prepared well, the cheese grits were cold, and the dish was drowning in sauce, which overwhelmed any possibility of what should be an incredible dish. The menu said it would be a light drizzle as I recall. When I shared this information with the waiter he said he was sorry, but never did anything about it. The manager never came by and the very least they should've taken it off the bill. While in town we wanted a place that offered crab legs that were actually good so decided to give C Level a try especially since they also offered steak and burgers for my teen boys. The service was outstanding and even the owner or GM stopped by the table asking how everything was and thanked us for coming in. I got the filet with house salad and mashed potatoes. It was cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes were delicious. The house salad was also great and I loved their raspberry vinaigrette dressing. We also got the shrimp cocktail, crab legs, prime rib and burgers with the garlic Parmesan fries and sweet potato fries. All the food was cooked great and served promptly even though we never received bread with our dinner. I loved the atmosphere with the blue lighting throughout the restaurant. The sole reason why I'm giving this review a 3 star is they tack the 3% credit card fee on their patrons. Never ever had a restaurant do this before. It's just odd. As for the food thus was our 3rd time and by far the quality was down. I went with the rib eye. We visited Panama City Beach for 2wks and C Level was (by far) the best food we had during our time in Florida. Our group of teens, adults and grandparents were equally pleased. The ambiance was casual, comfortable, clean and updated. And it notably classy, which was a welcome relief in a sea of gimmicky tourist spots. The food was outstanding. We ordered the grouper bites and crab cakes for appetizers. We ordered the prime rib special with potatoes, C Level burger with truffle fries, Mahi Tacos, Shrimp and (cheese) Grits with grilled pineapple, and fried Oreos for dessert. I would highly recommend any of these items -- all were flavorful, fresh, and cooked to perfection. The service was also excellent. We were greeted warmly upon entering, our questions were answered genuinely by our server (do yourself a favor and follow their menu recommendations), and the kitchen moved the food out to us quickly. I could see an owner circulating discreetly around the perimeter of the restaurant to ensure that everything was going well. I would highly recommend this location to a friend. This was the best seafood restaurant we visited in PCB. I got the C-Platter. It was very good, but the crab legs stood out. I do wish I could have gotten it not fried though. Grits were solid too! This is the first time we tried this restaurant. It's very close to PCB Beach on the Front Beach road. When we arrived, they were almost full on a weekday night. But we were seated right away and our server was prompt with drinks. We got the Hurricane and Macallan for drinks. Both were great and then for appetizers, we went with their crab dip with nachos. The dip was good but it was a little too salty. For the entree, I went with their grouper and fried okra. I initially wanted vegetables on the side but they didn't have any that night. So I decided to go with okra instead. Fried okra was very good but the grouper was bland. It tasted fresh but I'd have liked some seasoning on it. So I ordered hot sauce on the side. My husband ordered their fish tacos and those were better than my grouper. Their dinner portions are generous as you can see from the photos below! We had no room left for dessert but we ordered their cheesecake to go. Overall, I was very pleased with their service and really enjoyed our dinner. I will return to try something new from the menu. Brussels sprouts were amazing. There was a time in the US when the use of Balsamic became very gratuitous, in my humble opinion, and they have avoided that here. There is, in fact, Balsamic reduction on the Brussels sprouts, but in perfect proportion. Truly recommended. I had the Grouper. Fish was cooked perfectly. One of the highlights of my visit. Fish was served with a "tartar sauce" that I would call a Remoulade. Not needed in any way, but really tasty. Also had collard greens. Different than I am used to, but really tasty as well. I believe they were spiced with Old Bay. Again, not what I expected, but very good. Memorable and commendable. Would certainly order again, and recommend to others. Service was amazing. I sat at the bar, and watched Ali (not sure of spelling) tend Bar, wait on all bar guests, and cover at least 3 tables near the bar with what I would call a very efficacious work ethos. Despite this demanding load, she was polite and friendly to all. Only complaint - sort of. I had the Grouper "Oscar" style. In my limited experience, that usually entails asparagus, crab meat, and béarnaise sauce. My Grouper was absolutely heaped with Crab meat. However, I had no Asparagus, and I'm not sure the sauce is what I'd call Béarnaise. Not a real solid complaint, as the pile of Crabmeat I got was enormous, but it wasn't the preparation I expected. read more

Me and my husband decided to celebrate our 6 months wedding anniversary with Panama City beach. He surprised me with a nice light dinner here at C level. We walked in and it was super packed with big parties. But the hostess was kind, fast and attentive and sat us. Our waitress was also kind, fast and attentive they serve you complementary butter rolls with butter that were delicious. We had the crab dip and the homemade mozzarella sticks. This was the best mozzarella stick I have ever had. They literally melt inside your mouth and it wasn't clumpy like your normal sticks! The crab legs were a beautifully generous Size and bundle. The grandma key lime pie was to die for too. Super fluffy and just the right amount sweet. I can't begin to tell you what a wonderful experience we had with C-Level! I called a few months back to make a reservation for after a beach wedding for around 40 people. This was the ONLY restaurant that would take my reservation without money down. Then, the day of the wedding the manager Tiffany was an absolute God send!! I can't tell you how helpful she was in making our reception go over so well. Publix delivered our wedding cake, and she even made a table for the cake, set everything up, and even put on my cake topper! Not to mention the food, and service was phenomenal! We made a reservation for Mother's Day. The restaurant was just starting to get busy when we got there. There was a Mother's Day menu but it was not printed. We had to hunt for it on our phones. In addition, the kids menu did not have any brunch items. No kids pancakes or eggs. Our server was nice, but it took over an hour to get our food after ordering. With a toddler, that was difficult. Once we got our food, it was obvious it had been sitting a while. The eggs were over cooked. The syrup on the pancakes had a bit of a film. As well, one meal was missing. They seemed overwhelmed. However, they took reservations. They should have been prepared for the number of customers. They also automatically applied a tip of 20% for a party of 5 adults and an almost 2 year old. Crab legs were $20 to add to our prime rib entree and entree comes with two sides. They have a good variety of sides including fried okra. We did not order any of the various appetizers. My wife had a tasty old fashioned cocktail. I asked for gumbo sub for a side and was granted that for $2. It is a very nice family feel in here fyi. My wife ordered the 12oz Prime rib with fried okra and side salad and I ordered the 16oz with fried okra. Also side fyi- my wife went to restroom and said they were extremely clean! My wife's side salad was very fresh and good. My gumbo was a 5/5 authentic flavor and delicious and decent portion. The service as I said is less than dressed to the 9's kinda of appearance but felt like your family or friends taking care of you as you ate to meet your needs. Teamwork makes dream work as they say in the business and this place so far has been very nice. On to the entree, In hindsight the famous prime rib was just a hair tough if I had to find a complaint. But very tasty, and to be honest it sat on plate a while I enjoyed the great size snow crab legs. All in all delicious and satisfied! September 19, 2022 with a reservation our group of 7 went for dinner. I emphasize, with a reservation, because there was another group there that was unhappy that we got seated first. The difference between our group and their group was that we made a reservation ahead of time. We sat in the back room. And we started off with a couple bottles of wine and a cocktails. The wine list is well thought out and they have numerous specialty cocktails. Let me start by saying that dinner rolls are wonderful. We ultimately ended up ordering five grouper entrées. We had the entrées prepared several different ways. They were all absolutely delicious! And we also had a huge variety of sides. The truffle potatoes were a hit, they're delicious and can be ordered loaded as well (go for it)! The collards were good, the brussels sprouts even better. For dessert we ordered the peanut butter pie, Keylime pie and the fried Oreos. Every one of them was really good and looks like the plates been licked clean. Houston, thank you for answering several preparation questions and the attentive service. This review would have been five stars were it not for the very loud rock music.
